I've been doing this for a very long time, many of my friends have been doing this for a very long time, and we don't shrink if were eating at or around .5g per pound. Shit, you might not even need that much. Guaranteed the fitness industry pushes this shit all across thr internet and magazines because the protein powder industry is probably in the billions.

If you're s total skelly and don't have much mass, sure, eat as much as you can but you don't need that much shit to maintain.
