Nope. Speaking from experience the few female DM's I've had are actually worse about the magical realm shit.

One GM I played with had the biggest wet spot for dragons and would inject them into all of her games. They where never enemies, they where always [insert mary-sue adjectives here] and anyone that attacked dragons were automatically bad guys.

One play got so sick of if that when she tried to give the party her "adorable" DMPC dragon pet (that for some reason was somehow smarter than the wizard despite just being born) he actually tied it to a log and killed with with the barbarian's fuck off massive war hammer.

It's just that _we__ are better at hiding it and making it look like a regular campaign.

I'd argue the inverse. They tend to view the power of gaming as a safe space for them to indulge themselves and that can lead to their fetishes being more easily inserted than if a guy did it. I think on some level it is because they often aren't subtle about it which can disarmingly lead to someone taking it as though they're playing it straight rather than as fetish fuel. Which isn't necessarily the case, and often makes them feel like its more okay to get into their kinks.

I've had more female DMs and Players indulging in their magical realms than I have had from male DMs or Players. I've gamed for about sixteen years now across a variety of campuses, online games, and local games. My evidence is anecdote at best, but pretty reliable in that if a magical realm gets brought up (and it doesn't most of the time) it tends to get brought up by a lady.

That being said, general heterosexual coitus and vanilla as fuck stuff crops up plenty often and that is being discredited in this only because it isn't super weird. I'll give Drow a pass on bondage and femdom, until surface elves start deciding they ought to do the same thing and things get a little too Gor for me to just stare blindly at it like it is vanilla.

I've also found my female players tend to be a lot more bloodthirsty and vile when it comes to torture and executions. Guy players tend to be more likely to punch a guy if they fail their diplomacy, girl players tend to shank the person in the belly and twist the knife while their buddy bags his head and takes him off for interrogation. But I play with a couple rape survivors and while I wouldn't want to think it is an empowerment fantasy, those ladies are totally cool with violence and carnage. They both love slasher flicks and shit too, so they tend towards creepy murderhoboism while my guy players try to be more political and crafty.

Just my two cents on the experience.

Fuck no. The one female DM I engage with on a regular basis makes it a point to make her rich and powerful sex-worker fetish a major part of, if not the point of, any campaign she runs.

Is this a deliberate magical-realm, or is she not really knowing WTF she's doing here? Who's gonna tell her? Well it sure as fuck isn't me. Maybe this was just a one-off isolated incident. OMFG, she's doing it AGAIN. Holy shit, I wish I could quit the group but there'd be questions. Oh fuck please don't do this again. FUCK, she did it again!"

Yeah, that's how it goes. My only reprieve was when the players talked it over during smoke break and decided to drop out at the same time. We just didn't show up again, "Too busy." Etc. And other bullshit excuses.

In my experience, FemDMs aren't the most subtle about fetishes, likely because they think as guys, it's something they can just be up front about for some reason or another.
