What jumps let you get Jesus as a companion?

Assassin's Creed

JoJo

Drop In
100 cp - Actual Combat Skills
You need these, right? I mean, you might be able to get away with just having amazingly high stats and just whacking away, but surely having actual combat skills will be useful? Well, pick a weapon. Sword, trident, whip, staff, pretty much anything. You’ve now got some basic combat training with that weapon. Good luck.

200 cp - Union Assault
You know what the best kind of attacks are? Combo attacks. If you’ve got the MP to spare, then you can use a special technique known as a Union with one of your party members, and launch a supermove at your opponent. This is one per person though, so If you combo with the same person five times, you’ll get the same move five times. For example, Cthulhu and a mermaid summoning the Kraken.

400 cp - Victory Fanfare
Whenever you complete a successful battle, you will find small amounts of your health and magical energy restored to you. This is a wee bit subjective, due to running on JRPG logic, but about five minutes after combat stops you will get the boost. This also works on party members - a maximum of three other people - and can and will raise them from the dead in the process. It will probably leave them bleeding out and in critical condition though, so get a potion or a white mage quick.

600 cp - Save Point
Sadly, this isn’t a literal save point. That would be a tiny bit overpowered for 600 cp. Instead, you can create a grand total of ten glowing rings of blue light, and place them wherever you want. Stepping inside this ring will instantly bring you up to one hundred percent of your natural power, healing wounds and restoring mana. Sadly, you can only use each save point once. On the flip side, your companions can also use it - once - and your enemies can’t use it at all. Pretty nifty, right?

The 200 and the 400 aren't new, but the 100 and the 600 are.

Isn't he literally a corpse in Jojo?

Are there any setting, with jumps, that get changed as much as Worm when you include wog as canon?

SMT, what happens if we take Nothing could be Finer, and Long Run? The former affects us by simply living and the latter increases amount of time we spend in jump

Harry Potter

40k

This jump is fantastic
>a perk that lets you "feed off dickishness"
>a tsundere sword
>a good harem perk
>a crown that lets you shoot fricken fire from your eyes
>a "fuck off and leave me alone" perk

It's the perfect vacation jump, too. You literally just sit back and shitpost on forums for 10 years. Or 210 years.

Should I get her as a companion? What's the worse that could happen?

Does cthylla show up?

Supposedly that's fake, though from other things that certainly aren't fake still leads to the conclusion that J.K. is a crazy bitch.

So, Digger's new jump may have a perk that allows you to identify the supernatural, but do we have anything that's it's counterpart? That is to say, is there anything that would allow youur powers to spoof or be undetectable to magical perceptions or psionic sensors?

And?

They only know what your in-jump self has. If you're a Drop-In, they know nothing.

As I said, you are not required to act in good faith when serving them. You'll want to do what they order you, but this does not mean you'll like it (like a moral person forced to commit mass murder, and this theoretical mass murderer letting some kids go because he thinks he can get away with that). In turn, this means you are not required to actually be completely forthcoming with them about your abilities and nature.

SUPERJAIL doesn't scale. The text about its lethality is descriptive of the experience normal Stand users get.

Superjail goes first, then if you live long enough you'll get railroaded into joining the race and bond with a Corpse Part, at which point Cannibal Corpse works as advertised. I think it's only 4-5 years between the two parts, so there shouldn't be any need for time changes.

Drawbacks fade after 10 years if the jump hasn't ended yet. This is deliberate.

Changelog:
-Changed the notes regarding Era-conflicting drawbacks.

Nope.

Starcraft Terran Route has psychic invisibility, Samurai Deeper Kyo has mystical invisibility.

All I can think of is Pattern Ultraviolet in NGE.

And now, the question posed by Sun/Moon that we should all be asking:

Do Ultra Beasts count as legendaries for the purposes of the "no legendaries" rule in PMD?

>want
Not him but...I think you mean 'have' instead? Want implies you...want to do it. Which is pretty hard to reconcile with not liking it. Your example makes way more sense if you replace want with have too. Why would a moral person 'want' to commit mass murder? The bit about them thinking they can get away with letting some live also makes more sense if it's them having to do it, not wanting to.

So, uh, I didn't get nearly as far as I hoped. Things came up, and then I had to reevaluate what I was doing.

The item section didn't get done, but everthing is lined out. And it has since been filled in enough that I feel like I can put these in a WIP. As a bonus on that, I included a few more perks? (Which I was actually planning to save until the full release before, but whatever)

Non-entry fluff's still coming at some later point, and drawbacks are kind of a half-finished mess that really need the rest finished before I continue with them.

Anyway... here's Exalted: The Infernals v0.4

Please tear it apart and see if I'm fucking anything up? Also, if anyone has ideas for items that seem like they should be there, but aren't, then those are welcome too?

...I don't speak much good english, okay?

But seriously, you're right. My bad for the language fuck-up.

Did you make the SMT 1 jump? If so, could you clarify what exactly declaring one of your titles as a Tyrant does?

Heya /jc/, right now I just started a new chain and have come to realize that story lines spanning thousands of years are a pain in the ass to write. So how well do you guys handle it? Does anyone have any multiple jump spanning character/story arcs that they wouldn't mind sharing?

Looks like Mardukth just posted one in the latest update to the Infernals WIP. Mu spoofs information-gathering abilities used on you.

Speaking of which, looks good. More Yozi perks filled out, and new artifacts. I like them. The Kimberry stuff is especially cool, in my opinion.

I shorten the amount of time jumps go for. I've found it almost impossible to do any sort of story otherwise, as any character development or conflict that I want to be long term just fizzles out in most jumps where I don't go to absurd lengths to keep it going.

It lets you use the abilities tied to said titles, and makes it so when people recognize you, they also recognize that you are [Insert Title Here].

I think most of us greentext or make cliff notes. We usually write in detail about the more interesting parts instead of the entire decade. After all, ten years can be really eventful or really boring.

There are no tweets recorded between those two accounts.

>Ultra Beasts
What the fuck is that?

What does SMT stand for?

They would have to count as Pokemon first for that to matter.

Shin Megami Tensai.

...Shin Megami Tensei.

So as long as we do things that makes us US and have companion help, Nothing is Finer is manageable.

The Loss Drawback, I have no idea how to deal with it. Hm.

Can we make SCOPE MEN with Brand New Day? Can we not give them some of abilities, like Styles or such, in order to focus on ONE ability, like Melody, to give them the full blown version of Melody?

Buying both Awaken and Melody use separate reserves of STAR, and it's only through finangling that we could use both reserves to have one ability stronger?

>The Loss Drawback, I have no idea how to deal with it. Hm.

And nobody will until that story comes out. It's essentially a complete toss-up as to WTF will happen and how it'll be dealt with.

About right.

No. Scope Men and Pillarmen are something else entirely from the base perk. Making things like them isn't necessarily impossible, but it's your business and beyond the base perk. Correct, but you'll probably need testing and research to get it just right.

Yes.

Supermegatopia

Shaman King, technically, though good luck finding a Shaman powerful enough to summon him back from the afterlife, let alone wield him in battle.

Basically what Heavens said. I tend to write a few pages about the events of a Jump, notable scenes or important events, but writing a full story on each ten years would be a huge undertaking. A few on my favorite settings get a little more love and care put into their writing though.

If we have Melody and eat a Jawbreaker to get a STAND, can we use the STAR of STAND to enhance MELODY too? Asking to know how to enhance my Atomic Men.

This has plenty of stuff I want...

Can we eventually learn to replicate or create STAR like Pillarmen did with MASK, or what was done with JAWBREAKERS?

Hey SMT, I wanted to ask a question: do Belial and Nebiros count as a single companion?

Potentially, but that's something you'd have to figure out on your own. Incidentally: using jawbreakers as an energy source while they're being created instead of having them eat one would be an easier way of enhancing an Atomic Super Man's powers.

Correct. As much as I added the Jawbreaker Jar as a source of profit and a tool for creating Stand users, I also intended for it to be a font of research materials for [STAR] energy.

Yep.

When does the Fable jump take place? Before the second game?

During 1st if memory serves.

Thanks. And yeah, Kimbery stuff was unexpectedly fun to write.

Interval between 1st and 2nd Games.

No, I remember the jump stating that Jack is dead.

Thanks user.

Thanks. I hope best dads aren't too sad from being separated from Alice.

Isn't there a drawback in DS II that allows you to take all three as companions?

What skills/magics/ect would merge best with Story Magic out of Innistrad?

Changeling's Talecrafting would be preddy gud, although that involves TRAUMA.

God and Jesus look at you and laugh, before smiting you.

Even if you bought them with cp.

Well, there it is.

...For skills, being really good at writing stories and/or being really good at finding lost tomes with great stories would help a lot.

And otherwise just magic boosters, I guess?

Don't think the Great Spirit is buyable as the God stand-in. Jesus still has smiting capabilities, despite not being the current Shaman King?

Yeah, so far I'm just getting everything I can that gives me stories, like the library out of Princess Bride, and then I'll figure out where to go from there

don't know how I never thought to include Changeling, but thanks!

That's dumb. It's canon that you can be a shaman of spirits that are regarded as omnipotent by their respective religions. They're strong, but their omnipotent reputation is just reputation. There's no reason to think Jesus or YHVH would be any different. If someone can make an Oversoul of Acala, the almighty guardian buddha that Shiva himself is afraid of, then it's probably possible to work with Jesus who men call Christ.

So I have a thought exercise for anyone who likes the Wormverse. That is, the characters, not Scion and the Endbringers.

I have a jumper Drop-In who needs neither food nor sleep who spends most of January staring out at the ocean and looking like a strangely unblemished hobo. I also took the Personal Problems drawback.

Name me a few people who could bump into him and (accidentally) get him roped into things. He's neutral-to-good aligned but isn't much of a superhero without something to motivate him, figuring most worlds get by fine on their own.

Hard Mode: Running into and defeating Lung early is not an option, nor anything involving the ABB in any capacity.

I'm assuming you're in Brockton Bay, based on the mention of Lung? Well, if you're some crazy hobo hanging out by the waterfront, there are good odds you'd wind up having to deal with the Merchants. They've got territory near the docks.Drug dealers/addicts with superpowers and poor decision-making skills even before the conflict libido from their shards messes with them, it wouldn't take much justification for them to try to fuck with you.

It's got nothing to do with power, it's a compatibility issue.

Ever sinned?

Isn't the entrance to Taylor's safehouse somewhere near the docks, or at least the beach?

Inadvertetly, yes. You see when I went to Bubblegum crisis and started becoming the mega-corporate mogul you know today, I was always in a power struggle with the Ultron Wannabe Largos, I made a habit of trolling him and eventually he came to suspect my origins. Nothing would of come from this however had not the Dark Powers in Ravenloft decided to make him a Dark Lord. His torment being with limited resources and unable to make his dreams of a Boomer dominated world come true. However he did have some resources, and suspecting I was able to get out of that place made microbots to contain a copy of his memories and attached itself to either me or my companions and hide in the warehouse.

The next jump was MCU, he escapes my warehouse with some stolen assimilated tech, and eventually steals Tony's Ultron program for himself. Effectively replacing Ultron.

The worst part was Tony Stark's rant as he proclaimed he would never make a mistake like that himself and how I ruined his Ultron program.

Yes. If only there was a messianic figure to set me on the path towards righteousness by working with me and guiding me towards performing good deeds, while offering gentle forgiveness and unconditional love. Too bad Jesus isn't interested in that sort of thing.

What does that have to do with it? Jesus loves working with sinners, it's his whole shtick. Do you not actually know what Christianity is, BLADE?

I want to ask that question to half the Christians I know, don't be too surprised. A lot of the message has been fucked up in today's day and age.

And like that I suddenly want to retcon my Shaman King build for Jesus as a Guardian Ghost.

>Jesus is a self-righteous blowhard proclaiming all sinners will burn in hell.

No, no, no. Those assholes came later. Jesus was all about forgive and forget and don't be a fucking hypocrite.

Have we gotten any good new jumps lately? I have been away trying to keep retards from hurting others while rioting.

Do it. BLADE's just being an asshole while showing how little he understands both the source material of his jump and the religion of Christianity.

Kindly refrain from springboarding my post to talk shit.

No. And now I'm going to springboard off this post to say that you're a coward, who's too scared of conflict to acknowledge the actual problems with BLADE's writing.

Okay, lets try that again.

If you want to meet Jesus, take him out for lunch, debate ideology with him, or just generally bro it up with him? You can do this.

He can and maybe will hang out with you, sending you disapproving looks whenever you mention your large number of waifu's.

If you want to use him as your guardian ghost, and enter the shaman fight with him? You do not meet his standards.

Assuming the same relation between you/jesus as there was between jesus/god, you will never meet his standards either.

Jesus never existed, now fuck off powerwanker.

No. You have to bring along her boyfriend and listen to them constructing additional rabbits.

Jesus is canon to shaman king, as a shaman king.

You'd have better luck with the money king though.

Wow. You're kind of an asshole, aren't you? "You will never meet Jesus's standards, and Jesus will in fact actively disapprove of the life choices that I've assumed you've made." Fuck you, BLADE.

What makes Jesus so much better compared to fucking Hindu figures - which are canonically Guardian Ghosts, and considering that Hindu mythos has a dramatically higher power level than Christian mythos?

this is a happy thread

He's right though. You're a powerwanking shitheap and are going to burn in hell for it. Glad a jumpmaker is finally taking a hardline stance against you rats.

Put your trip back on Red.

I'm honestly appalled that my suggestion turned into this.

I'm not powerwanking. I can get things a lot more powerful than Jesus, in the Shaman King jump. I just think it's pretty damn offensive to say "this guy here, who's all about loving everyone? If he met you he'd think you're a dick. I've never met you, either, but I'm just sure that you're that sort of person that not even a literal messianic figure could approve of".

I'm sorry we ruined a thing again.

BLADE ruined a thing. We're just along for the ride.

You should take up a weekend job, Timmy. It'd be good for your character.

>Implying I'm not the very concept of pure good this late in the chain.
>Implying Jesus wouldn't jump at the chance to guide even a normal Jumper towards good.
>Implying he wouldn't want to wander other jumps and redeem people there.
>Implying Implications.

>money king

I dunno, BLADE. I'm not sure if I embody the spirit of Capitalism enough.

Shorstack Molesting Tarrasque.

I tend to write summations of the decade or however long it takes by and large, usually for settings I don't know or care enough about to research. Otherwise I tend to zoom in on things I think are cool or would be fun to do and focus writing about that. My chains tend to fall flat in character interaction because I can't write other characters for shit, much less canon ones with set personalities. Attempts sort of just become stale and repetitive. I treat the jump like a really long vacation away from home, sometimes with travel troubles cropping up.

Dinah, Fortuna, the ghost of Hero, an old dock worker named Ezekiel who is homeless and trying to turn his life around while coping with drug addiction after his home was destroyed in [pick your disaster] along with his family, Eidolon out of costume, Taylor's dad, a widower named Zcion who is looking for a purpose in life.

See, if you want to make a fiat ruling for your jump just make the ruling. Your rationale though is just fucking retarded.

Please stop talking, your inability to theology and narrative is making my fucking eyes hurt.

You really should have stuck to porn jumps.

Sorry.

>Shorstack Molesting Tarrasque.
So is it a Tarrasque that molests shortstacks or a shortstack Tarrasque that molests? This is an important distinction for which I may have a boner on standby.

So, I was still looking for stuff for this, and picture related is the character that it is based off of. Is there something better than just standard telekinesis or something to hold onto your stories so that they will be ready when needed? Maybe a hammer space or something?

Any skills or perks that you have for actual storytelling should give you a memetic boost. Also, perks that buff you based off of how other people feel or their faith in you would be great.

In-jump, you mean? Because there's a lot of inventory perks scattered around the chain.

You could summon them with MtG magic, but that takes a bunch of magic too.

Uh... Libriomancy?

mostly just looking for ideas. I will probably end up going with a Gate of Babylon or something, but that seems like overkill, and doesn't really fit the bard theme that I have been going with.

Depends how new you're talking. Black Dynamite is pretty funky.

The inventory perks in Overlord and Minecraft are pretty good.

Gate of Babylon is probably overkill, unless you're planning to shoot people with your books?
