no he's right, when you're natty the hypertrophic potential of your muscles is much lower than the strength potential. so even if you keep getting stronger depending on your natty potential you might not look like it.
while you're on roids though that natty, hypertrophic limit disappears that way as you grow in strength you'll also keep growing in size and "look" strong
Steroids usually increase protein synthesis so you train really hard one muscle and the stimulus lasts far longer than a natty.

I do max effort lifts 1-3 rep range 7 days a week after seeing his vids and you know what? I've never made gains like this and I fully believe over training is a myth now.

I've lifted 6x a week doing max effort 1-3 rep sets for squats and 1-5 rep sets of bench with 5-12 rep sets of accessories after for like 2 years and I made linear progress until only very recently so I'm trying periodization for the first time.
All the programs that are 3-4x a week seem like a fucking joke to me now

I think he might be a bit off on his self proclaimed numbers. But is he natty? Absolutely. With gifted genetics, naturally high testosterone and a great diet he is the peak of what every natty should aspire to be. Can you post his program? I saw the video where he says he concentrates on one thing until he reaches his goal, I took that to mean he will do deadlifts every day until he adds 10lbs to his max then he'll do squats every day until he increases his max etc. It doesn't sound THAT intense, he might only do 10 reps a day and nothing else.
