>Drach'nyen aka the End of Empires aka Echo of the First Murder >It's a daemon that was born when the first sentient human murdered his fellow man in cold blood >This act, Its birth, is THE defining moment of mankind. It's when humanity's destiny was sealed >As it was born, it reached out into the minds of all mankind. Every man, woman, and child that live, lived, and will live felt its touch as it tainted mankind across time and space >Truly, a daemon of Chaos Undivided. It's kindred with all the daemons of Four and yet it stands apart. Wherever it goes, it will find a home each and everyone of the Four Powers >It can sense anyone who shed blood no matter who or what it is. Machine or flesh. They are its prey. It hunts those who committed murder and feasts on their souls and flesh >It can shapeshift into anything. From the tornado of claws and jaws to microscope bacteria >It can mass possess machines and humans. However, it cannot possess the Custodes or the Sisters of Silences, these hated enemies it just slaughtered. >It hunts the Emperor seeing his destruction and the fall of his empire as its singular purpose >So strong its connection to mankind that Emperor was vulnerable to its lethal violence. Where it wounded him it sucked out his soul. Its destruction or banishment was something beyond the Emperor >The Emperor fooled it into imprisoning itself inside a Custodes who then fled as far as he can from the Emperor to protect he Emperor from the daemon meant to kill him
Why hasn't someone statted this thing yet? This is like the coolest Chaos related thing since like forever. A daemon that's equal if not greater than the Emperor of Mankind. Stat it, Veeky Forums.
>This is like the coolest Chaos related thing since like forever God no, it's boring as shit because it completely invalidates everything everyone aligned to Chaos has been doing EVER.
Oh, your Warlord conquered Tallarn and blew up a Segementum fleet? doesn't matter, mankinds' fate is sealed by this OC doughnut steel demon!
Your demagogue corrupted a shrine world, making a whole subsector rise up in arms against the Imperium, doesn't matter, mankind's fucked either way.
Stuff like this is why I actually wish no more Bllack Library books will be written, because some dumbass writes a demon going pshh, nothin personnel on the emperor which fucks up decades of lore and the background of your army.

Abaddon doesn't use its full power through. He can unleash Drach'nyen and suck in a portion of its power to empower himself but that's a dangerous process that might end with the daemon either killing Abaddon or possessing him.
My speculation is that Abaddon will merge with the Daemon to fight the awakened Emperor or some Emperor blessed champion that is not named Celestine because she sucks.
How does it invalidate anything? The daemon is sealed in the form of the sword and Abaddon won't let it go anywhere. He won't let it go after the Emperor unless he was there. So to beat Drach'nyen you have to beat its owner Abaddon and then get rid of the sword.
Jaxon Lee
>How does it invalidate anything? Because its Fate is to kill the Emperor, and since Chaos is unbeatable und unkillable that basically means game-over, Chaos wins, it's just a matter of time. So basically every chaos cultist can just sit back, kick up his feet and wait for Drach'nyen to set the Imperium checkmate and let it collapse by itself. It bbasically decrees a long-term Chaos victory, and that's dumb as fuck because the appeal of 40k was always that EVERYONE has to actually fear for his existence.
>So to beat Drach'nyen you have to beat its owner Abaddon and then get rid of the sword. You can't beat it you retard. Because the walking bundles of daddy-issues at Black Library Daemons are now indestructible even within the warp, so there's no getting rid of it either. You can banish it, it'll just respawn. So I ask you: what's the fucking point of the whole Horus Heresy and 10 000 years of Rebellion if you could just let Drach'nyen do its thing, kill the Emperor and watch the shitshow as the Astronomican collapses?
Jonathan Sanders
user, the only sensible thing to do is ignore anything written after 5th Edition released and it has been this way for years.
Mason Phillips
40k was such a cool setting, why are faggots always trying to fore-shadow an "end" to it? That retarded star-child crap back in the mists of time, this bullshit, why can't they just write setting? Why do they always need to up the ante?
Oliver Lee
>So basically every chaos cultist can just sit back, kick up his feet and wait for Drach'nyen to set the Imperium checkmate and let it collapse by itself.
No, every cultists and CSM have to fight in the Long War in order to see Abaddon taking Drach'nyen to Terra. It won't walk itself to Terra. It's a bloody sword and Abaddon won't let it.
>Daemons are now indestructible even within the warp, so there's no getting rid of it either.
So what? Daemons can be sealed or imprisoned. Crowe is currently taking care of another super daemon sword that contains Antwyr which is a godly daemon that can possess whole systems worth of sentient beings He is doing a fine job at it.
>So I ask you: what's the fucking point of the whole Horus Heresy and 10 000 years of Rebellion if you could just let Drach'nyen do its thing, kill the Emperor and watch the shitshow as the Astronomican collapses?
Again, Abaddon won't let it. Abaddon doesn't want to destroy the Emperor, he wants to rule it. He must be there with Drach'nyen in the throne room.
And so what if the Emperor dies? He has been dying for 10K years. If he dies he will be replaced by either Girlyman (who has already replaced him in all but name as Emperor) or Dark Emperor Abaddon. Stop clinging to the Emperor so much. His death does not equal the death of humanity. There are other options to prevent humanity from exploding without him.
Elijah Jones
doesn't want to destroy the Imperium*
Ian Ward
>It won't walk itself to Terra Has before, could again. All it takes is some random s3 AP- bitch to stab Abaddon in the neck from behind, he's dead, Drach'nyen's free and ends the setting, gg no re.
