I'm the fag that drew on this box. I had read some of the cool kid's Fantasy codices way back in the 5th grade in the 90s, but hadn't paid any attention to the series since like 92. Fast forward, and my coworker/manager has, out of nowhere, fallen back in love with 40k very hard.

It was slow one day (Ice cream store in the winter) and he had mentioned a space-marines and nids box set he had been looking at, as well as a bunch of other things. Eventually it got to the point where someone should be sent home, and he told me I could go home if I gave him a Warhammer 40k Box Set.

Despite my efforts, I did not get to leave early. Again, I hadn't looked at a 40k box in like 25 years, this was from memory. I may have been remembering Star Craft, though.

It's like they've never looked at anything Japanese before. Japan is the biggest offender of over cluttered designs.

you really need to playtest an army to get a feel for what needs to be changed, and your edit still feels too top heavy with two knights

I really like it but I hate how huge the new models are, it makes them difficult to use in games and very hard to transport.
I like to bring a list for all four gods and I bought a big case for all my models but it's at maximum capacity right now so there's no way I could bring this thing along.

Well, that and I'm really not feeling Tzeentch daemons anymore after the WoM update to pink horrors.

Hope you bring alot, the onagers don't worry about snap firing to ground with twin linked capabilities and I could be dropping 15 plasma shots a turn let alone MEQ getting wiped with the acheron's flamer

Two pods of grav devs is the cost of one knight, and I'll wipe both of them turn one. Even better if I take Skyhammer, 40 shots of grav with assault marines locking up all your infantry.

LoC doesn't fit any of these, Tzeentch wants to avoid melee. What could they go for?

>Shooting heavy (12 shot gun on his staff, maybe AP3 flamer, BS7 etc.)

>Power psyker (Knows all change spells, rerolls perils, etc.)

Aura of Oppression – “Forces an enemy unit to take a pinning test. Even if passed, they can’t sweeping advance, can’t run, can’t make turbo boosts, can’t fire overwatch. Can augement to warp charge 3 versions that turns it into an AoE that effects all enemies with 12″ of her.”

Causes a pinning test, if they manage to avoid pinning they still can't run, sweep, turbo boost or overwatch for a game turn. Has a powered up version that applies the effect in an AOE.

How do you all feel about the Pink Horrors "Split" rule from Wrath of Magnus?

If he takes an ultramarines skyhammer then it doesn't matter. One squad shooting at the facing with a shield will do about 2.7 hullpoints worth of damage.
If he's smart and parks a second squad behind the knight and one in the front, then the moment he puts down the pods the knight is already dead.

You can only take one (1) omnispex PER UNIT, you have 40 points tied up on illegal omnispex that could be spent elsewhere, like on omnispex for the arquebus units

ATSKNF makes them immune to Fear, being Swept, and failing to regroup.
There is no excuse for not knowing this, as the rule is literally in the BRB.
