He started out talking about a Cyberpunk 2020 game he was running and mentioned how he'd kill off players with impunity because "that's how 2020 is" and pasted some flavor text from the rule book that was all about how people die all the time, as if it justified him being an asshole.

On Veeky Forums, the sperginess of any one person blends into the background radiation. Once you start looking at a subset of them, there's less low-level faggotry to dilute the high-level faggotry.

Even ignoring that, even someone on the medium-to-low end of the freak spectrum is gonna seem worse and worse when you spend more time with them, specifically. When everyone is anonymous, you can just look over the board and see a bunch of somewhat dysfunctional people collaborating in occasionally-productive ways. When you're in a venue where you can form a personal relationship with them, you get a more complete picture of how fucked up each individual is.
