Honestly I feel as though this was the biggest loss. Farlyn has the potential to either be saved or find a peaceful death, but those hams don't just fucking grow on trees.

I guess after letting her do something useful, they needed to nerf her again.

This is not enough. Seriously, there is some lack of cooking the last chapters. We had a big fight against the dragon, it was excuseable, but even the cooking of the dragon meat felt flat.

It looks like the Dark Elf wanted to make an Elf/Dwarf/Human/Halfling jelly at the end, but those pesky adventurers were having none of it.

Sometimes the best threads for any given board happen outside of those boards. It's a nice break between endlessly debating point costs in the GURPS threads for me.

I'm just assuming that since the skeleton of the dragon is left behind, there is a chance whatever transformation happens to Farlyn should still be close to what her skeleton is, unless the Dark Elf can change the bone structure of Farlyn's skeleton, or Farlyn melts and turn back into a skeleton and the dragon revives, but may have Farlyn's conscious with the dragon.

Ancient DnD manual shows them as wolves, the Japanese adopted that and never bothered to update.

It's also why Orcs are porcine, which also has to do with pigs being associated with gluttony and gross sexual lust in Asian culture.

I believe it was something that got garbled in translation when D&D was brought over to Japan decades ago.
