the trick is to eat specific food, that's good for you, easy to eat and has lots of calories.
ie:
eat greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt
peanut butter& jelly sandwitches
sardine cans
lots of milk
also try to eat every two hours.
you don't have to stuff yourself with 1500 calories during lunch, just eat 200 before, 400 during lunch, 200 later, ect.

Feeling full doesn't really correlate to the amount of calories, it depends on the density of the food and how hard it is to digest.

200 calories of vegetables cooked al dente is much more filling than 500 calories of popcorn.

also milk, beef/pork and eggs. find 5-10 meals you like and rotate them. something like

>dinner: pulled pork

drink milk/shake with each meal and have deserts
