Fuck knows I try stay as far away from that area as possible, it's like a disco at times with music blasting and the lights spinning on top. Don't like this gym very much but it's my first, I've only been going around a month

No pic available, but Alvin's Gym in Savannah GA was the best gym I ever used. Old equipment, chalk everywhere. The place reeked of old sweat and dbol. God I miss that place.

Looks comfy, if a bit minimal

Kind of cramped and disorganized. Those giant multi function cages are cool too, we recently got one. I might try to snag a few pics when I go tonight if the thread is still alive

It's a bit cramped but more spacious than the photos show and I've rarely seen more than 10 people in there at once so it hardly matters. The owner is pretty chill too.

It also has one more floor with cardio machines, cables, smith, squat rack and. Leg press. It also has lifting platform. Feels pretty good as it has dbs up to 50 kg and ohio power bar.

I had a funny moment yesterday, bear in mind I've been at the gym for a month and it was my first time trying to squat.

>put bar on my back
>go to try and squat.. go about 1/5th of the way down
>doesn't feel right
>happens again about 3-4 times
>sure there's people laughing at me

I did put on 10kg each side in the end and done around 5 reps 2 times, I don't think I can do it without weight which is odd

its small, and no power rack, but at least it's pretty much abandoned in the evenings. i get the whole place to myself.
