Just stop. I did it 18 months ago, and it wasn't hard. Instead of smoking, read something, play a vidya, cook food. Do something that stops you smoking, even it's another bullshit cope, as long as it's not lmaoweed.

The next time you have a pouff, have a think for a minute about how long your life is going to last, how many years on average, how many months that is. theres no way to prolong it, and everyone you love is going to die at some point to. Yeah just stop, i smoked for 5 or 6 years straight, morning, lunch, dinner, late at night and before bed, when my dealer was running late i would get fucking agro but then one day i thought about what its like to be straight and i honestly could not remember so i quit...i had bad withdrawels, really deppressed, could talk to mates, fucking jittery but its something you can do, takes a week to two weeks to get it out of your head, do it man

I did it with a guide. Everyday you are reminded that withdrawl symptons will pass and some encouraging words.
Too bad that controlled smoking doesn't work for me as I fall back into bad habits.

Cannabis lowers your testosterone by inhibiting GnRH release in the hypothalamus. Only a short term effect but if you smoke everyday it is also lowered everyday.

Chemical addiction is not real. Addiction science is pseudoscience. It is a habit, and you must kick it unless you wish to develop psychosis, or a multitude of other mental issues that can occur as a result of consistent usage.

I just read a big article in Men's Health that was all about the possible benefits of weed to overall fitness. Apparently a pretty good amount of athletes like to smoke a bowl post-workout to help them relax and recover.

Could just be bullshit but I've smoked after a workout and have noticed some benefits.

The first two weeks are the hardest. Personally I think it helps to have one last hurrah before you quit cold turkey. Smoke up what you have left and as you smoke the last of it, just tell yourself this is the last time you're smoking and enjoy it while you can.

Then just don't buy more. You'll be bored and maybe depressed for those first few weeks but after that it's easy.

Just stop? Weed does not cause physical addiction. I smoked for years and then just decided to stop and that was it, never felt like doing it again. Any addiction to it is all a mirage imagined by you.

Let yourself run out, then don't buy anymore. First couple days you will really want a puff, but feel more awake. Then you start getting odd anxieties, appetite and sleep disturbance, other minor BS. Withdrawal (inb4 not addictive yes kids, cannabis withdrawal is mild but real for the habitual smoker) kind of peaks after a week and then you gradually start feeling better and better.
Brain and body normalizes with logarithmically diminishing returns during 3-6 weeks. If you can keep it to a one day per week thing after a good break you get the max benefits with no BS. Habitual smoking is only good for killing time chilling, obliterates your stash, cash and comes with negs upon cessation.

At one point in my life I was burning through quarters of good ass weed every couple days, smoking from morning to night for DAYS on end, only leaving my room to go to the bathroom and eat food. I smoked a whole blunt of some dank ass purp and it got me half-high for about 30 minutes. I just kinda burned myself out on the shit and just lost that craving for it completely. Running is my high now.

Hardest time when you're quitting is at night. I always smoke before bed and when I quit for a week last month I couldn't sleep for shit and had cold sweats. My sweat literally stunk of weed. It increased my appetite though which was good 4 gainz

Well, I used to be a fat virgin neet who also happend to be a weed addict(it was not habit it was addiction cuz i could not quit that easy). I did like three tabs of acid once and I helped me realise that weed was just garbage(for me at least), It just made slugish, hungry and anti social.

This is how I do it

>decarb your weed
>set up a double boil I just place my jar I store it in in a pot with water
>add the weed and the highest proof drinking alcohol you can get
>simmer it in the alcohol for a while, don’t let it boil too much (you’ll just cook off the booze and waste it)
>strain out the leaves and put into dropper bottle

As for the dosing each time it’s a little difference I start with a full dropper and go from there. It takes about an hour to really kick in, I feel like the high is way cleaner like I don’t get munchies, you don’t get that feeling when the high rolls in on (say you smoke a little too much) it’s almost unnoticeable, until you try and do something and realize how high you are

I also save the leaves from the first round and leave it to soak with alcohol until I make some more, I use this second round in foods in particular or use it topically, I once dumped a bunch of the second runs in a bath and I felt like I got pretty high

You just need to stop for long enough to see the benefits of not smoking. Benefits include: none or lessened paranoia, better memory, higher iq/mental clarity, probably better mood, but at least more regular mood, more money from not buying weed. Pretty significant benefits. You'll probably see most of those within two weeks of not smoking anymore. From there, feeling those benefits will motivate you enough to not smoke anymore. That's what happened to me. The upsides of not smoking heavily outweighed the upsides of smoking, and now I don't even think of going back.

Yeah I know, I try to stay off for as long as I can. Just don't want anyone thinking it's not something you can't become dependant, or that it can't be difficult to quit. People with conditions arent weak. No one chooses to have these problems or to have been conditioned to behave in such a manner. Every day is a battle to remind yourself you don't have to be the person those around you programmed you to be from birth.

I get high about once every two weeks on average. I have a very nice bong that filters the smoke out a lot and use ice to get really smooth hits with no coughing. It's quite nice to do the odd time and it's legal where I live. Must suck balls being a weakling with no self control that becomes dependent on a fucking plant.
