Tests of strength have always been around, it's part of western culture, we're fascinated by it, strength is the most impressive and important physical attribute.

Moving events generally. But I think his strategy is just to kill one event and not worry so much about the rest. Might be because he knows he'll bomb at deadlift (although I hear he got that taken care of, he had some kind of assymetry or something)

This year he destroyed natural stone to shoulder, last year at WSM he took the plane pull by a large margin while being the lightest guy, which is pretty impressive. I really like MK. more so than Martins "Gay for Pay" Licis.

At the arnold classic going on right now he put shaw and mountain to shame in the stone lift. No one was even close to him.

Kieleszkowski might gonna be the next big name in strongman. Its absolutely amazing how he won the plane pull in 2017. Plane pull usually favors heavier guys but he smoked everyone.
I have to admit that strongman as a sport is really exciting right now, huge number of amazing athletes competing and you can never know for sure when something surprising is gonna happen.
We also have to look out for Martins Licis, he is also young and lighter but still has brutal static strength (deadlift and squat) and great flexibility. He gay tho.
The big old names still are doin great imo.
All in all this is the toughest competition ever in strongman.

Martins Licis lost function in one of his arm for like months.
Brian Shaw had multiple hamstrings injuries.

He is the evolution of mariusz. He has the moving events/athleticism AND he's also strong enough to compete in heavier shows like the arnolds.
Mariusz was never *that* strong. He finished 8th or something at the arnolds. His strength was never on par with guys like big Z or the current competitors. He was still stronger than 99.99% of serious lifters though, but he was more of an endurance/speed type of guy (relative to the average strongman competitor)
