When I overhead press or just punch towards the ceiling my left shoulder snaps and pops every time But my right one doesn't. Is this a cause for alarm? Should I not OHP?

shoulder cancer
check with a doctor or a physio
Don't have one :(
are you an amerimutt?
Yup
that sucks, there's no charities or things like that where a doctor would check you for free? i guess it's kind of complicated because normal doctors don't know shit about muscles and bones and they'll just tell you to rest, so you would need a physio guy or an specialist doctor instead
Bump
Doctors aren't like Veeky Forums janitors lol
SAME FUCKING PROBLEM
bump
the body is complicated, a general practitioner will only tell you to rest or to take anti-inflammatory pills and send you to a specialist, he won't tell you how to fix your shoulder
Is there pain associated? If its the same sound as when you crack your knuckles then youre okay.
You shouldn't barbell OHP in general, you're going to fuck up your shoulders.
DB OHP for volume.
All shoulder exercises for volume.
At least 4x10
Shoulders aren't meant to withstand heavy loads (unlike the fags that tell you to 3x5 or whatever)
>tells you general crap
>doesn't direct you to a proper specialist
It's like I've jumped into an alternate dimension.
What lmfao
What about barbell squat user
what about barbell crunches?
>Should I not OHP
Yes you fool.
What?
XD
>1) Does it hurt?
>2) How far behind your head can your left arm go?
>3) Is it equal to the distance your right arm can go?
If it doesnt hurt it's most likely a mobility issue/ adhesion buildup. Look into MFR techniques you can perform by yourself.
Otherwise go see a PT.
