Why has it become Berserk all of sudden?

...

...

Maybe it's just filling in for Berserk while it's gone

...

Because of some overzealous elf with a nice tan.

...

...

...

Oh shit, Eclipse is inbound

...

I'm glad there are still things in the world that can disgust Marcille.

Though she takes it remarkably well by now.

Wait, Laius is thinking that something is weird to eat?

Something has happened.

This chapter is disturbing on multiple levels now.

...

It's over. Food based behelit is a nice touch for manga about cooking

no? what do you mean?

...

>you'll never have a dorf dad who makes sure you eat right and teaches you how babies are made

Why even live?

The first panel is fantastic.

They're all sharing a wonderful huge, while the shitty elf is lying there half dead.

>Marcille will never slurp your brain
Didn't know this could feel bad.

...

> panel 4
> hide like an egyptian!

...

...

...

Aw yeah, multi classing

...

> giving chilchack the talk
Beautiful

You shut your mouth. Marcille is a treasure.

First behelit pumpkins, now Junji Ito face.

>Marcille will never make you stronger
What a shit day to have this thought.

this was fucking amazing

>That face on Marcille in mid left

Adorable!

...

Is Senshi the best dorf? Because I feel like he might very well be that. And I enjoyed how this chapter confirms that he sees the other party members as pretty much his children who he has to care for, and it's honestly pretty adorable. Makes me wonder if he's ever had kids of his own.

I thought about Laius' prospects for learning this stuff and I considered whether it would even be worth attempting to teach it to him in the first place. I mean, in a way it's just enabling his suicidal antics. But on the other hand, I can see how it's more plausible that he would learn magic than that he would learn how to not put himself in danger and get hurt.

Marcille a shit, only good for lewd.

Is it just me or is Marcille actually getting cuter?

Get out. Don't burden us with your presence.

...

Do not bully the elf!

Judging by the OP, you may be right

I think it's the tired eyes.

...

The crazier and more disillusioned she becomes, the better she gets.
Also the artist has gotten really good at drawing expressions now.

Her smile and optimism: gone.

Elves are made for bullying.

And to be fair, a large part of this manga is dedicated to bullying the elf.

Chilchack delivers

...

There is no need to be upset

I wonder how hard it is to learn magic in this setting. If anyone can learn a spell or two, why not teach basic healing to every adventurer?

Well imagine having to deal with Laius' shit.

Nice.

enough elf bullying, more tsunelf.

Oh shit. Nymphomaniacs

Is there any doubt that Senshi is the cornerstone of this party?

Time for Chilchack to become Zatoichi.

>tfw you become resigned to your leader eating everything you kill

Is that what I think it is?

Senshi always the conservationist.

>RIP that one dog

>...I'll still eat it though
She's finally been broken down.

We multiclassing now? What is this his third one now? He's a fighter Ranger.

Dwarf Dad giving a halfling the "talk"
It's good to be back. Made the break worth it.

I really like Senshi's character going from aloof chef to the team dad.

>these eyes
Will this be normal from here on? It's scary.

pupils are for closers.

>"I don't know much about human lifespans, but the elf and dwarf are... probably children?"

he's not a fighter ranger, he's just a fighter with points in all the monster knowledge skills.

Not everyone can channel mana. Not every piece of furniture is wi-fi compatible.

elf and halfling. also didn't they cover the party's relative ages earlier? was senshi just not paying attention?

>he's just a fighter with points in all the monster knowledge skills
So... a ranger.

I'm pretty sure she just blinked.

Senshi pays attention to monsters and food. Everything else is for scrubs.

Except he has heavy armor, doesn't track, doesn't have survival skills, doesn't have favored enemies, doesn't have TWF or archery skills.

Halfling is 29, we had long debates about Marcilles age, for me she is still as old as Farlyn.

In Eastern literature, usually everyone can use magic with different strength and capability but the ability is there.

How hard is it depends on the author fiat.

Why tho

For the oddest reason, it's reminding me how Konosuba (another series written by a girl) features an entire gang of women suffering under dysfunctional habits and bad luck!

...

>Konosuba was written by a women
That explains!... I'm rather confused.

(You)
well fuck

If I recall, the author's even done cosplay as Megumin. Apparently, she's a huge fan of the character.

It was either the author or Megumin's voice actress.

Marcille is sporting a rather disturbing thousand yard stare since some time now.

Megumin voice actor.
The author of Meshi never show up in public.

>Making the dog wave
Even in flashbacks, orc is best girl

She's a Grade A cutie, alright.

She has to make up for that one chapter of happyness she had.

they really could give her a break, she has been give the short end of teh stick for like 99% of the time

>the short end of teh stick
Speaking of which, I'm surprised she didn't jump at the opportunity to repair her staff with the dryad's remains. Maybe next chapter?

Say what you will about that series, but the VAs seem to be enjoying themselves and that makes it a pleasant watch on a lazy afternoon.

I like the idea that there are different "systems" of magic in-setting, making magic less of a universal constant and something that people can reach from different, not entirely mutually intelligible approaches makes magic less like fantasy science and more like a supernatural art IMO.
Didn't one of the specials already introduce differences between Gnomish and Elven magic and how it caused some golems to malfunction cause someone mixed them up?
