Its not just strength, Baal strike force means my marines are strength AND initiative 5 on the charge turning the power sword Sargent in to a mean, marine murdering machine and they don't even get to fight back!
Not to mention fast vehicles. Razor backs with lascannon and tl plasma moving 12" and still having pinpoint accuracy, predators can actually move up to 6" and fire all weapons or do a mad power slide 12" (multi tread drifting!) and give someone's side/rear armour two lascannons for underestimating it's speed.

Somehow I managed to kill two of those Knights. I killed one turn one. It feels good user.

He killed my Guard blob in melee and stomped two of my Russes somehow even when he was stuck in combat but I ended up tying him in cards at the end. It was 5 -5.

First time actually using a CAD and it worked really well.
Flier came in turn two and my Black Knights were able to decimate one of his Long Fang squads.
He brought three Drop Pods of Grey Hunters and I tied one of with my RW command squad and blew the second that Drop Pod Assault'd to hell with 4 missile Launches. (He goofed and put his two special weapons and sergeant right up front when they disembarked.)
Needless to say I sent that yiff packing with his tail between his leg, For the LIon!

If I had a million dollars and wanted to spend it on SoBs, I'd start a cosplay group and invest in a bunch of professional-grade Battle Sister, Seraphim, and Repentia costumes and get girls to come with me to cosplay events.
Also I could use them as a human Kill Team if I wanted to play with them.
A Kill Team idea I had to counter the big blobs of GSC and guardsmen.

My opponent had The Wolf Lord on wolf with Relic Axe running with five Thunderwolf Cavalry that all had storm shields with a mix of fists and claws. Then he had three Grey Hunter Drop pods with 2 specials plus combi and a Long Fang Flakk Missile squad.

Man, Cult Mechanicus vs Imperial Guard is such a cheap matchup if the IG player doesn't go deep into heavy weaponry.
The amount of hoops they have to jump through to kill Kastelans with IWND is ridiculous if they aren't specifically geared against them.

Hey guys, are you using book codices or have you switched to tables? I am thinking about buy a tablet for all my codices and what not. I am thinking 7 or 8 inches, something I can take around easy.

Prime black, highlight with dark blue on the edges, then use light gray/white to highlight "light source" edges.

They also might not care. People at my store just use Battlescribe and the manager dgaf.
Yeah, but highlights are all the more important to make up for it.
Sometimes getting other paints over it can also be a bit of a pain, but it's one of the easier schemes to go with. Painted my Emperor's Champion today and only took around an hour or so.
Yeah black its pretty alright. You just get a good dark grey for some edge highlighting so it doesn't look like a black blob.
The harder part is painting thin layers of white over the black and not submitting to the thick paint daemons who will taunt you to use too thick a layer.
Pic related are similar to the Black Templar army I see at my shop and I think it looks ace.

Keep the flamer squads out of sight and on the back line objectives and spread everything else and march forward.
cool. This is my first miniatures army ever, so an easy paint scheme is a pretty big plus.

The online codices are only sold for iOS.
I thought you could buy them for any tablet but you could only get the epub version.
Just keep in mind that you can't rely on a lot of formations to make the most out of your Templars, as Crusader squads can't be used in place of Tacticals.
Nor can you use Grimaldus for the Reclusiam squad.
Nor are you allowed to give your Honor Guard LRCs in place of normal LRs.
And barely any of the other formations, apart from LR Spearhead are fluff-friendly. Though I guess Skyhammer helps your crunch a lot but is often frowned upon by fluff fans.
Man, I hate how much GW bullied Templars going into 7e. Could've at least given us something special to do with our special units after deleting our codex.
Our Black Templar player got the Betrayal at Calth kit and some non GW greenstuff he crafted into robes for all of his guys. Then he found a bit store and found a bunch of really cheap chainswords and bolt pistols.
He also uses the Dark Angel's Deathwing Terminator box because they also have Robed Terminators.

Oooohhh list? In kill points yeah you'd win but if it was any kind of objective/mission I think I'd have a slight advantage going for points over kills.
What do you guys think about LEDs on models? I am thinking of buying pic related to light up some models. Do you think I can solder the LEDs off and then wire them up in my model? I like that you can control the colors of these LEDs.
on 90 percent of models i would shy away from it. On Admech, go whole hog.

Leman Russes all Alphastriked turn one against the closest Knight after he failed to kill anything bigger than a Guardsmen. Then I think turn three fired everything again at one of his thermal cannon Knights with a five man Scions squad rushing it like badasses and taking it down with a melta bomb. It was fucking amazing.
