Anyway OP just eat alot, count your calories, do this for a year. It will hurt, but you gotta do it. Invest in some mass gainer if you have the money, but you don't need it.

Ok I couldn't find it... you'll probably see it posted eventually. Also your pic is not too skelly. Just eat up and lift. Real lifts, no faggy machines. Then you'll start growing.

The only thing you gotta worry about with fat heavy diets is cholesterol, which is only a problem if you eat way too much fat.

Try to bulk on calorie dense foods that don't have too much fat in them (this means carbs, pasta and bread and shit).

You don't want to be too reckless with fatty foods, because while they're good, too much fat can fuck your cholesterol up, the same goes for sugary foods, which are also a good way to pack in calories, but you gotta be careful or you get the beetus.

Ideally you want to eat a range of relatively calorie dense foods in multiple meals a day, with decent variety in nutrition (and plenty of protein). This means shit like, breakfast: porridge and cream, lunch: spag bol, dinner: chicken curry lots of rice and naan. Drink milk with every meal, and have some snacks during the day (crisps and chocolate and whatnot), and you're looking at an easy 4k+ calories a day without literally killing yourself by eating straight sugar or lard.

Just remember, you gotta make sure you get those protons, and actually lift, or all you'll do is gain bodyfat.

Appreciate the info about cholesterol. I'm definitely trying to avoid sugar, I was raised on sugar-o's and I think it has something to do with my skellyness now.

i mean you don't necessarily have to do a gallon, maybe do like 2 litres of milk a day or something. eat lots of oatmeal too man, and meal prep some chicken so you can grab some whenever you're hungry. get a gym membership asap and start doing heavy compounds. good luck man.

1. Eat more - focus on calories and lots of carbs
2. Don't just eat sugar. You'll get more out of a cup of brown rice than a handful of skittles, despite the calorie difference.
3. Sleep a lot more. Stop staying up. This is essential, and one of the hardest parts.
4. Just lift. Suck up those noob gains.

Two years about. One year lifting. I could've done it in the single year, but I literally had no understanding of fitness and nutrition.

Breaking the 150 was the hardest for me. Your body has "sticking points" for weight, usually about every 10lbs or so. Just absolutely stuff your face for a few weeks and lift heavy. Once you break the plateu, you can go back to normal eating and your weight will maintain.

I'm trying to eat more, definitely eat a lot more than I've used to during my stupid "lol guise no matter how much I eat I can't gain weight lol" years. I've also started drinking milk, not a pint/meal as you suggest though, more like pint/day (whole milk). Is pint/meal really safe and has no downsides? For example GOMAD definitely sounds unhealthy to me, but not sure what level is healthy.

Peanut butter is good. A few tablespoons before bed with some milk always help me.

Eat food that you like, honestly. I tried the whole "2800 calorie oat and protein smoothie" stuff for a while. And it got me to 135. But that kind of stuff isn't sustainable mentally.

In other words: If you end up eating 700cal more of pizza than of oats, simply because you enjoy the taste, then eat the pizza. Don't worry about gaining too much fat, you'll be fine. Just don't eat tons of sugary things (candy, sweets, soda, etc) because that'll mess with your insulin response too much to be worth the calories.

Here are some actual suggestions though.
-Rice/grain dishes (stir fry, quinoa bowls, burritos, yellow rice and black beans)
-Pasta dishes
-Dense Sandwiches (peanut butter and banana)
-High carb Fruits (banana, dates, apple, fig)
-Potatoes

Again, it depends what you like. I like bananas, so I sometimes eat 6 whole bananas for breakfast. It's mostly a matter of eating what teastes good to you, as you'll always eat more of what you like.

Thank you for this, definitely trying some of those suggestions, peanut butter and banana sandwich sounds delicious and couple of tablespoons with milk before bed sounds manageable.
