First for Emperor's Children.

Well, an effort was made.

Sasuga, namefag.

>mfw BA release
Guys, any ideas on Papa Sang's stats?

I have not commented on your choice to use a trip but I do have this to say.

This is fucking Veeky Forums. And no one could pay me to use a trip here. Why would anyone want to be recognized here. I post in a different smaller group on this site and because of the nature of it I am recognized. And I fucking hate it. Mark my words. Your models will become attached to that name and you will be posting as a user and someone will say hay it's the angry white fuck. And you will fucking hate it.

Let it go, son. Let it go. He'll find out the truth to using a name. He is undeserving of it this is true, and he'll never deserve it like Duke.

2+ is better than a 3+ that rerolls 1s

How so?

Anyone got epub/mobi for the Russ novel or the audio for Children of Sicarus?
Cheers anons

We got some fan rules in the /WIP channel of our discord
The dude is a troll, ignore him or post in the traitor channel

Probability and ap3

Because it's actually in the game, and not some garbage houserule save from some user's headcanon for how TDA should work.

>113
kek I miss chapter master.

Other thread isn't dead, what's going on

Shit /hhg/ has to put up with

You could also base with leadbelcher, heavily highlight with runefang, and then do the colored washes. The more exposed leadbelcher, the less devlan mud you'll need.

I like it. I don't see them going full traitor, but turning nihilistic and turning on everybody? Sure. Especially because many loyalists wouldn't trust them and the WS might not know who's on which side.

There were some in Flight of the Eistenstein, I think, alongside the Death Guard when they boarded a xenos ship as part of a genocial campaign. Once the Heresy starts I think you'd see them sent to help Astartes whenever their opponents included a famed psyker, Zone Mortalis or not.

Our new tripfag upset a bunch of people in the thread before that one then started the new thread to rub it in.
Someone started this one a bit later because a community showing splits because of a bad tripfag always happens.
tripfag acted smug about how this thread had less replies (presumably thinking because he was liked better than breadanon or something and not because it was the first one) so anons started using it and now we have two active theards

>tl; dr - tripfags are pure cancer

>mfw yesterday I finally hit the scheme I want for my AL
>mfw a friend messaged me with talk of a group interested in playing heresy
>mfw me and younger brother started working on my Rhino and his Vindicator today
The Heresy train is on!

FINALLY finished reading Retribution. Holy shit was it good. Except for the Nemean Reaver bit, even though his crunch looks bad as hell and I really want to convert and add him to the collection.

Finally getting rid of my Custodes, going to trade them for another 10 marines.

Only problem is I have no idea what to do with another 10 marines lol.

Veteran squad for another legion. Make some cool display dudes, user.

But I have no room to put them on display

Honour guard with special weapons, ALL chainaxes, deathreapers, solarite power gauntlets, servo arms, power daggers, Phoenix spears or mongol glaives

Make room. Or sell them, idk. Find some guy who wants to commision a veteran squad

Now that Battlescribe is a total piece of shit, anyone have any alternative army builders that they like?

PDF's, comprehensive reading, and pen and paper. Never bugged on me so far.

Thanks for the non-answer.

Anytime pal, happy to help

For someone smugly mentioning comprehensive reading, you should probably read the question next time.

Quartermaster is ok, the interface gets some getting used to compared to battlescribe.

>Books, pen, and paper
>not an alternative army builder

Come on now, son.

Millenials cannot into analog technology

They're also depend a lot on their mobile devices. Without it they lose all ability to recall facts, socialize, and do basic calculations for example :^)

The sad thing is that this is actually true. One time I was in a GW store, picking up a HH novel and there was this 8 year old kid watching the demo table intensely. The store manager walked over to him and tried to do his hobby introduction, but the kid kept asking "But how do you switch it on ?"
He couldn't grasp the concept of a game where you had to do more than push buttons or touch a sccreen.

Humanity is fucking doomed

He's probably going to be able to beat the current Horus. Hopefully.

why exactly do we have 2 HHG up at the same time?

Because namefags are cancer and AWG is the worst kind of namefag.

Dubs of truth

How did he switch what on?

I'm actually kind of liking it. All the sheeple, shitposters and a certain cancerous nametripfag have their own bread to perform their heresy, and whilst this bread is rather slow going it's a lot better experience.

Ravenguard rock the deep strike, everyone knows, but what do you do when facing someone else who does it too?

many augury scanner heavy support squads

Cut the SoH and Fists some slack, man.
(You) can only have so many heavy support squads, user. What against arriving termies? They'll just tank the shots. Maybe lots of Kheres Contemptor Mortis Dreads?

deredeo dreads with plasma cannonade will deal with most termies

Nope. I already thought of this, but turns out Deredeos gain both Interceptor and Skyfire, which would force them to snapfire against incoming ground troops.
But I think Mechanicus can deal with deepstrikers just fine.

Can you take Assassins in 30k?

How did you fine fellows choose your legion? A friend an I have been debating since BaC came out and we've only just begun narrowing it down.
Is it the fluff that drew you in? Color scheme? Crunch? I'm curious as to how my fellow user got around to forming their decisions.

oh, thats right, i hate that rule
yeah, mechanicus can handle deepstrikers fine

Get the new blood generator Fortification and plasma cannon heavy support squad with an Augury scanner. 10 S7 AP2 Large Blasts should deal with stuff just fine.

Plasma/Caliver support squads with augery apothecary.

Corax.

>Get the new blood generator Fortification
The what, mate?

When I was a kid it was colour (Blood Angels)
When I became an edgy teenager it was fluff (Chaos Thousand Sons)
Now I am a manchild adult I can have both (Heresy Thousand Sons)

the haemotrope reactors, you can overcharge plasma weapons with them similarly to promethium pipelines, they can also explode like them, but worse

No(t yet. Talons of the Emperor might change that ?)

...

I want to think this is the canonical version of the Dwarf fortesss blood-building pic I just posted

You could try using Alvarex Maun, doesn't he prevent enemy units from deepstriking within a certain range of him?

All theme, you can change the color scheme more than the feel of a Legion.

I really liked the tactical nature of the Alpha Legion and Alpharius himself is an interesting character.

I wasn't a fan of the shiny color scheme as I thought it was really out of character, so I went with a variant scheme with a much darker blue.

The glut of shiny metallic colours in general seem real tacky to me. Can't say I'm fond of the trend.

I bought an Epic Imperial Guard army off a friend 25 years ago, can't look at any army since.

Go Militia/SolarAux, I guess?

>tfw we live in an age where the most popular phones have more power than the Pentagon did in the 80's.
>we have the power to learn anything using them
>lolcats and other memes instead
Sadness.

Necessity is the mother of invention, user. You need nothing and you'll develop nothing.

Knight Errants kinda fit that role if you're a loyalist.

>IWs
I love sieges, trenches and being breakers of worlds. Also I can relate to Perturabo.
Yeah...I've got some issues :/
>DG
Being able to withstand everything life may throw at you, and trenches and being destroyers. And I can relate to Mortarion. Yup, I told you I've got issues.

wat. how is a suicide bomb murderer like the auto-draw if he dies errant?

Nah, he probably meant it as an Operator McOperatorpants character. You can have a psychic Techmarine with a Jump pack and a sniper rifle teleporting into the fray. Stuff like that.

Why can't Praetors have Paragon Bolters?

These guys are Malcador's get, and their everything is Master-Crafted. Also, because nobody thought of a Paragon Bolter back in HH1. I mean look at its profile, it's even better than Dorn's.

Am I going to get my shit pushed in at 3000 points with this list? (Probably shoulda asked that before buying all of it.) I'm not looking to win every game but mostly wondering if it's worth showing up. Sigismund and Mr. Chaplain pair up with an Apothecary and attach to two of the Tac Squads to walk up the field. Hopefully between the Fearless and FnP they can make it.

Sigismund
Chaplain

2x Apothecary
1x Contemptor-Cortus (DCCW + Multi-melta)
1x Contemptor-Mortis (Ass cannons)
2x Laser Destroyer Rapiers

3x 20-man Tactical Squads (Sarge w/ AA, Melta bombs, Power fist; Nuncio-vox; Vexilla)
2x 5-man Terminator Squads (Teleportation transponders, 1x Plasma blaster, 2x Combi-plasma, 1 Chainfist, 3 Power fists)

Sicaran (Lascannon sponsons, AC, Dozer blade)
Whirlwind Scorpius (Dozer blade)
Leviathan (Drop pod, Grav-flux Bombard, Siege Drill, 2x TL Volkite Caliver, AC, Phosphex Discharger)

You better hug that cover, user. Tactical Blobs, requiring about 5 shots to reliably kill an enemy marine and footslogging in "AP3+ Large Blast: The Game" are more display pieces than anything.
But I like the rest of the army, and blobs aren't that easy to kill.

Just take the Protector oath of moment and slap that shit on your delegatus who spends the whole game cruising your backline in a land raider proteus.

Does Horus really have to sit still to use his Orbital Bombardment? Not sure how you're supposed to use it meaningfully when I want him charging shit over and over.

Orbital barrages require you to be immobile? Uh-oh. I mean, it does say "unless engaged in combat or in reserve he can call down a bombardment". This means he can use it, right?

Well yea but the fact that it's ordnance gives me pause since if you move it would be snap shotting and you can't snap shot blasts. Or does the "Point of the Spear" ignore that?

New thread to end the Unification Wars

How did he turn the figures on so that they would move, he thought the models were controlled with radiowaves

Can I imagine myself as the primarch and making those decisions.
Can I do the colour scheme justice
Will people play me if I play this army
Can I have a fun game with this army against mid tier 30k

>linking to a new thread when this on has 76 posts
Leave that cancer out of here

Did you seriously just create a new thread when we've had split posts all day and this one isn't anywhere near dead?
Right after a tripfag and a namefag appeared in it and started blowing each other off and being confrontational to anons?
Nigga pls.

Are titans good in Kill Teams?

I like to take a Warlord Titan in my kill team Games, it's slightly Above The points, but who cares, it's just a casual Game Mode right?

How about this?
Obviously still very much WIP, I still have to fold thousands of layers of paint on there.

ave dominus nox/10

you can become our new KA, and we can all start memeing about how you're waiting for lightning transfers.
it looks ok but should probably be a itty bit more greener

What would you suggest?
Moving Sotek Green over Kantor Blue and adding some green on top of the lightest parts?
Might look to edgy.
I'm going for pic related.

For me it was about identifying with the Primarch and the spirit of the Legion. I chose the Imperial Fists because of their unwavering loyalty and how Dorn, Sigismund, and Alex's Poles were portrayed in Nemesis and The Crimson Fist.

I have to say that as an Imperial Fist (who wants to take some sweet fortifications anyway) that's pretty tempting. I could grab a Plasma Cannon Heavy Support Squad and dish out Tank Hunter, Large Blasts like candy. It's pretty cheap too at 2 for 40 points.

I play salamanders in both 30k and 40k. I chose them solely for fluff (especially for the endurance and unyielding theme going with them) and because I have a thing for fire

Please don't bring that cancer into 30k. It doesn't need it.

Speaking of, what's the deal with fortifications and 30k anyways? Is there a flat rule that allows me to import any fortifications from 40k? I want to use the Wall of Martyrs bunker, but can't find the rules page that allows/disallows it.

No, I didn't create it. But it does exist and I thought it would be a chance to embrace unification. Stop this schism. Lets make /HHG/ Undivided great again!

Then don't promote uneccessary threads born out of drama when a chill one already exists.

The drama is long gone, but this one was born out of stubborness. Think of the Emperor Scananon, he would not want this division of the HHGerium
youtube.com/watch?v=5ZegQYgygdw

I love that this thread contained all of the cancer from last thread and left the new thread productive

You shouldn't love it. On the contrary, it's sad that someone as meaningless managed to divide us, and if (You) really loved this general you'd be sad too instead of revelling on its hardships.
Quite a shitty attitude you've got, pal.

either stop being a faggot or get better at it, this halfway thing you're doing is shameful

Duh, if I knew how to do it I'd have done it already. I'm not the Emperor for a reason. Any ideas?

How do I go about convincing the guy with the sweetest pad (dedicated Games room with A/V set up - table / terrain (with atmospheric game lighting and the like) to take up the HH, he plays 40k and other games.

He said at a glance it just seems like endless Marines vs Marines and how can that be fun?

I'm a bit inarticulate and I can't really emphasize it's plus sides over say 40k, purely for selfish reasons mind you as we want to be able to play at his place.

Show him Mechanicum and Solar Auxillia. If he isn't into that you are out of luck.

Firstly, I guess it's worth asking what army he plays in 40k. If he plays tau or eldar, then there may be no hope.

The fact that it (usually) is Marines vs Marines means it's it vastly more balanced than the crapfest that is regular 40k right now, with its grey legions of Eldar/Tau spamming.

Though desu the Marine vs. Marine analogy is a bit oversimplified. The different Legions can play very differently from one another if you stick to their themes, but you can also just as easily make something unique with them.

Not to mention that doesn't take into the account the surprisingly popular Mechanicum, as well as the Solar Auxilia and Imperial Militia (though the latter is so underdeveloped it's barely playable for anything except fluff reasons).
