Low carb protein bars

Are there any low carb protein bars?

yup

audible kek

quest bars seem to be pretty popular

Fpbp

It's cheaper too

Costco/Kirkland is supposed to have a house-version of Quest bars that are good

I cant quickly grab 4 chicken tenders...

thought u have to be a member to shop there however

Sure you can. Just cook them and keep them in a tupperware container.

Costco (Kirkland brand) bars are good in terms of nutritional value and cost. But they taste like shit compared to quest bars. However costco also has pureprotein bars which are about the same as quest and a few bucks more than kirkland.

I get the Kirkland bars because they have a lot of fiber.

not op here,

but I assume hes asking specifically for ready made protein bars

I'm thinking of making my own. There are recipes on the internet. Here's what I'm thinking of doing so far:

5 scoops of protein powder
2/3 cup of almond flour
1 cup of almond milk
4 tablespoons of almond butter or peanut butter
Mix in a blender
Pour into a tray with wax paper and let it set in the fridge overnight.
Has anyone been successful in making their own protein bars?

That actually seems like a really good idea.

I've done it before, it works and tastes good

just messy

Been struggling with this too, pretty much ALL protein bars that I've come across has 20g+ of sugar stuffed inside it, I really don't want to eat 1g of sugar for every 1g of protein.

Ya but it's worth it. Gasoline, rotisserie chicken, coconut oil, etc etc they have rockin deals

If you want to make proteins bars, pick up pic related. Heat it up and mix it with your protein powder (there's instructions and recipes everywhere online). If I'm not mistaken, it's the binder that quest uses to make their bars.
I've used it before and the result is bars that have that packaged protein bar texture, plus you could just throw literally anything you want into them.

Looks good, might give it a shot if the texture of my recipe is just impossible to eat. I probably won't mind eating it with a spoon most of the time if I need to as long as it tastes decent.

That doesn't look like food

wrap pre-cooked tendies in plastic wrap, individually.

kek

i keep seeing these posted. is it a meme like sips? i still have a box of builderbars to go through but i'll try these next i guess.

I'm trying to stick to Keeto so I have to heavily limit carbs. The hard part is most protein bars and cookies have tons of damn carbs!

Quest bars are way better than builder bars. They are whey instead of soy, and have a pretty good amount of dietary fiber. They are just hella over priced in comparison to a decent shake or even just making real food.

>is it a meme like sips?
nope, quest bars are legit, take a look at the nutrition info if you're worried

I HATE cooking! But alas, I'm going to have to accept the fact that high protein, low carbs is easier through food than bars...

thanks i'll give them a whirl. a box of 12 isn't that much more than builderbars. i like bars a mid afternoon snack at work around 3pm so i'm not starving by the time i get to the gym at 6. some times mixed nuts instead.

Aldi has Elevation brand bars. Pretty comparable to Quest bars and they're less than a dollar each. The chocolate caramel tastes just like a candy bar
