So I'm still new around here, and I'm a little confused about something.
I've read many times that its the goal of the JumpChain, where you end your adventure in a high level jump and you are gifted with a Planewalker's Spark.
My question is what exactly is a Planewalker's Spark?
I've never played MtG, and from little I could gather, you got immortality, invulnerability, vast magical power and shape shifting powers (straight from the wiki).
What I'm stumped about this, is why is it considered to be something worth ending your jump? it sounds like you could pick up all of those from either a collection of specific perks and combinations.
Sorry if this has already been explained before.

Yup, they just got held back a lot. Because Shirou is still in high school when he's at minimum 21 since he's three years older than Sakura. I mean him I could understand, but Rin must be completely mortified by it, especially since she's somehow the school idol.

The main point of the Old Spark was to facilitate multiverse travel, so presumably once you did get it the whole system of going from verse to verse and choosing was pointless since you could just move about at will. Naturally with more jumps added nowadays, the journey can get delayed somewhat.

In reality this really isn't the case, since most people never have long chains for various reasons, and very few people know more than maybe half of the IPs in the drive.

Zelretch's magic is almost nothing like planeswalking.

The one you get is more powerful than a canon Spark, but the real draw is it lets you travel freely to any jump you've been to or any world you can imagine.

Even if Shirou could cast a spell that advanced, you'd need at least three mentions of a gun cocking, one metaphor painting his member as a slab of steel being smelted by a soul-destroying fire, one mention of his brain exploding as his nerves are burned away by magical energy, and at least two mentions of a gun's hammer striking.

Not really? You have to kind of realize how amazingly niche our community is, and this isn't like PACYOA or Magical Realm, where it was just one a single CYOA document. /jc/ is made of a massive collection of documents, but at the same time it's hard to really find something that can act as a representing face, since the jump that should probably act as representative isn't the one that most people talk about.

Sure somebody could just make a page that copy pastes the intro document to jumpchain, but it won't really make that much of a difference to be honest. It's not like having a 1d4page will suddenly make /jc/ look any better or any more interesting to the rest of Veeky Forums. If people get interested, they're probably more likely to look in OP for information than 1d4 anyways, especially given that this isn't a quest or any single CYOA.

It probably won't hurt any if somebody was willing to dedicate the time to making an article and submitting it, but then again, that was what the wikia attempt was for before some guy spun it too.

Zelretch sees possible ways the world could have devolped. They aren't infinite and are all centered around the same world. Fate has explicitly finite possibilities for the world.
