I'm going with schizophrenia, psychological trauma, and alcohol.

These choices will allow me to choose Thomasine Luby, Catrina Deresiewicz, and the tulpa. I would romance the hopeless romantic Thomasine Luby and make her my wife. Catrina Deresiewicz would be our mutual friend. She seems very fun to hang out with. Schizophrenia allows me to literally make my tulpa real (she takes the place of the entity). I would have fun with my tulpa/entity in lucid dreams every night.

Alcohol would allow me to provide for myself very easily if necessary. I would go to a brewery and privately show my power off to the person in charge of the brewery. The deal I would make with them would allow them to mass produce superior alcohol that tastes great and does not cause hangovers. This superior alcohol would be cheaper than normal alcohol, since they would only need to bottle water. I would do the rest by changing that bottled water into alcohol. I would get a large cut of the profits and quickly become wealthy.

user, this is Veeky Forums. We know players and we know DMs. Sometimes it is work to make sure your players don't go off the rails and try to stay on the adventure you planned.

I made my Carapace build for fun, I didn't really care about it being the best build. Then Wyrm took offense to some of my wording, so I countered by saying I could totally kill his build.

I find it worrying how those perks can have such an enormous impact on the premise. Some tell you nothing about yourself, others give you an extensive background with familial relations.

"You won't die until you die" isn't a perk. That's how dying works. Might sound bitchy but this is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Alpha is my fetish so I'm happy you included it. Worrying about those equipment points though. Items are generally worse than innate powers so I tend to avoid them.

1.how strong are companions, is having one is as good as having 10 extra spells?
2. What does "You can't shoot to kill. Any attack that would incapacitate instead kills.", so you can't use firearms to kill, but every your strike will be fatal?
3. Hitler doesn't have special Hitler powers or forced to look like Hitler

I think the implication is that you can't die in an narratively unsatisfying way. You're not going to get hit by a truck or something, or fall wrong and get a fatal concussion, at least not in the near future. It protects you from mundane, everyday "realistic" deaths.

I would still like to offer that though, for people who want it.

It's a little bit more precise in this. Basically, you won't die until your life is "complete". It means you won't suffer a death before you've wrapped up all your affairs. But once you have, that's it.

Equipment will include magical equipment, magic is purely abilities, so it should be somewhat balanced. And there is the possibility you will have your abilities disabled, so I'll try and make it balanced.

It's Erebus, not Hades. Though that's given me a bit of an idea.

Maybe have it so Erebus can get you out of passable things, but obvious deaths, like decapitation means that Hades can't turn a blind eye.

Personally, GRU is a bit of an uncomfortable one. Erebus is the least significant in universe, though, so it'd work reasonably well to axe that.

I'd rather not get rid of the DOG, though I might tone down some of the more silly aspects of them. The lore I have planned has them pegged as some of the most evil motherfuckers on the board though.
