I do think it's good to have a purpose becaus realistically, most neets I've known don't learn new things, or paint, or read - they sit around masturbating and playing vidya all day and spending whatever money they have on drugs and/or alcohol. Balance in all things. I work, keep fit, have a variety of things to keep myself entertained and socialise when I get the chance and feel like it and to be honest, I like my life a thousand times more than I did 10 years ago when I was sitting on my arse contemplating nothingness.
