the best way to do this is to cut frequently, for a week or two, lose 2 or 3 lbs of flub, and then getback to bulking

Just hit it more often. My chest was the hardest muscle for me so I switched from working it out twice a week to working it out 3 days a week and I got better results. Also you might not be doing the right exercises, really hard to know without knowing your routine

Unless you're a tub of lard before you start cutting, test gains will be minimal. 20% to 12% will barely make a difference.
