3R
Creature - Fox
0/5
Protection from White.
This creature does 3 combat damage to white creatures.
This creature does 2 combat damage to red Creatures.
This creature does 2 combat damage to black Creatures.
This creature does 1 combat damage to green creatures.
This creature does 1 combat damage to blue creatures.

If you can figure the reference, you're terrible people.

Literally a worse graceful charity.

And Pot of Desires is a worse Pot of Greed. Doesn't make it bad.

You mean the card that's been BANNED for YEARS because it's so fucking GOOD?

There's the interesting case of pic related for Magic -> Netrunner.

As the prize for winning netrunner Worlds is that you get to make a card (with limitations, and your face has to be on it), netrunner got Stunted Growth ported over to it - a custom, sure, but an official one.

It's not very effective in Netrunner, how good is Stunted Growth?

Should be a trap card.

It's a lot better in Magic, where spells cost mana (and this only costs 1) and you can use fetchlands to get rid of 2 bad cards for good.

Pot of Desires is literally a worse Pot of Greed

Return from the Different Dimension is literally a worse Dimension Fusion

The True Draco monsters are literally worse Dragon Rulers

TL;DR: being worse than something completely broken doesn't mean bad

Stunted Growth, the Magic card?

Not very, really. I think it only saw fringe play in a really weird green tempo deck that used shit like Plow Under.

Ahh, Netrunner, the "other" famous Richard Garfield masterpiece.

That would be busted as fuck in Burning Abyss. Hell, you may as well just call it "Liliana of the Burning Abyss"

I remember trying to do this before Xyz were a thing. The effects were so complicated and long.

Says only the people who don't know how to cast it properly.

Brainstorm is only really good when cast as a sorcery as you look for a particular card and combine it with shuffle effects.
