Roll up your characters for your next camapign here. Take screen shots for proof if your DM needs it. Here are the rules: >1. roll 4d6 and pick the three highest. >2. The rolls are in stat order. >3. Pick your class before seeing your results >4. Pick your race after seeing your results. >5. No re-rolls >6. Play this character in your next campaign and have fun.
Good luck

Okay.. that was shit but whatever. I'll make it work. Half Elf, stone sorcerer >Str: 8 >Dex: 11 (+1) >Con: 12 (+1) >Int: 14 >Wis: 14 >Cha: 8 (+2)

Well thats your perogative. Why not roll a dnd character for a change?
Going to put my bonus points into CON and CHA, then take the Observant feat to boost WIS and get that sweet +5 to Passive Perception and Investigation. Lip reading's cool too. With that Dex I'm definitely going for Alchemist, and at 4th and 8th level I'm taking Magic Initiate and Heavily Armored, the order depending on if I need the AC and +1 in melee or the cantrips and free daily Catapult (I will never not pick Catapult for this feat) That brings the lvl1 total to: >STR: 15 >DEX: 8 >CON: 14 >INT: 18 >WIS: 18 >CHA: 18
Pretty fucking beefy. I'm playing this as my image.

Forgot roll. Also would rolling this way encourage more RP from crunchy groups or just a metric fuckton of butthurt?
>3. Pick your class before seeing your results >4. Pick your race after seeing your results.
That doesn't make any sense, really. I mean, I get the idea that characters, just as us in really life, don't get to pick what they are good at, so it makes sense that rolls being random and at order.
But you know what else they don't get to pick? Race. For me would make a lot more sense to decide race before rolling or maybe decide race BY rolling (or any other random mean).
THEN, when you have your race and your stats, you pick your class. I'm not saying this so the player can pick whatever is less bad for him. I'm saying this because that is how real life would look like. Life hands you lemons in the form of stats and race, but you get to decide what to do with them in the form of your class.
Just felt like pointing that out.

>OP Did you just argue with yourself?

Its just a method im trialing that is intended to get players role playing more. The race after class thing is just so you arent completely fucked.
