Im not big into Gaurdsmen lore, but i remember reading about a regiment that is exclusively military orphans.
Brandon Perez
>Are Imperial Guardsmen allowed to have sex?
Depends on the regiment and its homeworld, and the culture there, and any regulations the regimental command staff see fit to enforce (within reason - the Commissariat has a purpose, after all).
>If not, what happens if they're caught having sex while deployed?
See above.
>Are husbands and wives allowed to fight together if they are both conscripted into the Imperial Guard?
See above.
>Are female recruits/conscripts ever abused/harassed by their officers?
See above.
>What are the chances of joining the imperial guard then going on to life a long happy life in a comfy planet with a beautiful family?
See above.
Also depends on when or if they muster out on a planet they've conquered. Chances are low, but there.
>What happens if a female imperial guard is found to be pregnant? Is she forced to have an abortion? Is the baby taken away and raised in a military institution?
See above. Some children are raised as camp followers and eventually join the regiment.
>What happens if an imperial guardsman is caught raping a humanoid aliens? On the one hand he's punishing alien scum but on the other he is deriving pleasure from their bodies.
Field execution for getting off on xenos filth.
Tyler Phillips
Yes. It's impossible to stop anyway, so why try. She's removed from duty once the pregnancy progresses to the point where it impedes combat effectiveness. The child is drafted immediately. Many regiments encourage child making as a means of offsetting campaign casualties. Yes. They Imperium doesn't care enough to keep track of such things. Husband or wife, son or daughter, they're all meat in the grinder. There's untold billions of Guard out there. Logic dictates that even if the Imperium did all they could to prevent abuse (and they sure fucking DON'T), millions would be abused anyway. An alien? Public flogging followed by execution in the most painful method available. No mercy for heretics who taint themselves with xeno filth. Nil. Best case scenario, they get settlement rights over a freshly conquered world. Pioneering isn't comfy or clean.
Jason Peterson
>Are imperial guardsmen allowed to have sex?
Sane bet would be yes. There would be units and regiments that forbid it, but I doubt that would be the norm. Chem-gelding is a thing, but it's not standard practice for every guardsmen. There are whole brothels that operate by following around guardsmen regiments.
>If not what happens if they're caught having sex while deployed?
Issue for disciplinary action from their commanding officer, potentially the Commissariat if bad shit happened because of it.
>What happens if a female imperial guard is found to be pregnant? Is she forced to have an abortion? Is the baby taken away and raised in a military institution?
Tricky situation. Could go a number of ways, none of them good. If it was a good regiment, she might find herself on light duties with the child raised by the regiment's civilian train. A bad regiment could just execute her.
>Are husbands and wives allowed to fight together if they are both conscripted into the imperial guard?
It does happen. It's probably bad for morale to put them in the same unit. Same thing with brothers/sisters/family.
>Are female recruits/conscripts ever abused/harassed by their officers?
There are instances of it in the lore, yes. But like in real life, it's usually the bad ones that do it.
>What happens if an imperial guardsman is caught raping a humanoid aliens? On the one hand he's punishing alien scum but on the other he is deriving pleasure from their bodies.
Probably summary execution if he's the only one doing it. If the whole regiment is practicing it then command might turn a blind eye. Or they might push them into the meat grinder.
>What are the chances of joining the imperial guard then going on to life a long happy life in a comfy planet with a beautiful family?
Depends on your regiment. There's certainly a lot of instances of retired veteran guardsmen in the lore, but how do they fair as a percentage of all guardsmen at the time? Probably pretty low.

This is what happens when a setting more-or-less runs on Your Dudes.
tl;dr Make some shit up, OP.

1. Maybe 2. Maybe 3. Maybe 4. Maybe 5. Maybe 6. That's a BLAMming at the least. 7. Maybe. If they're lucky they get to retire on a planet they've conquered and become new nobles. If they're unlucky...
There is a pleasure world that only the Imperial Guard Veterans whom are unable to continue fighting are sent to as a reward for their service.
Said pleasure world produces a disturbingly odd amount of Servitors.
Christian Hughes
We had an entire quest dedicated to most of these questions.
Usually, depends on regiment As long as not on duty Depends on regiment Rare for bi gendered regiments to exist Prolly. Happens to both genders in mpst armies kek Defiling his/her own flesh. Blam 20/80. Odds are if you live past ypur forst campaign you will end up retired somewhere that needs better/more gene stock.
Brandon Richardson

I don't know where all you fuckers come from, but you're all glorious bastards.
Thanks for reminding me of those great threads.
Brody Bell
>Are imperial guardsmen allowed to have sex?
Yes, only during their free time though.
>If not what happens if they're caught having sex while deployed?
If caught while doing active duties, expect penal regiment assignment at minimum, potentially summary execution depending on who finds you / the degree of dereliction of duty.
>What happens if a female imperial guard is found to be pregnant? Is she forced to have an abortion? Is the baby taken away and raised in a military institution?
The female guardsmen is likely moved to non-combatants status and placed in a role that she can perform eggs secretary, quarter master, cook, medical assistant. Armies run on the scores of non-combatants supporting front line troops.
>Are husbands and wives allowed to fight together if they are both conscripted into the imperial guard?
Depending on how a planet recruits its members, yes or no.
>Are female recruits/conscripts ever abused/harassed by their officers?
It's the grim dark where you can be executed for refusing simple commands, so more than likely Thierry are more than a few douche nozzles using this as bribery enough to get sexual favors.
Eg bend over and take it or get blammed and I'll fill out the forms with dereliction of duty.
>What happens if an imperial guardsman is caught raping a humanoid aliens? On the one hand he's punishing alien scum but on the other he is deriving pleasure from their bodies.
More than likely a blamming, less severe punishments involve penal regiment status; enjoy your even shorter life.

Yep. Is Papa-N still around? I need more harem spank, outright hilarity, and BY THE EMPEROR THIS RAEP TRAIN HAS NO BRAKES!!

I remember a lot of those threads from lurking.
Who ever archived them is a saint.
Good times.

Last I ever heard from him was the end of Gen A. I think he started Z&W against for like two threads then vanished again, presumably to hunt iguanas for meat.

Can... can we do it again? I mean, if we could hit gold like this somehow, it could possibly revive /qst/
We'd need some sick fuck to be the QM... someone who could truly pull shit like Papa-N did.

So, an octillion, then ten trillion?
Considering there are billions of guardsmen at any given time, it would take around a century before one of them could retire with an ugly family on a peaceful world.
With a beautiful family. . . well, that would only happen once in tens of thousands of years, meaning there's probably only one man in the history of the Imperial Guard whose been able to do that.
Easton Campbell
What's replacing it? First I'm hearing of it.
Kevin Ward
>ugly >beautiful
Again, what are you implying, shitlord?
Thomas Taylor
Well as wife who isn't a bitch versus one that is you Muppet.
Take your idea of a beautiful family and then add all the problems of average life not just a couple but all of them.
Nagging wife Who is ugly as sin Children that hate you that will never amount to anything
That is an ugly family aka your existence
Nathaniel Morris
OK maybe the numbers are that bad... but the likelihood of it happening are pretty insignificant.
Probably more like 1/billion and 1/million
Nicholas Rodriguez
In that case, we're looking at least a few every year for an ugly family, then once every decade for a beautiful one.
So, there's hope!
Math? We're focusing on the numbers here, not the name of the values.
Tyler Bennett
You seem hurt, who hurted you user?
Leo Barnes
I would argue it depends on the regiment. You get put in a meatgrinder and you can kiss your ass goodbye.
But get a regiment behind the scenes or acting as support auxiliaries? You have a decent chance of the entire regiment getting through the campaign and getting disbanded.
Asher Hall
No it's not.
Kill yourself you jaded cunt.
Josiah Diaz
There's nothing for him to come back to.
He would come back to Veeky Forums, post a new quest, and get instantly banned because mods changed Veeky Forums culture. Rip Papa-N

What a stupid fucking set of questions. The answer to all of these is the same for every question like this in 40k - Depends on the planet.
But to answer your questions based o. iG fiction, let's go
>Yes >Depends, prob nothing >Depends on the regiment. Both are likely >Possibly. It depends on the culture of the world they are recruited from >If real world military is anything to go by, yes, sexual harassment is rampant >Executed for Heresy or infection most likely, who knows what wierd alien diseases they have. But it depends on the regiments discipline and if there's a commissar around >Very, very low but possible
Hunter Ross
Depends on the regiment but most of the time >Are imperial guardsmen allowed to have sex? Yes it would be arguably heretical if they could not >If not what happens if they're caught having sex while deployed? If they are allowed to nothing otherwise a bullet to the head >What happens if a female imperial guard is found to be pregnant? Is she forced to have an abortion? Is the baby taken away and raised in a military institution? No no abortions probably taken away unless its not worth the resources to deal with it >Are husbands and wives allowed to fight together if they are both conscripted into the imperial guard? Yes >Are female recruits/conscripts ever abused/harassed by their officers? Probably very rarely >What happens if an imperial guardsman is caught raping a humanoid aliens? On the one hand he's punishing alien scum but on the other he is deriving pleasure from their bodies. Instant execution ni exceptions whatsoever thats consorting with xenos >What are the chances of joining the imperial guard then going on to life a long happy life in a comfy planet with a beautiful family? Depends where your regiment gets shiped.
Leo Edwards
This was and is a necessary discussion, user.

>Are imperial guardsmen allowed to have sex? yes >If not what happens if they're caught having sex while deployed? they get a disciplinary punishment (no, they are not getting *BLAMED* for it) >What happens if a female imperial guard is found to be pregnant? Is she forced to have an abortion? Is the baby taken away and raised in a military institution? Kids, if born, go to schola progenium. Everything else depends on the situation, and no, she's not getting *BLAMED* for it. >Are husbands and wives allowed to fight together if they are both conscripted into the imperial guard? Yes >Are female recruits/conscripts ever abused/harassed by their officers? Most probably >What happens if an imperial guardsman is caught raping a humanoid aliens? On the one hand he's punishing alien scum but on the other he is deriving pleasure from their bodies. Nothing, if the comissar doesn't find out about it, but the guy gets *BLAMED* if he does. >What are the chances of joining the imperial guard then going on to life a long happy life in a comfy planet with a beautiful family? Close to zero.
