I had a similar experience. I was a hardcore INTJ antisocial autist but I got a job directing subsea construction jobs on a ship and I'm now a full blown ENTJ.

how do you get a job like that

I studied ocean engineering and had a couple internships relating to offshore construction and did a few robotics projects/was a NITROX diver (helped since we use ROVs and SAT divers).
The industry is slowly picking back up so it might be a good time to try to get in. It's a shitty job though unless you like always being offshore, I quit to get a masters in aerospace.
