once you've stalled like 3x or whatever your program states, move onto an intermediate program, maybe PPL or a bodybuilding split with highish volume, like 3x8 3x a week for squats, but since you're doing other compounds you might find it hard to recover since you're in your 40s


what's your height/weight?
i'd recommend strength training instead of trying to just get bigger, doing a decent intermediate program will get you bigger anyway eventually
