That's pretty much it. I'm honestly a little excited to start this year off.

All in all life is pretty good. I'm healthy, money is not a problem and I am all around pleased with myself. Social aspect is what I lack. Which I don't neccesarily mind, but it makes finding a relationship next to impossible since I don't meet anyone. I also feel like I'm going to have to make a decision regarding my future soon. I have a good, stable job. And though it doesn't earn much by any standard I have income aplenty, but there's no real future in it. Where I'm at right now is basically it. Winning the lottery is also still in my plans.

Your goals should never be influenced by what others think of you. Be yourself, your own man, your own woman, improve what you want to improve. Trying to mound yourself into someone else will only bring you unhappiness.
That’s not to say you shouldn’t be motivated by those who inspire you. I’m saying you should not aspire to be like the inspiration in the end result. You should be yourself, only tenfold improved at the end of the road. Take it step by step, blow by blow, assign yourself achievable goals and strive to reach them in 2018. Then you set goals for next year, and the year after and so forth. Self improvement is long and harsh road with the end far from sight, you should not let this discourage you for the beauty of the end result is what should motivate you going forward. Never forget what you’re working for.

Lift for yourself, love yourself.

I'm looking to essentially lift to get shredded for next year's summer - I'm going to a few festivals and basically want to be 1/10th of Jeff Seid lol. I've been lifting 4 months, and am nearly at 1/2/3/4. Is there any recommended way to program this? Bulk until April then cut?

I was thinking of bulk until I hit 1/2/3/4, switch to hypertrophy work then and do a lean gain/body recomp and then in April do a cut. I'm about 6 weeks away from 1/2/3, it's the deadlift I'm a fair bit away from. I squat and deadlift the same amount, 110kg 5rm.

Has anyone programmed like this or am I wasting my time?

Happiness is overrated and an impulse not worth chasing. Do something meaningful with your life, be responsible and be a better man with each day then you were the day before. The rest can wait.

Ready the sticky if you haven't. Losing weight isn't that hard, I had 110-120 kg and am currently around 80ish, while being 190 cm tall. What helped me was basketball and taking one hour walks, getting rid of junk food and sodas completely, you can also cut alcohol, too. Eat more healthy, exercise for at least half an hour a day while resting on Sunday and you'll lose it easily, as well. Look into weight lifting while you're at it, it'll do you good.
