leg press was the first actual 'weight lifting' exercise i ever did in my school gym back in 2009 been doing it ever since hearing no end of how its a meme etc. People follow trends and don't workout for themselves. Not to say Veeky Forums hasn't given me heaps of advice that's great, but this shit about running from leg press makes me feel even better.

Secondly, deadlifts help muscles in both the upper and lower body, paving the way for those muscles to assist in bigger lifts on other exercises. If you really want a muscular, aesthetic look, you should be focusing on everything. Why cheat yourself out of an exercise if it’s accessible with the membership price you paid? You’re willingly giving up gains because of a meme.

Well statistically you aren't. These are all relative terms. Also attractiveness can be very objective. There are plenty of ways to quantify it. Symmetry, proportions, etc. Individual preferences can change but having perfect skin is objectively more attractive than acne ridden skin.
