I love doing t-bar rows and shit, it is great. It is in between machine and free weight, more like a cable. Significantly more range of motion. Underhand t bar rows are one of my favorite lat workouts

It’s my preferred row, do some heavy barbell for singles or triples then finish off with some 15-20 reps on the t bar. Arnie used it at least once. I think it lets you use more back since you really have to balance, you just plant your feet and heave.
