So I thought about carbs, specifically white rice and white pasta, which is best in terms of gains, muscle building potential, nutrition and preparation? I am also wondering about the long-term effects of eating more (or only) of one than the other?
Rice or Pasta?
brown rice or wheat pasta. no white shit
I did not ask about brown rice or wheat pasta, I asked about WHITE rice vs WHITE pasta
>BLACKED
pasta has more ptotoin
pasta is low glycemic but if you're not very gluten tolerant you should stick to rice, both suck in nutrition though
>brown

Both equally shit
What is better during a bulk than pasta considering cooking time vs. Food value? I make pasta everyday and it gives me the important fats, carbs and protein and I get like 1200 kcal

>rice or pasta?
I like rice + legumes for the protein, never heard of anyone making pasta & beans as a dish.
For straight carbs potatoes & sweet potatoes are the way to go though.
pasta for me because it tastes better
Pasta fagioli, pasta e ceci, pasta lenticchie, lagane con pure di fave
Also canellini beans or chickpeas great for pasta salads

pasta and beans is one of the most famous poor people food in italy
Can I get a recipe? Sounds like a solid grandma recipe.
I like pasta with chili if that counts
lazy way is to whisk an half can of beans and mix the whisked beans, normal beans and cooked pasta in a pot with a little bit of the pasta boiling water but there are far better recipe, google is your friend
