Can you kill a chaos god?

Can you kill a chaos god?

No

Definitely not

Couldn't necrons or Tyranids kill everyone and starve them out of existence

Any Orc worth his salt can 1v1 Khorne.

You can't kill a concept.

I can only think about how stupidly oversized that hammer is.

At that size just a metal rod would be more than enough for swinging and smashing.

Chaos seems to compensate for something. Look how fucking large the axe head is.

Yes.

1) Not Chaos Gods. They can kill all their followers, however the deities and their demons will remain.

2) There are no Necrons and 'Nids in WHF

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: No.

can you kill color purple

I like the sandman idea about killing divine beings that manifest constants. They will just come back, maybe with a different personality, appearance or in a different form entirely. But they will return, because in the end. They're constants.

No, you can't

Can they be destroyed somehow? Yeah probably

Explain to me the difference between killing a god and destroying one.

Translation:

You can kill them as they are now, but you they'll be back in another form.

One is slaying, and the other is removing from existence.

The point though, was that a mere mortal cannot do that.

No, you see. The hammer must weigh as much as he does. It's ridiculous and doesn't look cool. It makes him look SMALLER for christs sake.

yes

Not with out destroying the Warp or sufficiently changing it so that it can no longer react to or be fed by emotion, unfortunately.

Kholek is a beyond ancient being, from a time when the world was covered in great monsters, so his hammer is likely meant for fighting large enemies and crushing them.

On the tabletop WHFB he's wasted fighting basic infantry.

The only two options would be
A: completely seperate the warp from reality
or
B: Erradicate every being capable of emotions to fuel the gods

too soon

he's not gonna swing himself into the enemy user get a grip

You could probably just walk to Khorne or Nurgle or whoever and kill them 1v1, but watch out
it seems pretty haed

Only in Age of Sigmar maybe.

They can kill each other though.

In old continuity, Malal would kill them all in the end.

You can kill minor chaos-gods without issue. They're just like particularly powerful Daemons, and if you can get more powerful than them, you can absolutely wreck their shit (see: the entire Eldar pantheon).

Yes in both 40K and Fantasy; this was literally Nagash's plan from the beginning.

According to AoS/End Times lore, we know that the Ruinous Powers have destroyed and recreated the universe multiple times. What we don't know is if they've ever recreated the universe after something else destroyed it.

If the Ruinous Powers need to destroy the universe and eat everyone's souls to get enough energy to make a new universe, then they could be killed. They wouldn't be able to prevent necron/tyranid/Nagash omnicide by creating a new universe, and would eventually starve with no living sentients to sustain them.

Kholek would make a brilliant husband.
