nope, they are an useless as shit muscle unless you are a turbonigga running from the cops or a deadlift lord

Low quality b8

Hamstrings help your legs look thicc and better develop, and also make sure you don't develop postural problems.

>wanting tree-trunk thighs

You've been brainwashed by SS. Hamstring development will only make you look worse. At least your quads actually look neat when you flex them.

They really don't. The only reason I train hamstrings is b/c I play Rugby during the winter and anybody who has ever pulled a hamstring playing sports will know the fear that drives me to deadlift

If you don't train them and your quads become overly dominant you'll compromise the integrity of your knees which will fuck you up.

structural balance is an important part of injury prevention
also good for not winding up with a weird looking physique

Makes sure you don't fugg ur knees

pulling a hamstring during diddly is often caused by wront foot position, lack of rooting feet into ground

I think user is deadlifting to avoid future pulled hamstrings.
>the fear [of pulled hamstrings] that drives me to deadlift [a lot more than I usually would]
