no i have gone to canon sources. i read through the wiki pages both the tg and official one.

Some people have brought up eye color, so I will say that in one of the Path of the Eldar books, the female farseer changes her eye color to match her outfit, so it stands to reason that all Eldar are capable of this with their tech. Dark Eldar probably prefer pitch black eyes to appear more frightening.

+1 for fast metabolism. I recall even their non-combatants being terrifying by human standards - being twice as fast, strong and dexterous on average doesn't make you twice as dangerous, more like 8X.

Most things in 40k don't make any biological sense, so don't worry about it. Eldar eat meat as well, Eldrad just didn't want to eat the meat during the meeting.
