Think you need either SSG or Aether Vial, but not both. They can both be dead cards if you get too many in your opening hand. 2 lands, a guide, a Vial, a SSG, 2 bears makes a strange curve.

anyone else disappointed that the madness cards from SOI were made so underpowered because of flipjace? it wouldve been sweet to have madness synergies with all the discarding of amonkhet and looter scooter

I'm going to test this in UW and Jeskai draw-go. It might be strong enough to do an Esper Charm impression in those decks. It certainly plays well with Snapcaster and Gearhulk.
