I'm essentially a lich though, and my teleportation power would be good for annoying get aways.
Not to mention it's main combat application involves cutting people into pieces, which is a bit to morbid for a hero.

This is great. I can see into people's souls to find out how to make them feel the greatest amount of emotion possible, and then I get to be unkillable so long as they still feel some kind of strong emotion toward me. So noone can duplicate my power to bring things to life. There's no limit on what I can't effectively make into golems and if the power is vague and I get some practice (as well as get evil-inclined) necromancy isn't off the table either I think.
The first power is pretty meh on its own, but I'm willing to stretch that in combination with life magic it would mean noone can duplicate my powers control over things I make, if I have any.

Now... to become a hero or villain. I'm more leaning towards the former.
