That cyoa is on the other spectrum of what I described. You get too many powers, without knowing enough about the power level of other people.
You end up OP, with thirty points to spare.
The best way I can see making the power section in a superpower cyoa, is to let you have a few general and weak powers (slightly improved strength, a minor healing factor, not having to sleep as much), and one super cool power. You'd have to spend like two pages on the main powers, because you need to know how they work, and have enough powers to choose from.

Someone doesn't read many superhero comics if he thinks that's overpowered.

Character creation is one of my favorite parts of RPG. Building decks is my favorite part of trading card games. I might be alone in thise preferences, but CYOAs are a perfect fit for me. I can understand, however, if the prospect of choice without followup does not appeal to you.

I always go for Lust, myself. But, like I mentioned above, it's really annoying that it always insists I eat shit.

Sure. You will probably find it depressing.
I can't pick Lust because I have close to no sexual desire, probably because of my lack of self-esteem. I have no reason to love myself, and I don't want to be loved. It would feel fake, like someone playing a joke on me. I would be consumed by paranoia, waiting for them to reveal the truth.
I don't want Greed and Envy because there's nothing material I need or want, and I don't feel envious when I see someone with more money or friends etc. than me. Same with Wrath, I'm not /r9k/, there's nothing exterior to be mad at. The only wrath I feel is a projection of my feelings for myself.
Gluttony plain doesn't appeal to me. Eating is something you have to do to survive, it's not pleasurable. I doubt you can spin that so it would interest me in the slightest.
I'm left with Sloth or Pride, and since I dislike myself, I'd rather accomplish something than not. You know, feel pride in something, and occupy my mind with progressing.
Pride tends to give you the tools for self-improvement, at the cost of having to ignore other people and treat them poorly. I already do the first part. All that's changed is I have to actively push people away, people who try to get close to me.
That's not too bad of a drawback.

I might be willing to take Lust, but then it would be focused more on degradation than lust. If Lust is made the opposite of Pride - living to please others, discarding your own feelings and wants - then I might want it.
But that's closer to Humility, which is a virtue. Of course I pick it because the idea of living only to please (one person) is what I want. To be told what to do and given direction.
Basically, if Lust became being a complete Sub, to place your entire life in the hands of one person and do anything they say, and love anything they tell you to love, it might interest me.

Pretty standard soldier who knows how societies works to avoid social faux pas, and can talk to anyone.

Why would I want to do that? I'm the one who becomes an Avatar of a sin. I don't care what happens to some character that isn't me, I don't know how they act. I couldn't care less what happens to a game character after defeating the last boss, but I care what happens to me afterwards.
Even if I pretend I'm playing a character, I'd still thinks it's more fun to pick Pride, since that's the sin I like. I don't like the others, because of reasons I mentioned. Lust still doesn't appeal to me, even if it doesn't happen to me.
