It sounds like Adventurer stuff to me. Most of the stuff anyways.

Electricians sure as hell can be.

Are you autistic?

>Pest Control
Getting rid of goblins and other nasty creatures

>Home Inspections
Spelt Inspections, but read as robbery

>Safety Modifications
Pretty much sabotaging that carriage with the king in it to explode.

Just some examples I thought up.

Do you know how to copy and paste?

Your list sucks, but I get what you mean:
>Appraising of property
>Lockset adjustment
>Waste and junk removal
Looting

>Tiling
Seduction

It's something that I had copied and pasted from Wikipedia so no surprise there.

Handy man RPG NOW! Veeky Forums

As a plumber and HVAC tech myself, it certainly feels like it sometimes. The sh** that I have seen.

Not really, no.

Paid unreasonably high wages for actually piss easy work-check
Fight off large vermin in peoples cellars-check
Made up by the unreasonably large mouthbreather population which once again doesnt explain how steve has a fucking lamborgini for humping drywall all fucking day-no
Almost, They would be the handymen of the fantasy place

...

>Paid unreasonably high wages for actually piss easy work
you jelly?

>Paid unreasonably high wages for actually piss easy work-check
Why isn't everyone doing it then ?

Freelance Handymen are more like your "Adventurers," or you can join a Guil-I mean a Union and perform a more specific field of work.

In reality, a comparable narrative of a person who wanders into unknown territory and dungeons to fight monsters for reward is more like a McGuyver, or a self-made Operator.

Because kids these days want that ever so useful bachelors degree in psychology, or some bullshit certificate in videogame design.

That's why those kids my age are bagging my groceries, and I am building their houses and roads.

>Are Handymen the modern day adventurers?
Nah, only muslim terorists born in non-muslim countries conform to the Hero's Journey model.

Then why are they acting all jealous when someone is actually paid accordingly for the work they do ?

Former handyman here. No, no they are not.

Plumbers might be

There are no real "adventurer" type jobs.

>what is the us marines

>cops who shoot dindus all day long
>ER surgeons who are literally heal sluts
>jukebox hero bards traveling the country side
>pen testing rogues getting paid to break into corporations to test security vulnerabilities
No adventure for you normies, huh? I'm a quest giver in a hotel.

>ER surgeons who are literally heal sluts
tfw you'll never be able to be Dr. House.

I suppose the travel the world and kill brown people in the desert thing would be, but they lack the freedom of a typical murder hobo. They go where they're told. When they're not out fighting, they're running security - usually for the Navy or on a base. It has far less personal freedom than even a civilian job.

t. Navy

People who spend a fuck ton time standing around.

Better yet,
>Weapons designers are literally crafting characters
>Politicians are faces who decided to leave their party behind
>Mercenaries and bounty hunters

>>pen testing rogues getting paid to break into corporations to test security vulnerabilities
Wait, that's a thing? What are the qualifications?

The qualifications are "be able to break into corporations" and cha:19. Look up defcon (defense convention) videos on YouTube. There are a lot of talks on the very subject

Have a very particular set of skills; skills acquired over a very long career. Skills that make you a nightmare for corporations.
