THIS TIME we hit bump limit

dead thread dead sport

>this fat tub of shit is considered an """elite""" """olympic""" """weightlifter"""

man, you bouncelifting fanboys (none of you can ACTUALLY lift for shit obviously) should be ashamed of yourselves. THIS corpulent schmuck with floppy bitch tits is an """elite""" """athlete""" in this little niche activity?

no bump for you shit bags because this is fucking embarrassing. lmaooooooooooooo..

Havent Been able to hit the Gym since friday because Im still sick
On the verge of kyssing myself

Is this sport really dead?

Havent been in this threads for months. Just here to post some photos.

...

yea

...

...

...

WADA and the IOC are out to kill it so they can have more limp wrist faggotry like rhythmic gymnastics or 3v3 basketball in the Olympics.

That is literally the worst human flag I've ever seen. I could take a picture like that if I just recorded myself jumping my ass into that position, then taking that single frame and portraying it as a still shot.

Why is Mattie so salty about the window bringing her more fame?

her Twitter (where the majority of the content you post is text) has 6% the following of her IG (lots of selfies)

Do you think her following is just due to personal efforts and achievements?

i wanna lick her feet

Where is this from? Informational video?

bump

Idk, the IWF is doing dumb shit like only giving Ilya a 2 year ban despite two retroactive failures.

>I DID NOT GET FAMOUS FROM BREAKING A WINDOW

She's right. I'm pretty sure she broke a door. And she's famous because Stone Cold Steve Austin retweeted it because Glass Shattering was his theme song. His theme song also being more famous than her.

Her occasional post about how she doesn't have any talent and it's just all hard work SRS GAISE chap my butthole.

I can see that she works hard. And it's fine that she's proud of her hard work and accomplishments (being the second best second class weightlifter in a fourth rate weightlifting country). But saying it's not talent is such a blatant fucking lie that it insults my intelligence, and makes her come off like a complete cunt.

Fact is, if she didn't have stubby arms and a vertical leap in the top 1% of all females, the only way anyone would know who the fuck she was is if she were a porn star.

bro she did gymnastics throughout childhood
i know you didn't start using your body until like seven months ago but
like
a lot of the rest of us have been playing sports since we were 6 so
like
do what you can
but don't think this hasn't been a grind

gb2r*ddit and stay there until you learn how to read.

How do i start guise

Just train snatch/cj form and get stronger at squats/presses/pulls

wow childhood sports, what a grind.

Any recommendation on brands or what to look for when buying gym wear? My cotton t-shirt and basketball shorts from Walmart are pretty loose and I don't like having to readjust my clothing every time I do a set.

I can't stand anyone who turns an instagram post into a soap opera biopic, so mattie's probably my least favourite american weightlifter

is a 5x5 a good base program before I practice snatch/cj?

>is a 5x5 a good base program
Seems okay, yeah.
>before I practice snatch/cj?
Start training both at the same time, but start your sessions with classic lifts then end it with squats/presses/pulls as assistance work.

Can anyone please explain BB work to autistic me? All I ever got out of pastebins is "Just do it".

thats because he didnt know he had been popped from the 2008 samples when he roided in 2012 SILLY

we she does have to workout to have that body, so... yes?

>tfw they feel your non-existent bicep

What do you want to know? It's just bodybuilding work man.

not him, but I want to know why people insist it should be done. Isn't it only aesthetic by its very nature?

big muscle = strong muscle = better performance

tendon health brah

muscles have a function beyond looking nice

e.g. do upper back work so that muscles are bigger and stronger and more easily keep the bar close, and do tricep work so you're stable at lockout. Even curls are important for elbow health. Nobody's saying do a 6 day split, just do a few bb exercises to address your weak points after every session

In my experience the only ones who talk shit about bodybuilding are either bad or stupidly talented anyway and could be even better with some bb work

100 reps of upper back and triceps every session

Mostly it's just dudes who look like absolute shit and failed at BB or are deep in the stremf training am superior mindset while usually being fucking shitters who'll never accomplish shit.

I started lifting with a BB routine actually, so I constantly have normies calling me ripped even though I can't even squat lmao3pl8 at bodyweight 190lb. Feels bad man, like i wasted years fucking around at teh gym instead of getting big n stronk. Also feels like all the muscle I put on is incredibly inefficient and weak for its mass.

Anyways would you substitute weighted chin ups for curls? I like them better.

Yeah but you have to do some pull-ups or at least some rows

it's like being really accomplished at whatever but having one of your fuck-ups being what people remember

most of her following is people who imagine someday getting to fuck her; for example, the first response to your question. another good chunk is GO GRILZ wymenists. i'm sure there are probably a half-dozen or so each of people who follow her for sheer love of the sport or because they know her personally

you know that cord in the waistband of your cheap walmart flannel shorts? you can tie a knot in it. you can also buy a different size of t-shirt there for the same cheap price you paid for the one that doesn't fit

Unfortunately I already do tie that cord and I do make sure to buy the appropriate size. Loose may have been a bad way to describe it. Baggy maybe? My shirt shifts around if I were to go a size smaller the shirt just wouldn't fit. My shorts are loose in the sense that the lower leg area blocks my view so I can't clearly see my depth when I go down. I did a little bit more searching and I might invest in some compression clothing. Thanks for the advice though.

I’m over Rebecca

...

No. Stronglifts is a garbage program in general.

How so

up up, QT. up up!

Lock out Wojak baby x

Any advice for knee health? My right knee has been feeling weird when locked out. I don't know what caused it. There is no pain just feels strange. Might have been from a heavy split jerk session. I put my left leg forward. Might also be from doing a set of "power lifting squats" at 50%. This was prescribed by a trainer friend who does weightlifting and writes my weekly program. Only mentioning those power lifting squats because I got into that position last night under a light bar and did a few and my knee felt REALLY weird. Like there was a sensation that ran up my calf through knee and into hamstring.

t. has never taken anything in his life seriously

ROASTED

but they are though

Like 6 year old sports? Yeah, thank God I didn't have those parents trying to make me be mark mcguire

starting at six. that's 20+years of physical training for competitive sports.
it really is your loss
i know you won't be able to see that

start doing chins then you fucking retard

Dizzyballs failed another doping test, to the surprise of literally nobody

How angled does /owg/ keep their feet when they pull?

>2018
>people still can't read

>bro she's only really good at what she does because she can jump high
>and that's, like, not some thing you can just work at
>you can epithet jump or you can't
>didn't you see that movie with wesley 'fuligin cloak' snipes and woody woodpecker harrelson?
>but that's not what I'm actually saying lol can't you read?

>ywn cope this much for your shit lifts
feels good desu

not entirely straight forward, maybe at like a 5-10 degree angle. basically just a normal standing position. mostly do this so I can move my feet out into a comfortable squat position in the catch.

I'm a fan of the 30-ish degree angle cause that's how I squat.
My lifts are shit thought so don't listen to me.

...

>go to the gym in the morning
>absolutely full, can't get a rack/platform

>come back at night
>forgot my water, fountain is broken, dehydrated and exhausted after first exercise and had to go home

What a day

Sorry for the blog post x

>finally find a WL gym near me
>tennis elbow same day

JUST

I am doomed to never practice this sport in my life

can you tell me a better strength programme? I really want to be stronger first

SS + GOMAD

okay thank you, will I lose fat too?

sl is just a ripoff of ss
like most ripoffs, it's not as good as the original
if you want a little more upperbody volume, add a 2x10-12 press on bench day and the reverse on press day as the last lift before going home

throw in some sets of chins and dips at the end of some sessions
if you want to bench, do it after the olw and squats are done
if you want to attract faggots, add some curls
don't obliterate your muscles and don't get too sore to actually train the lifts the next day, though

very unconvincing trap

are dips BB work? I've been doing them for strength instead of bench press because I don't want to ask gym randos to spot me.

>add a 2x10-12 press on bench day and the reverse on press day as the last lift before going home

do this with dips instead of the other major compound lift, don't treat OHP/Bench as BB exercises

last bump for the night
/owg/ will live again, I believe

ohp and bench ARE bb exercises, bbers use them all the time lol
dips are a fine substitute however, they make good alternates for bench/closegrip/etc as a general upperbody compound

major compounds such as dips, pullups, bench, press, squat, etc. are either strength movements OR bb work depending upon the volume of work used
doing sets of dips with weight that limit you to 5-7 reps a set will be very strength bias
if you can do a dozen or more dips with bodyweight then doing sets of that is a very hypertrophy bias
dips chins pullups don't lend themselves to 1rm but can be done for strength weighted at around 5-7rm no prob
same with bench etc. or squat, if you do them heavy enough to stop you under a half-dozen reps then it's a strength bias, if you do 20-rep squats or 2x10-12 bench then it's a size bias
the only exercises that really are only bb work are odd lifts and db stuff that absolutely does not lend itself to heavy work at low reps (nobody has a 1rm or 5rm upright row or lateral db raise for examples) and stuff like faggot bends aka curls
