So in order to compete at the elite level of a sport like boxing(or really almost any sport?) you certainly have to be juicing right?
Both of the men in pic related are 6'6", around 240lbs and the one on the right is 41 years old. Left is 28 years old.
Is this even remotely possible natty, with some kind of extreme training regimen?
How much know-how of the science of juicing does one need in order to reliably pass the tests they give before and after a match? Do you need a team of doctors or could one theoretically do it themselves without needing doctors etc?
>Also general boxing thread if you'd like Post routines/tips/experiences
No shame in being Welter or Middleweight, you still get paid the same.
Julian Morris
OP here, I'm 6'4 and my weight naturally sits pretty high.
Gabriel Jenkins
>in order to reliably pass the tests
Do you really think they don't get paid off, even Iron Mike admitting to juicing in the 90's. Too much money at stake worldwide for some pencil neck doctor to but the fights on the skids.
Levi Cruz
Recently heavyweight Ortiz was held back from fighting Wilder because he failed to pass the test. I assume that they time the cycles in a way that nothing shows up on the tests. They don't randomly test boxers. They do in UFC though.
Jose Phillips
Boxers who have been doing it since they were kids seem more legit than the Hollywood actors that pack on 12+lbs in a few months from nowhere.
Wlad has pretty much looked like that for 20+ years at this point, AJ's jump was abit supicious but probably possible. The only Boxer I ever thought that roided without a doubt was Roy Jones after reading and trying his workout regime for a year.
Michael Bennett
delusional they all roid OP, tests are a joke
Jaxon Rivera
I think that is more a Dana White vs Ortiz thing than protecting the integrity of the sport.
Dana didn't think about the integrity of the sport was he was trying to get Cyborg lined up for fights for years.
Leo Hernandez
>Manlets like Floyd Mayweather roid
C'mon m8
Hudson Bennett
So the question comes down to: do they actually time the cycles so they pass the tests? Or do they just roid all the way through and the tests are trashed regardless if they pass them or not?
Wyatt Jackson
>Is this even remotely possible natty, with some kind of extreme training regimen?
No. The harder you train, the more time you need to recover. That's where gear comes in.
Daniel Gomez
Alistair Overeem was a clear example of a juicer. Anthony and Wladimir look kinda natty tbqh. They both have outlier genetics. I know two or three dudes like that. Still fits the natty curve
Robert Brooks
>Pay off a doctor a mil to ignore a test >Lose 50 mil if the fight is called off
Dunno m8
Dominic Hall
yes they do and you and I would too if we were professional athletes making mad bank and getting away with it easily
Samuel Wilson
Holy shit, kill yourlelf.
Caleb Howard
>they are natty because they don't look as big as alistair lmao. Protip: even fedor was probably on more shit than /fraud/ combined
Daniel Richardson
It's not just about muscle mass, retard. There are other drugs that boost things like endurance, which is critical in boxing.
Ethan White
Did Tyson Fury(right) roid? He beat one of the longest reigning world champs(left).
Adrian Reed
He was caught with Nandrolone.
Luke Nguyen
USADA is definitely legit. if there was any possibility of them being paid off or cheated or anything like that then jon jones would never have failed a drug test. look at all the excuses dana white and people like joe rogan make for that guy - if there was any way at all for jones to cheat the drug test with the help of dana white then he would have done it because they love jon jones and he makes them a lot of money. of course usada cannot be perfect, but there's not much reason to doubt them
>implying this is standard practice post proof, nigger
once you become a professional athlete you must immediately start taking sterons just for the lulz even though you dont need it to achieve that at all just because who cares lmao
Robert Brooks
But the fighters didn't always have a million to pay, they had to have started somewhere? They just start to roid in their later career?
William Perez
how does this equate to definite steroids use? maybe he just does a sufficient amount of cardio >inb4 "no that's not possible. no way he actually does adequate training"
Charles Myers
>USADA is definitely legit shit delusional am*rimutts say
Cooper Kelly
>those hips >that fat distribution jesus christ I would've killed myself he's lucky he's 6'9" or some shit.
Camden Powell
>But the fighters didn't always have a million to pay you cant seriously be saying that guys like eric bugenhagen arent giving million dollar bribes to the drug testers. you literally just have to call them up on the phone and be like "hey i'm doing PED's lemme bribe you so i can pass the test" and they'll be like "yeah no problem bro that's totally fine"
They don't need to pay anyone, tests just can't detect everything that exists out there. They just use shit that won't get detects
Parker Stewart
When modern fighters refer to the "technological" difference between modern fighters and fighters from other eras, are they really referring to roids? Would it be better if boxing was more strict about roid usage?
Hunter Flores
Wladamir grew up in the old Soviet school of boxing. No way he hadn't roided up at one point in time. AJ is probably on some supplement although for a while he was under suspicion of being on PEDs because he has weird looking abs. But then again heavyweights don't have to worry about doing extreme cuts to make weight, they have no cap limit and can come in as healthy as they want to. I've seen guys look like Auswitchz victims stepping onto the scale because they had to do extreme weight cuts, heavyweights don't have to do that.
99% of people in boxing are on something BUT depending on the state athletic commission and organization they may or may not be illegal and here's where you get into grey areas. Floyd Mayweather by everyone's accounts is one of the hardest working dudes but he has brittle hands. Every fight he takes a shot to numb his hands up so he can fight. In Nevada that shot is legal but if it were NY or London that shot may be illegal to take.
Additionally in boxing drug testing plays a big part in fight negotiations. Some fighters want VADA, WADA, OSTD - each one is a different drug testing organization and each has their own way of doing things. Some fighters want certain cutoff dates where they can't be blood tested. Other fighters don't want random drug tests. And a lot depends on who the athletic commission is.
tl;dr people are on something, but it all depends on what's considered legal/illegal
Gavin Butler
>i'm a d&c jew and i have no argument lmao good stuff, faggot
>everyone takes drugs because i say so >eating meat is considered steroids
Asher Bailey
Tyson Fury is a massive fatass. He's been out of the ring for 2 years due to legal problems with the BBBoC and during that time he's ballooned well into the 300 pound range
Landon Torres
Its sort of possible but keep in mind top level athletes are usually genetically gifted and have been training at professional level since childhood
Dylan Ross
Technique beats roids
Isaiah Miller
people here think that omar isuf is the maximum top level of human performance. or they think that because they know how to do face pulls they're automatically on the same level as the world class elite
Kevin Powell
...
William Morales
so fucking glad he beat the living shit out of that negro
Austin Smith
they're both on roids
Andrew Torres
because he fights for HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS. every advantage is critical
Eli Butler
>thinking Stipe is natty
the state of this fucking board
Jordan Stewart
Cain and Stipe are natty
Jacob Bell
yes, floyd mayweather, the highest paid athlete of all time probably has access to ways to take steroids and they'll give him a little boost. he doesnt get tested by usada though
Dylan Ward
hahahahahaha
Hudson Watson
why are fighting fans so delusional it's like the sport attracts mostly low IQ fans
Nathaniel Stewart
>he doesnt get tested by usada though
You say that like USADA means anything. Drug testing is a joke, they only catch complete morons.
Dominic Gutierrez
>hahahahahaha lol
Ryder King
>usada is a joke prove it, nigger
Andrew Hughes
He looked like this before and after USADA.
Logan Cruz
Just look at guys like Yoel Romero. You trying to tell me this is a natty middle-aged man?
Josiah Kelly
Every professional athlete worth a shit is on roids. You can't compete at the top otherwise.
Nathan Cruz
Ortiz has been cleared to fight. He was taking the PEDs for high blood pressure,
apparently
Jason Russell
>PEDs automatically make you look like a bodybuilder roflol
Nolan Russell
>he thinks all roids will give him bloated muscles
This is a man on deca durabolin.
Blake Jackson
>being this retarded It's not a PED, it's a cheap BP drug. HOWEVER, it's also used as a masking agent. Forgot pic.
Owen Adams
Can you post your evidence pls.
Ian Hernandez
Yes. All professional athletes are on PEDs. This really shouldn't be news to you.
Brandon Flores
Fury is down to about 18-19 stone now
Jaxson Flores
For what, exactly?
Brandon Morris
He’s from Cuba he’s definitely taking PEDs
And is about 50
Robert Rogers
For Stipe taking PEDs.
Daniel Green
except fury was literally busted for deca use
muh "bull testicles"
Jonathan Jones
41, but yeah. He's juiced to the gills.
Austin Morales
There was a documentary on that shit. Googled it, it's called "Icarus", 2017. It pretty much shows that there are ALWAYS ways to trick the drug testing system. For the longest time, they could trick the system 90% of the time. Not sure if it's gotten worse or better, but it was REAL shit back in the day.
James Hughes
Are you two mentally handicapped? I said Fury is the one who did Deca. I forgot to post the pic in the first post.
Angel Cook
The only Natty Fighters are the Diaz Bros, DC and Michael Bisping
Austin Cruz
No, some men are just much more athletic than others
Bentley Powell
DC sure as fuck isn't natty. His (and Jones') test levels were impossibly low in their first fight. It's clear they were recovering from a cycle.
William Phillips
Amateur boxer here, I started late (20 years old) but I have good genetics and am a fast learner so I'm doing surprisingly well. However, even with my natural abilities, there's no way in hell I could make it in the pros without roids. And yes, even smaller guys like myself (welterweight) use roids, not all PEDs automatically make you bulky.
Ryder Nguyen
>Fighters get punched in the head for a living >Why are fighters and their fans low IQ
I dunno
Jaxon Hernandez
Don't lie you insinuated Stipe was on roids. Why deny it?
Charles Bailey
This is how to circumvent the system. Almost all US athletes are diagnosed with "low test" and thus are put on TRT. They are as natty as Scooby.
Cameron Gonzalez
I did, however, the deca comment was about Fury.
Jonathan Hall
No. Obviously a lot do, but you can be a pro without roids. I have 3 childhood friends that are pro athletes and would bet anything I have they are natty. There is no blanket answer to this, the level of use differs massively depending on which sport and which country the athlete is from. Problem is 99% of the opinions about pro athletes and steroids comes the powerlifting and bodybuilding community who are complete outsiders to the world of pro sports. Retards like Jason Blaha have ZERO idea of modern drug testing protocols and just make up what goes on. Yet every retard dyel believe him and think posting "Drug test? You mean IQ test!" makes them look woke.
The problem historically and still a big problem now is that many countries own drug agencies are a joke and don't test their athletes or actually work with them. So they can just look at the date of the competition and make sure they are clean by then and pass the one test they may have to take at the competition. But the rest of the year they are back home they will not be testing.
But a lot of western countries now make a sincere effort to test properly and have good programs in place. Genuine random drug tests are hard to cheat, not matter what retards like Blaha say (notice how there is never any actual details about how modern genuinely enforced testing is cheated).
Christian Parker
He literally just looks like a typical black guy after he's hit the gym for a while.
Most "dyel" black guys I grew up with are actually pretty ripped underneath and have good insertions and definition without even going to the gym.
Oliver Peterson
Literally every single top level athlete is on PED's. Thinking anything else is naive is honestly retarded. They have nations and corporations behind them, and millions are on the line every time they compete, do you actually think they give a fuck about ethics?
and yes ethics IS the only variable here, since we know that even a fucking literallywho can get his hands on PEDs and make them invisible...just imagine what a multimillionaire with droves of State-sponsored or private scientists working for him can get his hands on.
Asher Jackson
Fuck off, retard. He's 6'6 and has bodybuilder-tier arms.
Aiden Thompson
Not really
Look at Simeon Panda when he was young and natty
Noah Sanders
Truth. I know black dudes with insane arms and v-tapers and they simply don't work out
Aaron Collins
go back to cuckposting on /tv/ you nonlifting retard
Eli King
Thanks for the info man! How many hours do you train per week on average? Also do you have any tips on finding a good gym? Love Hajime no Ippo
Lincoln Nelson
>Look at Simeon Panda when he was young and natty
Middle school?
Chase Evans
99% of professional athletes are on steroids, if you have ever played a sport in your life you would know this to be the case. You simply can't train to that level and recover enough naturally. A lot of college and even high school athletes end up roiding.
Xavier Edwards
I used to live in a country where they hired African guys illegally for like $1 an hour as garbage men. These guys would literally be wearing dirt old rags as clothes yet would have shredded 18 inch arms that people on here think are impossible without being on tren. Black genetics exist, even among white people the genetic difference is big. Most people on here have shit beta genetics otherwise they would not be here in the first place. That's why the standards on here are a joke.
Nathan Allen
fuck off cuckold, basketball americans have the highest rates of steroid abuse in american high schools you don't even lift faggot, because actual natty black guys like lotus that have been lifting for close to a decade have sub 18" arms. You don't even know what 18" is because you have no experience at all faggot
Jackson Garcia
Except blacks have garbage tier genetics. They're only good for running. Whites dominate every strength sport.
Adrian Evans
I'm currently a uni student so it depends on the week, but I try to get in at least 5 training sessions a week, plus roadwork, but I need to bump my training up. As far as finding a gym goes, look up amateur tournaments in your area and see which gyms have the best ranked fighters. Also Hajime no Ippo is THE SHIT, it's what originally got me into boxing desu
Levi Ross
High school in the UK
he looks better than most DYELs on CBT in his first young picture
Exactly i knew 2 short little black guys who were just really pacey and played football/soccer growing and they would have solid fucking defined quads somehow and their biceps/shoulders had good separation people would do lateral raises and hammer curls for ages to achieve.
Adam Turner
he's natty in 2002, every picture after that is on roids african guys outside of your cuckporn are 5'8" on average with 13" arms and tiny frames
Sebastian Lewis
>he looks better than most DYELs on CBT in his first young picture The 2002 picture? He looks skinny as fuck
Benjamin Phillips
Alright, here is my take.
Black guys get bigger naturally, but white guys tend to be stronger. I am a sandnigger myself and the people here are really, really weak. Like, weaker than Veeky Forums tier.
Ayden Ramirez
C O P E
Jonathan Young
Nigga you talkin to a state champion wrestler who benches 355. And I work with a lot of basketball Americans
When young, *some* of them are insanely muscular without having to try. Fact of life.
See Taboo by John Entine & Race, Evolution, and Behavior by J.P. Rushton
Andrew Morris
I will concede that the muscle might be "for show, not for go," but it's there
Joshua Clark
Why do the people on here who are natty yet think you can't get out of dyel mode naturally even continue to lift? You might as well go do something else with your life and just lift once a week for health benefits.
Brandon Murphy
it's literally all an illusion of their smaller frames. With that said, it's a disgrace this thread turned into racebaiting again - both guys in the OP are juicing, regardless of race
Isaiah Richardson
Well yeah, there is a genetic reason to do with their muscle fibers why blacks dominate the running track events in the olympics, documentaries and research has been done on this which is why when a white french guy made the finals a few years ago it was a big deal.
Nordic/slavic whites mainly dominate raw strength events though. Chinks dominate reaction sports like table tennis and some fencing etc
Robert Campbell
No, he doesn't. And you're forgetting AJ has 6 inches on him.
Wyatt Brooks
It's helped because they have a "natural tan" i.e black which is what bodybuilders do to make themselves more aesthetic
Isaac Cruz
Look at some young pictures of AJ as well he's just got that general mass going for him. If he wasn't boxing he would be even bigger.
I don't doubt he's taken PEDs but he's always been a big guy and obviously has some top genetics
Jack Lee
>People judging athlete's PED use by their physique
They aren't bodybuilders. This woman used steroids, as do almost all of those skelly marathon runners. Most pro athletes use steroids for recovery time at the very least.
Xavier Hall
I feel like the smaller weight class fighters don't roid. For size and strength anyway
