New Φrexian Perks for the Machine Orthodoxy, the 600cp perk you already know, though I'll post all the capstones together once I finish reworking them a bit.
A singularity of flesh and PURPOSE-100CP Free Machine Orthodoxy
Phyrexian bodies are made for their functions. Where evolution may leave unnecessary, inefficient or even adverse mistakes, you shall do no such thing. You may fill yourself with a singular purpose or goal - and be sure that you will not be distracted or make choices you know would be detrimental to it. You are doing a Great Work, jumper. Make no mistakes.
1/4

The Power of Love is the best perk.

Flay the Flesh: 200CP-Discount Machine Orthodoxy
"Skin is the prison of the blessed and the stronghold of the hereti"-Argent Etchings.
Your fervor for the teachings of the Father of Machines is commendable-and you may share it with others. By punishing their heretical ways - from small painful reminders like pinching them to grand acts like the public flaying of their wretched skin, you may instill upon them the same faith in your beliefs, influenced by how big this act is. Small acts are harder to resist and leave more of the original, but take more time, while breaking them in a single act will leave naught but their fervor and a broken mind. Even if you were to teach them something other than the Etchings, you find that after your teachings are complete, they'll listen...
2/4

Grace and false frailty - 200 CP Discount Machine Orthodoxy
Your movements are measured, your voice modulated, and your appearance awe-inspiring. While Phyrexians aren't designed with such petty notions as "beauty," in mind, you can all the same inspire upon the fools a feeling of... Respect. As if you were something to be revered, even if they hate you, even if they would give their lives to kill you, they will all the same consider you an opponent as they would one of their own. Someone who fights honorably will face you with honor, even if he wouldn't do as such for what he thinks a monster.
Whether you do so or not will change this, of course.

A faith of flesh and steel- 400CP Discount Machine Orthodoxy
The faith of New Phyrexia is a curious thing- paying no mind to things like "souls" or "consciousness". It is a faith of the physical, taken from the whispers of a slowly corrupting father, and twisted by Elesh Norn for her own ends-and yet, it is a faith all the same, and it's believers take it as truth. You have learned from it how to twist the ideals and beliefs of others, how to corrupt their goals and their teachings to better suit your own. Your capability to convert others from even seemingly incompatible faiths through manipulation and charisma is astounding, and while it might take longer than just forcibly inducting them... They'll believe themselves the ones who chose to follow you. Why would they resist what they know is truth?

Any perks like "A Key to Any Lock" from kingdom hearts? Also if I am a nobody and do not pick "Enter the Void" would I be able to use nothingness or is it locked behind the perk?

I would very much love some feedback on these perks, as I want to make this jump the very best it can be. I hope getting all this glistening oil out of my system will help Kaladesh be done well, too.

they seem Appropriate to the setting and appropriate to the price, except for a faith of flesh and steel that seems kind of overpriced considering it's basic politics

How bad would be damaged the fabric of time if I constantly traveled back in time to use namekian fusion on myself?

Generally speaking only specific nobodies have the "Enter the Void" perk. So you'd only have nobody physiology and unique abilities. And not the powerset seen in snipers, Sorcerers, and Xemnas

Think of it giving you this -
youtube.com/watch?v=MPBMQmHxy8c
Or this -
youtube.com/watch?v=NgncTPlWoJQ Fight starts at 8:32

On top of your already weird Nobody anatomy.

The level of politics that let you pull off an entire world-wide religion and absorb all others into yours isn't basic politics.
With just that perk and a lot of hard work, you could get all priests in DnD to end up worshipping YOUR God... Or you as a god. Unless they start using divine interventions, because DnD gods are mean.
But anyways, it's not basic politics.

do you have any anti-paradox perks?Because your plan is lots and lots of paradox
But isn't that basically what the Christians did with the spirits into Saints and Saturnalia into Christmas thing? Maybe it's a Difference in my upbringing/knowledgebase, but I'm not seeing something worth 400 points.

How important are waifus and husbandos in your chains /jc/?

Yes, they did that across centuries and over much of the globe,at the time anyway.

Extremely,my family is the one thing I will risk my chain for
Yeah but it doesn't specify that it goes faster, just that you know how to do itso basically the same thing

Now imagine that instead of pagan cults, Christianity did that to Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, and every other big religion. And they believed completely in it.

Depending, from very important to not important at all. Usually they aren't at the core of my chain simply because of the way I prioritize stuff like tech and magic perks over companion powerups. They mostly end up just using things I build for them over any perks they get.

Yeah I want Enter the Void now, Thanks.

>do you have any anti-paradox perks?Because your plan is lots and lots of paradox

Yes, I have plenty of those.

You could, you know, convert the biggest religious figures (like maybe the Pope), and that would make everything much faster.
It can, outside of religion, let you convert people to your ideology - whether it be being a hero of justice, a Saturday morning villain, whatever. Even if they were the complete opposite. You could turn the worst, most ireedemable villain into someone seeking justice and good for all, and make them believe in it fanatically. You can push them past their moral boundaries.
Old Christians didn't have charisma perks, either. And you don't need to convert whole religions.

then you should be good. Just watch out for when your past self becomes your future self and your Present self isn't there because they merged with your future self but if you can already handle an infinite amount of paradox and can't have your existence nullified through Self-inflicted time shenanigans. You should be good.

So, when is this jump coming in? I need that perk for I will convert them all to pastafarianism and in doing so with lots of magic and belief our god shall come into existence.

fair enough

>pastafarianism

just go to Franken Fran and pick up Fran. She does that in Canon

Well, I have the Generic Phyrexian and White phyrexian perks, so that leaves drop in/mirran, Green, Blue, Red, Black, Items, Companions and drawbacks.
Hopefully not too long in the future. I'll keep working on it. Thankfully, I have the lore on hand this time to help with the backgrounds.
The format might be a bit weird but it should all work out hopefully.

So, about that WoW update, OAA...

Any chance of an option like Demonic and Undead, to shed the Curse of Flesh and be something like an Earthen or a Mechagnome?

Also, Namekian fusion would keep my old/past self as voice in my head.

Which would be cool and creepy at the same time.

>pic obligatory

As important as the raifus, shipfus and daughterus. So, important.

Is there any certainty that future you wouldn't become the voice in past-you's head?

Nyarlathotep is actually what I see all jumpers as considering we get a new body and memories etc. I acutally had a theory where Jumpchan was us just regaining our old form and when all the jumpers were done we would merge together.

> Actually did the writing for some drawbacks
> Added some notes
> Added companion options

Looking forward to Green! Love the Phyrexia lore and setting. Thanks for making this!

Usually they're important but I realized that most my chains, I kept them around more like living sex toys rather than real people. Which it's hard to not see them like that, when its like master/servant relationship in terms of power. You the Jumper are unique, you get 1000cp to buy host of new shit every 10 years or so. You can sometimes part way with portion of your points to give your companions some. However its often less than what you get & sometimes come with restrictions. I get now why some folks go companionless in their chains.

>Is there any certainty that future you wouldn't become the voice in past-you's head?

That's half of the fun.

I also planed to fuse the consciousness at some point.

Gem fusion would be better at that point, but it's temporary.

Maybe I could use something like Power Combinations to get the best of both?

>Paladins of Justice
>Moralfags
>Chaosfags
>Orderfags
>Edgy jumpers
>Vore jumpers
>Whatever bancho is

I don't see that fusion ending well.

change log

>did some formatting work hopefully this looks better

Fairly important?

I just have one Waifu. My partner in crime from Jump 1 that I always import if capable; ie personal Jump Rules. I tend to go Brutally Cunning and have her go Cunningly Brutal like. I'm Brawn, shes Brains.

It then spread from there where she has alternate forms of being an AI, my Blood, Soul Weapon, and so on. Always try to pick up the ability for her to be multiple places at once. There was an android one somewhere in there that lets there be 10 of her so I keep the real one in my head and let the others go about!

You know, while the perk itself sounds pretty decent, all this sounds a /lot/ better than the perktext makes it seem to me.

Maybe a middleground would be good

It is called the crawling chaos afterall.

It does require some time to convert a single person, so things like absorbing a entire big religion require more than just you converting individuals, but it's more meant to get your enemies or people who would be very useful to you to... Well, work for your goals. You can use this to start a cult, to grow it, to hijack others... If you had enough time, you could do some absurd shit with just the perk, but it doesn't exist in a vacuum.
Tl;Dr it's good, but I was exaggerating a bit. Use it on key targets, or when giving sermons to people, or televise it, but it works best when you can tailor it to certain people.

Hey Reborn, if you're still around, could you possibly look into doing a overhaul of Code Geass jump, similar to your Bleach jump? Right now only thing really worth getting is a Geass. Also the pricing is all over the place. Nobody origin gets nothing other than lifting 100lbs. Soldiers get discount on a 150cp item which there's no 25cp stuff to buy. There's ton of other issues as well.

I'm not faulting you for them. I'm just asking if you would look over it whenever. Its really in need of a overhaul.

As autistic as ever. Bringing up a fact everyone knows, completely missing it already being redone by someone and generally just being blindingly obvious in the incessant need to state every single thought that crosses your mind.

You might as well be asking Wild Card to redo some of his Jumps.

I mean, while we're at it.

It's just not going to happen. You'll see replacements for Wild Card jumps before you see updates. And considering out embargo against those, you'd best get comfy while you wait. Hell has some major cooling down to do first.

I was just shitposting, I know it won't happen
Green... I might have some slight trouble with making green's perks, but I think I'll manage.
Good to see people are as hyped as I am!

Oh? When did this happen? It hasnt been brought up in awhile, so you can't blame me if I don't keep tabs on everyone's projects.

WC isn't around anymore is he? I know at least ReBorn is back around. I don't know if he still is, but it can't hurt to ask. As they say, there's no harm in asking & there's no stupid questions.

I'm starting a new chain as an excuse to post builds and expose myself to jumps that I haven't used before.

My rules are that every 10 jumps, I get to choose 1, then roll for 9 more.
I can reroll 1 of those, and then I can rearrange those ten however I want.
Gauntlets are auto-rerolled.

Starting with Counter Strike.

---Jump Number: 1
---Title: Counter-Strike
---Age: 20
---Gender: Male

---Background: -400 Choice Points - The Professional

---Drawbacks: +1400 Choice Points
> +100 Choice Points - Flashbang out!
> +200 Choice Points - Map Voting
> +200 Choice Points - Sneaky-Beaky like
> +300 Choice Points - Buy Primary Ammo
> +600 Choice Points - VACation

---Perks: 2400 Choice Points
> -100 Choice Points - It's Just a Game
> -600 Choice Points - Beginner's Luck
> -600 Choice Points - Buy Menu
> -600 Choice Points - Team Captain
> Free from Background - The Fans
> Discounted from Background, -200 Choice Points - Map Knowledge
> Discounted from Background, -300 Choice Points - Reflexes

---Ending: Onto the next jump

Considering I start at Global Elite as a part of my background, am basically as good at this as humanly possible without bringing out-of-jump perks into this, and I'm also literally playing this constantly for the entire ten years...I'm going to assume I don't lose my chain immediately.

That said...10 years straight of simulated gunfights and nothing but, that can't be good for a man's sanity.

> Reward from Accomplishment, Blood Money

What does "Street Level" mean to you, /jc/?
Is Spider-Man street level? Batman?
What are your favorite street-level settings for which there are no jumps?
What are your favorite street level jumps?

Only because he cant walk yet.

How are you rolling? Putting all the jumps in a massive list and then using a RNG?

I think you messed up your math. You should have only 2000 CP for perks after drawbacks.

Just some long as there's some option to get our hands on Darksteel/Blightsteel.

Also, are we getting something to make living weapons and Germs? And/or Myr?

I fucked up the drawbacks because I was messing around with the formatting to fit it all into the post. There's two more drawbacks that I took that total out to 400, DOOR STUCK! DOOR STUCK!, and Flashbang Out!

just a reminder that space monkeys is almost done . So if anyone wants anything for it or has any suggestions speak your piece.

d-did you get that commissioned?

Vic Jenkins is 30 years old, on the verge of being obese and a law school dropout. He spends most of his time watching reruns of Imouto Subete Kawai (don't bother looking it up, quantum possibilities and all that-but it's trash), picks his nose when nobody's looking and keeps hoverhanding around the interns. He also smells like a wet dog shat the bed on a sunny afternoon, despite the hand sanitiser he brings to work.

And this would all be forgiveable, had the man not had the temerity to compare Kino no Tabi to his stupid incest waifushit. Accusations were made that could not be taken back. Those pertaining to spouses and the fecal content thereof, to be specific.

So fuck Vic. I spend half a day triangulating my network of super-Moots to download so much horse porn on HIS computer, he starts receiving angry emails from the equestrian community. For good measure, I forward him his own social security number and tax account.

Oh, right. I have a case to win.

Uh, your honor! Something evidence something something the law something...my client is innocent?

...

...oops, I turned on the Presence Charms in a panic.

The court finds in my client's favor, even though everyone saw him kick that baby into the burning trash can. Even he thinks this is a travesty of justice. After some hard bargaining, I drive down the full pardon and damages from the outraged family into a slap on the wrist and community service.

>Nyarlathotep is actually what I see all jumpers as considering we get a new body and memories etc

Hell. No.

I'd sooner obliterate myself. Dammit, REALLY tempted to enforce the humiliation of human form on it and then kick its' teeth in on the last day of work.

No, never mind, it was the bazooka one. Whatever, it wasn't listed but it's there.

hey Manyfist I noticed that there is no actual discounts on companions or equipment In transformers, was that intentional?

Yeah a while ago. check the lower right-hand corner for the artists Website, he does good stuff and a Competitive rate.

There's a list of all the jumps on the drive. They're even numbered already, so I just roll using that.

Darksteel grows, as long as you have an ingot you have a limiteless supply, though it takes a while.

>Yeah a while ago.

care to let me in on the joke?

...

is anyone working on a nioh jump? It looks like a cool game at least.

Idk what you mean on companions. However the no discounts on Technology is intentional. I used Pokemon Trainer as a template in how they didn't have any discounts.

...That seems really odd, considering it can only be forged and shaped by magic, and becomes indestructable after it's cooled.

Where's this mentioned?

>>Idk what you mean on companions. However the no discounts on Technology is intentional. I used Pokemon Trainer as a template in how they didn't have any discounts.

well I mean the Fellow Cybertronian Allies section has 500 points for eight companions,Which seems a bit much,if the technology section is what you meant it to be fair enough.

They get 500cp each. So you're paying for a massive investment. Although I could probably do 200cp for just one companion.

okay that's fair, I didn't look at it like that

>What does "Street Level" mean to you, /jc/?
Destroying large walls at top. Maybe tossing cars, if you want to stretch it.

>Is Spider-Man street level? Batman?
Depends on the version. JL Batman is a multiversal threat with sufficient preparation time. The guy has an armor made out of demons to punch the likes of Darkseid.

>What are your favorite street-level settings for which there are no jumps?
Gintama, Tiger & Bunny, Boku no Hero Academia.

Jumper knows little about this world, despite Jumper's extensive printouts of fictional universes. In hindsight, Jumper has been overly preoccupied with non-vidya related metaphysical pursuits has actually been a massive tactical disadvantage. Jumper can only hope this Ike does not get up to anything more distressing than what he is already involved in. Looking into the near future, Jumper also makes a note to covertly hook up dad with the huge redhead because dammit, Jumper KNOWS the pain of being hung up on a dead spouse for years on end. Jumper is also impressed by his new imouto's multiclassing, and slap power.

(Cont'd)

>[Suits]
The author never posted that here.

The spat between the two goddesses Jumper awakened because they both seemed nice devastates the area Jumper is hanging out in. Jumper is repeatedly pelted with thunderbolts trying to breakup the catfight, in order to explain why the premise of turning everyone into statues to end war is flawed-fuckin' planeswalkers and Eldrazi, that's why. Both goddesses remain sceptical until Jumper summons Umor the Godflayer as an example of what Jumper is talking about, then reluctantly agree they're stronger as a team than apart. Umor the Godflayer appears confused by Jumper's manner of speaking, and also disappointed by Jumper's STRICT orders to not flay any gods today.

Jumper spends the rest of the jump touring the countryside with the local creator goddess, while also showing her a few tricks with Eradia and Prana to manifest her halves as independent selves.

Jumper strongly disagrees, and also has grave reservations about taking a multidimensional creator entity's self-declared gender at face value.

The Crawling Chaos is the embodiment of everything Jumper strives against.

>Street Level

Street level is where the average mook can be of danger. Also focuses more on martial arts & gadgets. Batman is perfect example of Street Level. He's just a dude in PJs scaring the living daylights out of criminals, while using martial arts to put them down.

>Spidey & Batman

No & Yes. Batman has no powers besides money. His major threats are those with minor superpowers like Bane & Poison Ivy, or other tech villains like Mr. Freeze & Penguin. Or on an intellectual level, like Riddler & Red Hood.

Spider-Man on other hand is hanging around way below his belt weight. He starts out on top end of Street Level but quickly outgrows it. He has strength of a spider, which is anywhere from 15 to 30+ tons, his agility & speed is so great he can practically create after images, he's tough enough to take bullets like a champ & tough enough to duke it out with those with higher strength than him. Plus he's a genius like Batman, he's not as great of a detective but he's no slouch.

>Favorite Street Level with no Jumps

>Favorite Street Level Jump

Street Sharks! JAWESOME! Also Thief is great setting. Overwatch is another one.

My mistake. Just combing through the new jumps folder at the moment and trying to clear out the jumps I've yet to do.

I...guess that never happened!

Am I a complete dick for using German Hollow to waifu Masaki?

Yes.

It's not ntr if they haven't met yet.

Why?

Maybe. However it's more than likely the fact that fucking with the bullshit Aizen's plans isn't a good idea. Seriously.

I never knew German Hollow Quest was a bleach jump I just thought it was some obscure german game or book made into a jump.

Is there anything that can prevent Jurrassic Park's Life Finds a Way from triggering automatically? That isn't Toggle or similar perks?

there is a jacket in resident evil that can do that

Urzas saga of books has it,, see if you leave darksteel alone it just grows more. He had some phyrexians in a valley trapped in time warp, they just kept farming the stuff to make better phyrexian stuff.

The heart of karn is in fact the heartstone of urzas phyrexian waifu wrapped in darksteel so that the growth of the darksteel caused a pressure on it and squeezed the stone so karns memories would be capped at a set time period.

How bad of an idea would it be to rage through Bloodborne as a Hellsing Vampire?

>Batman has no powers besides money.
We're talking about the same Batman?

Pic related isn't even the most powerful thing that he has pulled out.

How can you waifu someone that is t alive by then? German Hollow Quest takes place between 1940-1950 (or Sixty Five Million BC to 1950).

I find this funny.

It's basically under your control already.

Can't tell if super villian or good use of resources.

Depends on how warping the eldritch nature of things effects you really..

He has loads of money yeah.

Isn't one of the drawbacks a 'stay till canon' one?

His power is money and preparation, he is like an epic level D&D wizard but he replaces magic with money.

>It's basically under your control already.
Yeah, but if I lose my memories or something, then it'll be weird.

Nope, nevermind, it's not.

Well shit.

He's using technology to hit above his weight belt. He's still a Street Level hero, because he's not always in power armor like Iron Man. Rarely does he whip out anything other than his credit card & what's in his utility belt.

I just figured the best way to fight unspeakable horror is by being an unspeakable horror, but I don't want to come out the other side with an Old Great One tagging along in my soul or something.

>he has pulled out.
That's what matters. That he "pulls it out". He doesn't usually take it on patrols or even have it without some time spent to specifically develop it. I mean, if you count using shit he should theoretically have access to, then there are people IRL who could be considered city-level.

Wait, Darksteel was already from Urza's Saga? The information from the Darksteel set says Memnon created it.

Also, that sounds like a terrible idea, it'd just keep expanding and crush the heartstone entirely eventually.

>memnon
Uh, Memnarch, derp.
