>Tfw just hit 165 on OHP for 1 rep max
WTF bruh, are you a 10 year old girl or are you in pain?

thats including the bar, right??

i'm using the EZ curl bar to OHP. too weak to OHP a 45lbs olympic barbell

no way man. youve gotta be Auschwitz mode. eat everything you can to bulk

eat more you dumb fag

Attached: zG9yD4W.jpg (960x719, 204K)

user thats roughly 5.6kg. How can you not do more than 5.6kg on OHP? How? That's starting weight wtf.

Attached: ew.jpg (819x541, 47K)

OP listen to me very carefully, you need to EAT!!!! Consume as much calories and food as you possibly can, it's the only way you'll be able to build muscle in your current state. Eat and keep lifting, you'll make it

im fucking trying you assholes i literally cant press the bar over my head for 1 rep

Attached: serveimage.png (1070x601, 507K)

Well counting the bar it's 70lbs. I can do 15+15+the bar for one set of but then I get tired and can't do the other 2. I'm 140 lbs 5'9" and eating a bunch and bulking currently at like 2900 cals. My squat and deadlift are ok tho

I don't wanna over do it and look like a fat fuck tho

OP here, yeah including the bar, 12.5 on each side.

5.6kg is not starting weight, a 5 year old could ohp that

Assuming this isn't the lowest effort bait ever, you count everything stupid. Imagine if you put the bar and all the weight loaded on it on a god damn scale, that's how much you're lifting.

It's ok dude. When I first started ohp I could barely do the bar and I'd get real bad shoulder pain after. So my recommendation is try doing more volume of weight that you can do. Take some 10s or what ever is manageable for you and do like 4 sets of 10. I did this until I was able to do the bar the.ln i started doing 5x5 gl kiddo

then why do ppl call it it a 2pl8 bench when it's actually 225?

a plate is different. It's called that to simplify it, but if you were to state it in the terms that you were using, i.e. pounds, then a one plate bench = 135 lbs

Oh damn. Well I've been stuck on the 70lb OHP

Saying pl8 numbers is common nomenclature because everyone knows the total weight associated with each corresponding pl8s 1=135 2=225 3=315 4=405 5=495...

Dude everyone has weaknesses and everyone starts somewhere. You got weak shoulders, you know it now fix it.

Start doing seated db presses. Strict form don't arch your back and turn it into a chest press. And tons of accessory work. Upright rows, lateral raises, rear delt flies.

Are you skelly mode or weakfat?

If i lift 10kg each side of the bench and the bar weighs 11kg should i say i do a 15kg bench?

Everyone just says the number of plates on one side because you have to balance them you fucking autist.

>10+10+11=15???

Not sure if low level bait or actual retard

But i don't even lift a single fucking plate you fuckhead. I'm not the one the dude first quoted. I know why you should name it 1pl8 for 135 but should i say half a pl8 then?

>(10+10+11) / 2

That's 31kg from what you described.

i'm 187lb and my 1rm is 220lb

just letting you guys know

45171450
t-thanks guys. i'm super skellington. i weigh 50kg but i'm 6 feet tall

Well i think you answered it for me. That's iy then, i'll be referring the whole weight from now on

Unless you lift the exact pl8 number or you're making a general assumption
>DYEL unless 10pl8 bench Xd
Then I usually just say the total weight lifted. "I bench 31kg"

>including
That would be "excluding" based on context.
Is this a b8 thread?

I meant excluding

Thanks.

this is quite literally embarrassing
good thing this is anonymous

olympic bars are a bitch, i feel you fellow dyel

How are you even alive. No human is so weak that they can OHP 12,5lb, it's something you should have done at some point in your life

I was at that point once, too, young autist. Granted, I was in middle school, and I still got a lot of shit for it. Don't give up though

Jesus... I was never even this weak and I started out Auschwitz mode

Why are you fags pretending to be strong on the internet?
You are average op dont listen to them

>stalled at 93 kg for 6 months
>tested max yesterday and couldn't go over 90
KILLL MEEEEEEE

Eat more and Deload 10%. You'll get there brah. We're all gonna make it

My 100 lbs girlfriend who has now worked out for 3 months can press the olympic barbell for reps.

12,5 lbs means you can press 6,25 lbs per arm. That is around 3 kg, or 3 litres of milk. A typical gymgoer should be able to press twice what he can curl, maybe a bit less. Meaning you can curl about 1,5 - 2 kg, or a large carton of milk.

You are telling us you can even fucking lift a gallon of milk, and would get exhausted from pouring a glass of fucking milk from a 2 litres milk carton.

Unless you have some muscle degenerative disease, you are either lying or a very small 5 year old child.

do it with dumbbells then

Are you the same guy who thought he didnt have to eat on GOMAD?

>user, can you help me carry the groceries?
>Yes, its probably more than 6 lbs per hand, why do you ask

Attached: grocerybag.jpg (350x350, 24K)

That and so it's multinational the weight of the plates stays the same people don't have to convert it if you just say plates.

No fucking way. I don't believe this at all. I'm skellymode, 6'1 130lbs, weak as shit and I do 6-8 reps of 85lbs OHP. I refuse to accept that you aren't trolling

I know you've probably heard this a ton but seriously eat more. I was auschwitz mode too when I started and while you'll make gains just working out and not really eating that much more you'll stall really quick. Train yourself to eat more, you'll be happy you did in a few years.

>tfw you can't even press the bar
