This year in the Netherlands the price of candy and junkfood lowered and the price of healthy food rose again. It's unbelievable how our government is fucking our society up. All these huge food companies have way too much power and the only one who can stop them is the government but instead they let healthy food become more expensive by the year and junkfood keeps getting cheaper. When I go grocery shopping it's unbelievable how much junk food and products with ridiculous amount of sugar there is.

Realistically, educate at an early level a philosophy that celebrates the idea of individual achievement and being responsible for your own actions and having a sense of pride in your accomplishments and health while not blaming others for your failings.

Taxation.

Obese people require the expenditure of more fuel for public transportation so they should just pay more. Each bus should have a scale installed and that would be expensive but I think the money saved from getting people to pay fare based upon their weight would make it all back.
