In the end Zinc is necessary for the production of testosteron. When sporting you sweat out a fuckton so your testosteron levels will lower if you dont take zinc afterwards, which a lot of people dont.

Did people forget about zinc? I've taken a break from browsing Veeky Forums, but I remember it being recommended in almost every supplement thread.

I've taken zinc and magnesium supplements every day for a few months. But, only 25 milligrams because I want to avoid the copper deficiency that can result.

I've noticed some better sleep quality, more endurance, and higher semen volume.

This is 3mg of zinc SULFATE, not ELEMENTAL zinc. The nutrition labels on vitamins 99% of the time are in a mineral's elemental weight. Meaning it will say zinc 50mg (as zinc sulfate). Which would be something like 300+ mg of zinc sulfate to equate the 50mg on zinc on the label. Each binding salt weighs a different amount so idk how much zinc sulfate is in a 50mg zinc tab just know that this study isnt going by zinc dosing by itself.

Dont dose based on the elemental label guys, you will fucking die...

Duh, Vitamin D comes first but Zinc always comes right after when people recommend supplementing micro nutrients.

Yeah, it's real. But it only really gets such a dramatic difference in people who already had a zinc deficiency. Zinc is necessary for actually making testosterone in your body and for your body doing shit, so it's important. Still helps to supplement it if you're not sure, but don't be surprised if you don't feel 40% better. It's not a miracle drug, just a supplement that is quite handy.


That being said, exceeding the amount of zinc's recommended daily intake can cause problems of it's own, so don't be like that retarded user a year ago who took like 50mg daily for a while.


Guys, it's fucking zinc. It's not a meme. It's not eating onions. It's not up for debate; if you don't get enough zinc, your body will do better when you do get enough zinc. Do what you will with this information. Making sure you get enough meat and eggs will do the same thing as supplementing.
