Overdrawn. Should have ended before it jumped the shark, not that it was THAT good to begin with.
and when that was?
Fine and fun. You're going to get plenty that claim it was always bad though.
Rogal is more entertaining than Kitten.
Its okay.
Ive been writing and deleting sentences and i must have gone through a parahraph or two by now but i really cant express myself any clearer than it being strictly "okay"
Its aggressively lukewarm.
my favorite quote
I like his burn toward emps better.
...
It's fun.
Magnus and Kitten are a great 2 man team.
Emps and Rogal are likewise perfect for each other.
Everything is just as overblown as 40k itself. Just with smidge more self-awareness.
I think every fucker that will enjoy it already knows about it and the spam here is fucking ridiculous.
Fuck off and make more episodes.
His VA is the best thing in the series.
>Spam about it
There is like a single thread when a new episode comes out, aside from these kind of threads when someone discovers it.
It's fun, and not as stupid as canon 40k.
>Ay ayayaya.
About 5-7 episodes ago at a glance, when they replaced whatever original humour they had with referencing stale memes and forced attempts at being funny.
>mfw I never realised Karstodes had a tattoo of the Emperor on his arm until now
I like it.
It was way better at start when it was just a parody of GW.
Less funny and intresting now when it does its own thing.
>tfw you had a DD deck that would have obliterated Tzeench
I can't get myself to enjoy how needlessly stretched episodes, and dialogues in general, are, but otherwise it can have its fun mements.
...
...
I wish Alfa would release videos more often. Although I realize they aevtime consuming.
It's slightly worse than Black Library on its best, but better than Black Library on average.
It's pretty fucking awesome.
Also, Rogal Dorn's VA and lines are the best.
Can we make Dornposting a thing?
I really want it to be a thing
...
Thank you, father.
This
I feel like it really shines when it's someone (whether that be Kitten or Dorn) explaining how fucked up the Imperium is to an irate Emperor. Now that there's plot and multiple story-lines going on, it tends to fluctuate a bit more in quality.
Funny for the first one as it was an interesting concept. Now it's annoying and I am sick of guys coming into my flgs and being like " hey user have you watched the latest ITEHTTSD"
Just because it's related to 40k doesn't mean I like it.
>I feel like it really shines when it's someone (whether that be Kitten or Dorn) explaining how fucked up the Imperium is to an irate Emperor.
This. This is all the series should have been.
I enjoy it. It's pretty fun and funny though I will admit the recent multiple plot point are less enjoyable. Wish there was more Imperial Guard stuff.
It passes the time.
And it gave me some knowledge about the world of 40k.
Still don't know what a Blood Angel is, though.
I couldn't get past the first few episodes. Hate the lazy "animation" and it's just not funny.
The animation gets better after episode 8.
The animation gets updated in season 2
Its fun to watch and the story is about as good as the crapshack fluff of 40k as is.
Rogal is the best.
>bring me my tools and 10,000 laborers
It got me back into warhammer desu
It has a pretty cool intro.
...
I only really like it for the reaction images
A lot of people don't like it but I think it's pretty great, all things considered
At least Alfabusa can advance the plot
Unlike some people
I really enjoy it, though I definitely agree that the "Someone tries to explain current events to the Emperor, which ends up pissing him off even more with the state of the Imperium" episodes are generally the better ones, and some of the voice acting is...not great (though I'm inclined to let it slide considering that a lot of them are not native English speakers)
I think it's hilarious but shouldn't be in any way be taken as a good way to learn the lore.
it was funny at first but theres a reason the creator has to go out of his way to apologize for the shitty memes it creates
Why do you care? It´s successful, gains a ton of Patreon Shekels and we´ll watch it, even if the characters play shitty and unfunny Pokemon cardgames with jokes that are as funny as a livertumor. Just pump out more content you lazy fucks. It is a Shekelcow, so milk it, faggots...
It delivers some 1d4chan humor in a reasonably palatable fasion and Dorn has some legitimately funny moments.
But sometimes I feel like there's a level of failiure to realise that they don't quite understand some of the topics their mocking.
And watching someone make jokes at the expense of something that was misunderstood about 40k is just painful, more so when they take themselves seriously enough to try and give history lessons about said lore.
The strength of the show is as a sitcom were the 'sit' is the GrimDark future of the 41st millenium. It tends to wrok better when the stakes are set lower. Honourable mention to Chaos Descends for doing this well.
you must be fun at parties
>"sun" changing to "son" for like one frame
What does it meeeeeeean?!
Just like ya mama...
...
Alfabusa please go!
I like hoe it's built its own continuity
Some characters like Dorn, Sicarius, Typhus, and Sly Marbo are handled well. Everyone else really isn't very funny
It's okay, good enough to keep me interested.
THis guy knows...too bad it got unfunny, cause the funny was great.
Slaaneshmas was pure cringe garbage without a single joke.
Sadly, the geedubs trolls found out about it and pulled alfabusa's teeth. No teeth, no funny - now he's just a geedubs shill.
It's the only way to learn the lore, it is objective - unlike the shit gw craps out.
find it kinda boring and not funny.
hmm. I'll give it a second chance then. I wanted to like it, I really did.
This.
What? Did geedubs actually do something to him?
They threaten a lawsuit or something?
I believe so...he's got a disclaimer tagged onto the end of the last show or two.......
Spinoff when?
>Pokemon
I'm offended at that.
It was obviously MtG
That was the joke.
But... But it's yugioh. You can't just go on the Internet and lie!
There's a sun in the warp?
It was good, it is not as fun as it use to be (I liked the genestealer episode though) and now it became the source of cancerous shitposting bait
>Blood Angels
They're a bunch of red space marines who sometimes go insane and murder everybody because daddy died. Their primarch was basically an angel dude who was murdered by his brother and the psychic impact of his death is what causes their occasional outbursts.
...And that's about all you need to know.
Sounds kind of edgy.
>Dorn7
Nigga how many TTS pics do you got on your hard drive??
One of the best things to come out of the WH40K fandom.
Sadly, gotten stale lately with all the 'special' episodes where they just make lolsorandum jokes all the time. I mean, I'm the kind of retard who enjoys jokes like that, don't get me wrong, but in moderation. The last few eps have pretty much been nothing BUT that. It's starting to remind me of that stupid chef character from CAD, especially whenever Draigo enters the scene.
I did like the last one in spite of myself, though, with the ridiculous card game bullshit. But the slaneeshmas one, as others have mentioned, was pretty awful.
Dude, are you retarded? That was fucking Hearthstone.
They're mostly pretty sweet bros though. It's just that one edgy issue that really fucks 'em up.
Also when royal corn gets introduced he steals the show, absolutely hilarious
You're all wrong; it was obviously poker.
That's where half the budget went, the other half went to rogal dorns voice actor
They're literally called blood angels. I don't think that I could even come up with a non edgy concept that could be called blood angels.
And then there's the fact that they're part of WH40k. That's another edginess multiplier.
So the Blood Angels have rage moments and the Salamanders have pyromania.
Do all the chapters have shit like this, or are these two just special?
>I don't think that I could even come up with a non edgy concept that could be called blood angels.
Beings who use latent psychic powers to regenerate lost blood and donate it to a good cause. That sounds unedgy.
A lot of chapters have some weird obsessions, but those obsessions aren't the entirety of their personalities. I can't remember if the episode the Salamanders were talked about mentioned this, but the Salamanders are massive fucking bros. They actually keep contact with their families after they become space marines and the actually interact with the citizens of their planet on a regular basis.
Any notable examples of these weird obsessions? My knowledge of Warhammer 40k is lacking in regards to the chapters, and I figured learning about the weirdest obsessions would be the best place to start.
The Lamenters are so suicidally devoted to saving normal humans no matter what that there's like five of them left.
The White Scars are an underrated but super awesome chapter of nomadic motorcycle riding super soldiers. Wherever they go, they must go fast. This stems from them descending from Jaghatai Khan, the child of the Emperor known for surfing on a tank going several hundred miles per hour during the siege of Terra.
They're also one of the most cultured chapters, practicing all forms of art and poetry, but every other chapter just looks at them doing sick wheelies on their motorcycles and dismisses them as savages.
Pretty sure he's always had it, at least since Youtube changed it's copyright system
If he didn't Geedubs could've claimed all of his shit for free and basically steal his money
Currently looking them up; it says their primarch is Sanguinis, but wasn't he the angel guy who's death caused their rage? Why didn't it affect the Lamenters the same way?
>nomadic motorcycle riding super soldiers.
Link related.
Lamenters are derived from the Blood Angels, FYI.
Let's see...
Emperor's Children (before they went to chaos) were obsessed with everything being perfect.
Space Wolves have a wolf fetish so extreme it's not even funny. EVERYTHING has "wolf" or "fang" or "claw" in it for no reason at all.
Carcaradons (is that how you spell it?) will murder fucking everything they come into contact with and give zero fucks about anything.
The Thousand Sons (before and after chaos) are obsessed with knowledge and psychic powers, to the point that some of them would explode because of the shit they were messing with. And STILL did it.
The Dark Angels are obssessed with "The Fallen", some Dark Angels who are supposedly traitors but almost no one knows about. They've kept it hidden from the entire Imperium except for a handful of the Dark Angels in charge and will pursue any Fallen Angel to the extreme, even leaving civilian planets to burn in order to capture a single one of them. The Fallen may or may not be secretly loyal.
>Why didn't it affect the Lamenters the same way?
This was actually somewhat of a big deal, as many thought that the key to a cure would lie in them. If memory serves correctly it started effecting them when it was looked into. They have the literal worst luck. They can't catch a fucking break.
Thats because the yugioh episode was for yugioh players the same way the early episodes were for 40k players and not for "Text to speech device watchers" if you catch my drift
Ten.
All of them?
Forty-seven.
>less than me
>fuck
...

That it should go back to shorter episodes.
You mean,
Paradox Billiards Russian Roulette Fourth Dimension Chess Strip Poker?
