Dear Sir/Madam

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please could you pass the following on to the design team:

A Rebalance of Power:

While I do not want Chaos Space Marines to perfectly mirror Space Marines, I do think that there is a desperate need to tweak CSM in order to claw them back to parity. What must be remembered is first and foremost is that CSM are after all Space Marines, the majority survivors from the Horus Heresy era. Therefore they should have rules and options to better reflect this.

Here are some steps that will go a long way towards achieving this goal:
Artificer Armour/Flesh Metal Armour: CSM have been fighting since the Horus Heresy, surely they would have kept all suits of Artificer Armour that they had as highly prized items similar to Terminator Armour. All Characters, including Sgt types should have access to this or Flesh metal armour as an option.

Chaos Raptors: Similar to Chaos Bikers if your warlord takes the option of a jump pack then Chaos Raptors should become troops.

Chaos Terminators: Similar to Chaos Bikers if your warlord takes the option of Terminator Armour then Chaos Terminators should become troops.

Special Weapons: the rules for special weapons in squads currently state 1 per squad, unless the squad is 10 or more when they can take a second. This should be tweaked to be 1 in 5 for all squad types. Grav Weapons should remain unique to the loyalists.

Drop Pods: I'm not 100% convinced with these as an option but they do feature in the novels as being available to CSM warbands. Surely if they where to feature then a premium must be paid, for example increase the points cost to 50 per pod. I'd envisage these being available for all units that can take a Rhino as a dedicated transport.

CSMfags are beyond pathetic

>CSMfags are beyond pathetic

says the guys that's so butthurt about some fanwank on a garbage blog, he had to post it on an anonymous image board.

I'm a CSM fag and even I think this is pretty lame. He is literally asking for them to mirror SM, in addition to shit SM don't get like Assault Marine or Termie troops. Its just silly.

The way to make CSM good is to make their unique options more efficient for their points and to make getting to close combat less of a chore.

>What must be remembered is first and foremost is that CSM are after all Space Marines, the majority survivors from the Horus Heresy era.
Are you delusional?

>Oh no, someone had an opinion I don't like! I know what to do! I'll go on Veeky Forums and call him a fag!
>Ahahahah! Brilliant!

Seriously OP? Go take a walk and think how you're spending your time.

Shit like this makes me wish saging was still a thing.

It is still a thing, retard.

Found one of the CSMfags. Don't be surprised people start complaining about your autism when you keep smearing diarrhea all over the walls.

>CSMfags are beyond pathetic
Sorry for wanting an update to a bottom tier 4 year old codex that most likely won't get an update this edition that makes them viable in comparison to other armies

haven't touched tabletop 40k since 4th ed so i don't really care what the rules look like. 3ed chaos dex was pretty fun though.

>implying i dont like the imperium as well

Y'all need to chill. While what some random user did on the internet was pretty dumb and poorly thought-out, I get where he's coming from. Codex: CSM was an unpolished Codex when it came out, and it only got worse with age. It's been completely left behind by all but the Orks codex (and maybe Dark Eldar).

There's nothing wrong with trying to homebrew a fix to something that GW hasn't given the effort into fixing (though that appears to be changing).

A good example of a fandex that works well overall is pic related. Makes some much-needed unit adjustments, adds unique Chaos weapons, adds Specialist Ammunition, Legion/Warband tactics, and all other sorts of goodies that really diversify your options with CSM and incentive running fun fluffy lists.

Sending your wishlist and fandex to GW is the height of autism. If I were a GW employee I sure wouldn't appreciate idiots sending me shit that's never going to happen, especially if he ends up having to do anything more than throwing it in the garbage.

>Sending your wishlist and fandex to GW is the height of autism.

Absolutely. Not denying that. Still, people are pissed, so it's not surprising that people get desperate about it.

>someone on the internet whines about the worst army being the worst
>better go on a different website to call him a fag

>someone on the internet whines
>better call him a fag

Sounds right to me. Replace your razor blade Occam.

>someone on the internet whines
>whine about him whining

>whining about a whiner whining

That just makes you even worse.

yes, you have just described yourself. What was your point? has playing CSM for too long made you stupid?

I work for a AAA video game company. I personally get fan suggestions ALL THE TIME and I dismiss them out of hand. I avoid reading them if I can and I've never passed anything on.

Part of it too is if we start reading unsolicited shit we're opening ourselves up to lawsuits down the road. Mostly the stuff is just retarded though.

When people start including their own homebrewed rule fanwank tables and shit is when I stop paying attention.

But no, seriously, does anyone have any idea when anyone should even start to expect a new CSM codex?

>If my boss takes x then x should be troops

Every time.
