so as the original thread got hijacked by people discussing how strong Eldar can be and the shape of Tau feet... which is fine but doesnt answer the original question so... i guess i'll start a new thread and hope for the best.
so what are the physical differences of humans and Eldar? (excluding physical strength, psychic abilities, culture, lack of hats, and pointy ears.)
Black eyes, they are depicted as having black eyes in most GW art.
Luke Lewis
based on the other thread this is actually up in the air due to multiple canon sources contradicting this
Owen Brooks
Why would we discuss this now 40k has been going on for decades and no we talk about the power levels of humans and eldar?
I think you didnt get your answer since no one cares
Ian Rogers
no everybody got distracted. also i am relatively new the WH40k (sort of) and so far everything contradicts themselves from what i can tell on what they look like and how similar they are to humans.
Brandon Nelson
Eldar are taller, with slanted eyes, and longer limbs. They have more pointed facial features, and are inhumanly quick and graceful, with a metabolism twice as fast as a normal humans.
Gabriel Reed
If your new here is a thing you should know
It depends on the fucking writers
They are more prominent psykers than humans
Jacob Davis
finally some thing that answers the question to some extent. thank you good sir.
Hudson Barnes
yeah i got that impression from the Veeky Forums wiki
Jason Hall
That was said in the last thread.
James Mitchell
I want the old thread link, tell me about Tau feet. Once you go berry, you never go back to olives
Aiden Rogers
i stopped paying attention after Silverback Gorillas got involved
Luke Jackson
Are you seriously waiting to be spoon fed answers by Veeky Forums without going to any cannon source yourself or reading the fucking books describing the setting?
Benjamin Wright
no i have gone to canon sources. i read through the wiki pages both the tg and official one.
Austin Ward
Some people have brought up eye color, so I will say that in one of the Path of the Eldar books, the female farseer changes her eye color to match her outfit, so it stands to reason that all Eldar are capable of this with their tech. Dark Eldar probably prefer pitch black eyes to appear more frightening.
Jack Lopez
+1 for fast metabolism. I recall even their non-combatants being terrifying by human standards - being twice as fast, strong and dexterous on average doesn't make you twice as dangerous, more like 8X.
Thomas Barnes
It's two long bait threads. Of course he's asking for repeats.
Christian Barnes
they shit crystals
David Lee
No just an honest question... I had no idea it would cause such a strange debate that wouldn't answer a harmless question. I only started a second to try again and hope for the best. So far this thread has stuck to the topic.
Yeah i heard of that. What the hell is up with that? They eat fruit and vegetables though. They must have one weird metabolism.
Jacob Gonzalez
Most things in 40k don't make any biological sense, so don't worry about it. Eldar eat meat as well, Eldrad just didn't want to eat the meat during the meeting.
The black eyes may have something to do with their dark vision, too.
Gabriel Moore
They are basically better than humans in every physical and biological aspect. They are superhuman creatures.
Oliver Turner
how do I get an eldar waifu? Will she make fun of my scars? >t. commissar bern
Tyler Carter
>she will >life is suffering
Gavin Cox
>how do I get an eldar waifu? You don't. They wouldn't want to touch a filthy mon'keigh and it's heresy from your side. All waifufags need to end themselves.
Aiden Robinson
You first :^)
William Nguyen
This would only work if I also stated to be a waifufag.
Isaac Clark
no. >tfw
Carson Phillips
they all want the BHC
Landon Flores
>trying to rape an alien that can either ripp your dick off faster than you can see or melt your brain with psychic powers >implying humans have bigger dicks when Eldar are taller >implying it isn't the Eldar that do most of the raping
Christopher Sanders
Are there any documented sexual relationships between Eldar and Human in official lore? (Including pre-imperial era, dark age of technology etc..)
Gavin Kelly
>inb4 Spock
Ayden King
Rogue Trader is official so there.
In more recent fluff one Eldar Farseer briefly entertained thoughts of human men having wars of lust over her so the idea at least is not alien.
Jonathan Barnes
Outside of rogue trader era shit, that is over 20 years old, and has not been referenced since, no.
GW has wisely not brought that retardation up ever since.
Parker Cook
That little piece of lore isn't only outdaeted when it comes to half-eldar. The whole setting has changed a lot since then.
>In more recent fluff one Eldar Farseer briefly entertained thoughts of human men having wars of lust over Doesn't mean she wants the filthy mon'keigh dick anywhere near her.
Liam Ramirez
>Doesn't mean she wants the filthy mon'keigh dick anywhere near her.
Vect surrounds himself with human ladyslaves.
Dominic Ward
Doesn't mean she doesn't either. Sexual liaisons with lower orders are known perversions to all sentient beings and Eldar are as degenerate as they come.
Hunter Gomez
There are so many reasons for them to be there, especially since Vect is way past the point of simply fucking some humans to sustain himself.
>Eldar are as degenerate as they come Yeah, especially the Craftworlders, that makes total sense.
Asher Nguyen
Dark Eldar have black eyes, Craftworlders change the colour all the time, same with hair and their magic combs.
Exodites, no clue.
Isaiah Richardson
>Yeah, especially the Craftworlders, that makes total sense. >puritans aren't the most perverted of them all. why do you think pakistan leads the world in searching for goat and camel sex?
Brayden Cruz
Because Allah doesn't eat their soul when they start wanking too much.
Jose Clark
>implying he doesn't.
Eldar are pretty trashy. It wouldn't be surprising if part of them want to literally hump everything they see, and they have to actively check that with their minds.
Easton Cruz
is this rogue trader era?
Angel Cook
Yes.
Grayson Garcia
>Craftworlders change the colour all the time, same with hair and their magic combs. sauce?
Tyler Price
Path of the Eldar series. More specifically Path of the Seer. Thirianna changes her hair and eye colour regularly and her mentor has a purple and yellow eye when he isn;t going full witchlight.
Ryan Wood
An hero yourself you filthy heretic.
Eli Taylor
Found the boy buggering priest. I remember her changing her hair color, but I didn't find it to be weird. I totally forgot her eye color though. Maybe they just use contacts.
Nathaniel Gutierrez
Look up an elf, now place that elf in space. There is your answer.
Gavin Morgan
so, why does GW shy away from waifus?
Joshua Myers
just read the shitty erotica of that pic, it was awful. you could interchange a human woman in and it would be the same, no effort seemingly made to distinguish the difference between a human female and an eldar female. eldar, ancient, calm but intense, aloof and otherworldy
the eldar woman being raped should've just stared with coldly neutral eyes at her rapists, not made a noise, not have said 'pig', at most maybe say 'mon keigh' as an epithet. her behaviour should have been almost insectoid, an uncanny valley experience where the reactions of rape on a human woman would be delirious and hyper emotional, crying, begging, an eldar woman would be silent but exuding such an intensely void-icy aura it would probably be deeply uncomfortable for a human to even attempt to rut.
Sebastian Fisher
Welcome to 99% of all elf-porn, in which the pointy ears have absolutely no significance on the action and people still eat it up.
Jace Fisher
Go on.
Dominic Turner
FUCK YOU ALL LOVE CAN BLOOM.
Jaxon Phillips
Because 40k is about manly people doing manly things. Even the girls are manly and any named female can kick your teeth in before you can do anything.
But if these are the kinds of waifus you like then more power to you.
However, GW might get desperate enough to through some Waifus in. I am willing to bet it helped Overwatch sales so its possible.
Cooper Thompson
I almost got boner from your description, anyway how does eldar-eldar sex looks like?
Jackson Cox
It's done through a hole in a bedsheet with both partners trying to not get into it too much.
Grayson Powell
sole purpose of procreation.
Daniel Martinez
I know those are jokes, but there isn't anything suggesting that Eldar can't have fun.
Aiden Green
sisters were hot.
also >overwatch >influencing anything.
Jonathan Jones
too much fun gets them autoblammed.
BL can't write decent love scenes anyway, since teenagers find it icky.
Ryan Moore
They probably enjoy it, but still feel very ashamed when doing it, seeing as Eldar are thought to be very careful with their emotions.
Joshua Gray
What is even the problem with Eldar Human relations, its pretty clear 40K was born as simple fantasy in space but the amount of detail and grim darkness is already enough.
I am not fan of waifuism but I like the mystery behind possible Human Eldar love, the thing is I dont want to know, even if it is possible it will before anything happens end in tragedy for both races.
Carter Thomas
Eldar only look human, they have very different insides.
Henry Taylor
What do you mean by overwatch influencing anything?
Elijah Wood
>too much fun gets them autoblammed You have Eldar getting bored with the Crawftworld style of life and doing fun things for fun without them getting nommed by Slaanesh immediately. Usually pirates and rangers.
Sebastian Lopez
Overwatch is by Blizzard and GW loves to steal from Blizzard
>sisters were hot No, Sisters are hot now. They WERE like this
Noah Rodriguez
Overwatch itself is influenced heavily by popular culture of this and somewhat of the last decade, and a lot of comic book stuff that metzen loved.
GW is the company that is proud to admit that they do no market research. Knowing them, they are going to make the eldar into the thinmen or sectoids.
Jayden Diaz
Rogue Trader era was best era. Now everyone takes the bullshit REAL seriously despite it being far stupider and more ridiculous then most other existing scifi settings (which is REALLY saying something) and tries to assuage their knowledge of how stupid it is by creating 40k vs Whatever threads, the same way Capcom execs deal with their inability to make new games by making Street Fighter vs Whatever games.
Matthew Rogers
...
Evan Sanders
>GW loves to steal from Blizzard o-ok. I am sorry samwise didier. please don't ban my sc2 account.
Justin Lee
>eldar and humans can't fuck each other they're too alien! >yes they can they're elves and they're hot obviously! >no humans find them creepy and weird they look like ayy lmaos! >no humans find them pretty and graceful they look like elves! >no you are waifufaggots and you deserve to die! >no you are grognards and deserve to die!
Ladies, please. This argument has been repeated a million times over.
40K is a big setting and almost everything has probably happened in it. Eldar probably look pretty different from one another in different craftworlds, due to millions of years of not divergent adaptation, so all interpretations shown in GW art are probably valid. Some Eldar find humans uncannily similar to themselves to the point where killing them creeps them out a bit, as shown in the Path novels, whereas other Eldar have nothing but callous disregard for them.
Again, 40K is big, and there are a lot of different Eldar with different traditions and cultures. They're not a monoculture, and neither is humanity - even Imperial humanity can be vastly different based on geographical location. There are fucking ogryns and cat people. It's all canon.
Colton Lee
So, there is a possibility of an elf waifu? even if remote?
Ian Flores
Eldar men secretly have bigger and better dicks than humans, this is why male humans are so jealous about them.
Alexander Ortiz
Yes.
Owen Turner
No.
Never give the waifufags an inch. They ruin everything.
Logan Ross
>most other existing scifi settings
Such as?
Jackson Martinez
And why so many radical Ordos Xenos Inquisitors take them into their retinues.
Camden Foster
>this is what they tell themselves at night while sleeping in their cuck aspect shrine. Starcraft for instance. Jim dreamt the entire expansion. His waifu died, killed by his best bro to save him.
Blake Roberts
>spoilers What?
Jacob Bell
He's memeing because he doesn't like SC2's plot.
Isaac Sanders
It makes sense from a Deranged Jim's perspective. His waifu was literally the universe to him, so if she died, the universe died with her, and she became a giant fire angel who went up in the sky.
Then they go away together. Lets face it. Jimmy put a bullet to his skull.
Nathan Miller
I'm 5 and I have no knowledge of the SC2 plot. Please help
Ethan Bell
>gritty political drama and backstabbing that would be in place in a 40k storyline. >second one is mid life blizzard devs fixing their life problems with liberal applications of plot power.
Jack Barnes
Basically interspecies elf-on-human sex is like beastiality. It should have an inherent wrongness about it.
Sebastian Long
Wouldn't stop some of them.
Luke Foster
40K is anything goes: the setting.
Even happy endings happen occasionally. Ciaphas Cain, etc.
It's also important remember that it's essentially pulp fantasy in space we're dealing with here. No matter how grimdark the setting is, specific narrative overrules everything else. If a 40K story is a dark horror in tone then it will probably have capricious, alien eldar who are inhuman in every way. If a 40K story is a satirical, pulpy space adventure then it will probably have spess elf eldar and they'll probably be super sexy. It's all valid, just as Ciaphas Cain's Space Blackadder stories and Ravenor's dark intrigue are equally canonical.
Luis Jackson
>40K is anything goes: the setting Well, female orks are real then, I guess.
Jaxson Evans
They'd have to be if regular orks are supposed to be male.
Jordan Lee
They used to be in Rogue Trader days.
Now Orks have no genders
William Russell
pretty much this.
Jose Brown
And thank goodness for that, they work much better as beasts that spawn from the fungus spores they give off.
Jace Young
>40K is anything goes: the setting.
I wish people would stop repeating this shit. It's actually quite a rigid setting. Suggest female space marines or chaos sisters and see the shitstorm that will ensue.
Michael Wright
>They used to be in Rogue Trader days And these days are long gone.
Benjamin Campbell
and eldar work better as elf waifus in space.
Daniel Johnson
Yeah path of the eldar
Exodites most often described with brown eyes in path of the Eldar iirc. Also described as shorter and more stocky than craftworld Eldar.
Carter Hernandez
What a disgusting opinion.
Joshua Garcia
They actually pork quite a lot in the books. They just don't make babies because supposedly for that you need to pork over and over again with the same person for years.
