Create an inquisitor thread

Let's roll up an inquisitor, Veeky Forums.

Firts roll, 1d100 - their.

>their
their gender.

Rolled 2 (1d2)

dice+1d100

Rolled 94 (1d100)

fuck

Yesterday we rolled up an amazon regiment, today we roll up an amazon inquisitor!

Female.

Now, d100 for her age.

Rolled 18 (1d100)

> Young female inquisitor
I like where this is going.

Young (40-55): The Inquisitor is young, by Inquisitorial standards.

Fres and energetic! Or not.

Now, d100 for her Ordo.

Rolled 84 (1d100)

No Ordo. We're a loose cannon, and it's about time we do some damage.

No Ordo: Exactly as stated. The Inquisitor has no Ordo affiliations.

Either she hasn't settled on an Ordo yet, or she's just too cool for Ordos.

Now, 1d3 number of d100s for her titles.

Rolled 3 (1d3)

3d100 then. Go!

Rolled 2, 28, 93 = 123 (3d100)

Ordo-specific and military rank! Too bad we don't have an ordo. Reroll?

Rolled 67, 65, 41 = 173 (3d100)

Nobility and two misc titles.

>Military Rank: Colonel, General, Major, Admiral, Captain, etc; all these and whatever else could be bestowed upon the Inquisitor as a title owing to a previous career, an honorific granted by a particular institution or simply be of their own devising (and dreams of military glory?).
>Ordo-specific: Something related to the Inquisitors line of work, e.g. an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor might be Witch-Finder, Witch-Hunter, Colonel-of-Redemption, etc.
> The Inquisitor's only title is that, which should be scary enough!

Pity we don't have an ordo, so the second roll is wasted. We end up with two titles, on of which is just Inquisitor. Oh well, if she doesn't die first she has time to come up with some cooler ones.

Now, 1d100 for her philosophy.

Rolled 29 (1d100)

Hoping for extreme radical.

>Moderate Puritan: These Inquisitors understand the place of psykers and mutants is one of servitude, and that they should be made to understand their inferiority. These are Puritans that acknowledge psychic benefits.

I feel your pain too.

Now, methodology. 1d3 times d100.

Nope, we're Liberal Puritan instead. Lady Inquisitor knows that there are some good psykers and mutants for sure - she even heard of a couple.

...

You fucked it up, lemme do it.

boring ol' "reasonable pragmatism" wins again

>she will never be this radical

Rolled 92, 77, 11 = 180 (3d100)

Reeeeeeeee

> Semper Iadem (Always the same): Most likely an Amalathian, it is understood that the status quo should be maintained, or that it is far too difficult to change.
> Omnia Audax (In all things daring): Constantly challenging authority, popular beliefs and often common sense. When successful, it is most impressive, unfortunately success is often not guaranteed.
> Vota Vita Mia (My life is devoted): To whatever cause they have pledged themselves, this character will be unflinching in its execution above all other things.

Lady Inquisitor is internally conflicted. She knows that changing status quo is difficult, perhaps nearly impossible, but she challenges it anyway. Loose cannon!

> 1d3 times
>lists all three results without determining the number first.

Summer fucking ended 2 weeks ago, why are you still here?

Rolled 3 (1d3)

And he posts a shitty pick too.

Rolled 3 (1d3)

Do we keep those results, or do we roll again?

She starts looking like an ordo Chronos material to be honest.

Next, 1d100 for psychic ability.

Rolled 47 (1d100)

Yer a psyker, Harry!

...

>None: No psionic ability exhibited.

No yer not.

1d3 d100s for Quirks.

Rolled 2 (1d3)

Rolled 1 (1d3)

Hoping to get a masked quirk.

2d100. Go!

Rolled 51, 32 = 83 (2d100)

> Outward philosophy: Knowledge is power, use it to smite the enemy! Everybody is sick of hearing about this Inquisitor's affiliation.
> Afraid of space travel: The void of space can be a scary place, either from phobia or experience. This makes the character loathe to travel for long periods of time in space.

I was hoping for "Severly unhinged", that would really explain her schizoid methodology.

1d5 d100s for Resources she has.

Rolled 4 (1d5)

4d100. Can't hold all these Resources!

Rolled 23, 48, 43, 30 = 144 (4d100)

You can't tell me what to do, mom!

>Military Rank: Colonel, General, Major, Admiral, Captain
>Admiral
That'll do, the Inquisitor-Admiral or Admiral-Inquisitor.

There's no ship Ordo, yet. She's working on it.
Like to fight space anomalies and evil mind crabs from beyond the fringe.

I was thinking of it less as schizoid, and more that she was extremely frustrated that every attempt at improving things goes down the shitter FAST, so she throws every ounce of effort she has into changing things slowly and successfully.

We have our own private army, an armed spaceship, a reliquary and... A second personal army. By the Emperor, it seems like our girl is preparing for war.

An armed ship, a reliquary, and fucking TWO personal armies. That military rank is very fitting.

2d100 for Personal Army.

>Afraid of space travel: The void of space can be a scary place, either from phobia or experience. This makes the character loathe to travel for long periods of time in space.

>49391798
I really need to wait a few rolls before I start posting ideas, that or a space inquisitor who hates space could be fun.

Rolled 38, 14 = 52 (2d100)

hey, when you're afraid of space it pays to bring along as many meatshields between you and demons/ayys/whatever as possible.

Rolled 5, 38 = 43 (2d100)

Imperial guardsmen and mercenaries. Was hoping for exotic, but can't have it all.

>Mercenaries: The Inquisitor has employed a cadre of mercenaries these could be professional, Imperial regulated (possessing a licence) troops or little better than piratical brigands simply out for booty.
>Guard formation: A body of Imperial guardsmen, be it a company or a regiment. They could be specialists in a certain type of combat that the Inquisitor finds useful.

now 1d100 for that ship.

Rolled 32 (1d100)

Gotta have a big ship to hold all those troops.

Rolled 75 (1d100)

Rolled 87 (1d100)

Strike Craft: Swift and well-armed for its size, usually equivalent to a light cruiser in tonnage.

You want a big ship! TOO BAD, GET A FUCKING STRIKE CRAFT

Aaaand we're done.
Summary:
Young female inquisitor with no Ordo ties. Holds a military rank. She's moderately puritan, has no psychic abilities. Afraid of space, reall outspoken about her beliefs. Has two armies, a strike craft and a reliquary.

Her methodologies are:
> Semper Iadem (Always the same): Most likely an Amalathian, it is understood that the status quo should be maintained, or that it is far too difficult to change.
> Omnia Audax (In all things daring): Constantly challenging authority, popular beliefs and often common sense. When successful, it is most impressive, unfortunately success is often not guaranteed.
> Vota Vita Mia (My life is devoted): To whatever cause they have pledged themselves, this character will be unflinching in its execution above all other things.

I'm liking the idea that she going round investigating odd space shit that she hates.

OR

Shows up in systems that have been left alone for a while to preform "administrative adjustments."

So, let's summarize

>Young female
>No Ordo
>Has a military title
>Moderately Puritan
>Works by maintaining satatus quo, challenging state beliefs and being really passionate about it.
>Has a space ship, hates space
>Also has two consignments of troops and a personal reliquary.

A little of both.

She cuts through the scum of the stars to get at worlds that have been left to fester in isolation.

She hates the gunk clogging the arteries of the Imperium, and she hates what the isolation does to those planets.

I'm seeing an ex-military officer who is tasked with procuring and keeping important relics by older inquisitors. She took her job extremelyseriously, so now she hired a mercenary detachment to scour potential sites for relics while she cruises around on her ship with her former regiment raiding tombs and reliquaries. While hating every minute of it, but orders are orders.

Important questions, Is she and admiral or a captain and does it come first or second when hyphenated with Inquisitor?

probably before the hyphen

Commodore-Inquisitor

>While hating every minute of it, but orders are orders.
So she's tsundere for the void between worlds. Fantastic.

I think Inquisitor-[Title] sound better.

Except I don't think that her second Title should be naval - definitely not Admiral, as she has only one small-ish ship. And she has more ground force troops anyway. So, something like Inquisitor General should be more fitting.

Let's give an actual name and maybe flesh out these Mercs

Captains log,
Imperial date 3 273 929 M41

Space, the final fronter.

Oh how I loath it.

Inquisitor-Commodore Talia Wallenstein

Shall we roll for both the Mercs and Regiment using the Guard generator and tidy up anything that doesn't fit what we already know?

If we're up for it give me a d10 for each.

Augmented troops (Well that explains overzealous.)
For the Homeworld (maybe they're just really proud of the ship?)

I imagine their allies and enemies are the inquisitor's.

Shockingly despite not being designed for it I think it's actually the Mercs who require less modification.
