FIRST FOR GORKAMORKA

THE EATER OF ALL THINGS

Daily reminder that Barak-Mhornar is where it is at, and the other skyports are just jealous of our mastery of the code.
Ground dwellers need not reply.

Reminder that you should punch the shit out of any Kharadrons player that tries to cheat and not use the paintgate.

AoS Skirmish.

Mordheim reboot?

Paintgate?

Translation: "Coming soon: Warriors battle for treasure and glory in the mortal realms"

people trying to bullshit that kharadron can't use their skyport rules unless you paint them in the skyport's colors because of a poorly worded thing

Honest question, is Mhornar really "the best"/among the best of the official skyports? I really like their "lore", their colour scheme is among my favorites, but i'm quite new to aos and don't know much about special rules and meta stuff. I currently don't have any plans to go competetive, but should i ever go down that route, it'd be nice not to have to repaint everything.

As the game progresses it seems like order has massively more armies that fit into it than the others. Do you think GW will redo the grand alliances after a few years? I just see order with like 20 battletomes and everyone else with like 6 or something in a few years time

I'm hyped.

What with 40k 8th, Shadow War and AoS Skirmish, my minis are giving me so many new options.

I HATE IT

>He thinks I give a shit about autist punk dorfs.

Imperium syndrome. Just wait until they flesh out Free Peoples and shovelling out more stormcast.

*Duardin

I could easily argue Zilfin or Urbaz as better, its a matter of opinion until someone proves it at a tournament.

>go to warhammer redd*t
>the models they have upvoted are some of the ugliest shit ive ever seen
That daemon prince on the front page is 3 year old got into the paints tier

Not really, no.
They aren't bad, most of their rules will get a use, although their battalion buff will likely be used by nobody, but they aren't top tier.

I would say that goes either to Barak-Zilfin (since there are a lot of strong flying enemies), or Barak-Urbaz with their Khemists Supreme ability.

Wtf is that shit?

The only bad Sky-port is IMO Barak-Nar, only because they way too specialised for unbinding

whoever posted this was role playing as me and I don't appreciate it.

stop being a pathetic loser.

Dispossesed, Chaos, Kharadrons or Slayers? What kind of dwarfs is best for you Veeky Forums?

Dispossessed

that's not even my army and I don't want whoever plays that army to be associated with anything negative.

It is hard to decide. On one hand, the KO are easily the most competitive right now, but on the other, the Dispossessed are the ones that can surprise people the most.

If you have miners, people will be like "why is there suddenly a unit of warriors with a bolt thrower behind my general", and then there is the odd time you can buff hammerers and the enemy suddenly sees their strongest unit get beat into a little pulp.
Then there is giving a Dragonslayer a relic blade and setting him off against Chaos.
The relic blade increases his damage by one, and he does double damage to chaos, meaning he now had 6 attacks that do 4 damage each, that hit and wound on a 3, with +1 to wound if the enemy has more than 2 wounds.
Use him with Runelord and Warden king buffs for extra laughs.

A dead one.
Fuck diggers.

No. A dying one who tells you where his mates are.

No its just the GW version of Hinterlands from TGA.

Dispossessed are the least faggy, and if you played total war, also the coolest.

>t. grobi scum

Kharadron, easily.

When you start a new army, how do you usually go about buying new models? Buy a shit ton of kits at once, or buy and build each kit one at a time? Do you get your standard infantry first, or do you start with the biggest, fanciest models?

Personally, I tend to start with one of the cheaper kits and see if my interest holds long enough to want more.

I buy a Hero and some battleline to start, then add what seems fun to paint.

I build a 1k point list and build it, play it, then decide what it needs and expand from there

Are there any worse people than army flipfloppers?

Death players.

Reddit rats. Bonus points if they keep complaining in /aosg/ about Ironjawz.

Rude

What's wrong with flip-flopping? There's a lot of cool armies and just picking one is heart wrenching

Do they talk about Dispossessed lore at all in any of the novels? (or even a decent mention or two in the Battletomes for the other factions?)

>GW tries to into hinterlands
Hope it's good, Hinterlands is wonderful but the points system is a bit shitty. Perhaps GW can do better!

Aelves are cool.

haters just be jealous

They are.

I'm really enjoying my Disciples of Tzeentch, but I'm also excited to see what they do with light realm and shadow realm aelves. Also interested to see what Tyrion looks like now.

Rate this list. 1980 pts.

Heroes - 480

Troll Hag - General

Battleline - 300

3 x 20 Gitmob Grots

Other - 1100

4x3 Fellwater Troggoths

3x5 Grot Wolf Riders

>and just picking one is heart wrenching
but way more healthy for your wallet in the long run.
Hobby ADD has the side effect of also never finishing shit. That means you end up with mountains of unbuilt miniatures.
Kind of a waste really.

So exercising a little self control is a good thing.
If I had know what I know now 20 years ago I'd probably be a lot happier with my hobby stuff right now.

10/10 for having a troll hag
Looks fun

I wonder how good a Tzeentch list with just 6 wizards and 6 groups of Tzaangors would be. You get 6D6 4+ mortal wound shots per turn from the Tzaangor banners then add another 15 or whatever from the LoC and the other wizard spells.

>can't use Magnus in AoS

fucking why

I would spam runelords against you.

What would be the best system to use for an Age of Sigmar RPG campaign where the PCs are Knights-Questor traveling the Mortal Realms doing commando shit like finding ancient artifacts and assassinating agents of Chaos?

I don't feel like any edition of WFRP would actually be able to handle that sort of game. Maybe like refluffed Deathwatch or something?

maybe exhalted.
has rules for half-gods/capeshit stuff.

He has yet to grace the mortal realms with his magnanimous self.

Any D&D clone would do.

The damage comes from the banners which aren't spells. You get 6 4+ rolls for a mortal from each of the six units of Tzaangors. So the runelords and rune banners can be shot off.

Then I will just spam cannons and engineers and snipe your wizards.

And miners and bugmans rangers.

AOS GOT RPG!

community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/246244-games-workshop-the-makers-of-zweihänder-grim-perilous-rpg-partners-for-the-age-of-sigmar-the-rpg/

But Age of Sigmar has no fluff (right now).

I like sticking to 1 army because
1. I have a fully painted army with over 200 dudes.
2. I never forget rules because I know them so well
3. I rarely have to look at warscrolls now because I know what all my shit hits and wounds on

Would Snorecast be better if they got pic related as battleline and keyworded? They could use them to fill the same role as blood reavers.
It would make Samecast less same-y

>Hasn't checked out the battletomes nor campaign books.

STAHP.

>forever crushing the dream of a stand alone freeguild faction

And it prop never will.

And if it does it will not compare to WHFB lore which is really sad because I would want it to.

They would be like chaos marauders but for order.
That would be neat.

Those are currently "devoted of sigmar" faction, not freeguild

>lightning boys come down from azyr
>Local humans worship and fight for them
>Adds normal humans to army

win-win to me.

What did AoSg do today? I won my first official game of AoS today after 5-6 losses in a row bastiladon does work.

Is your army painted like those?

My chameleons kind of are. After painting them I kind of wish that I painted my lizards green since they look really nice.

Congrats.
I primed some ungor raiders. Thinking about how to paint them.

Those look sweet.
Well they are lizards, you can start painting all the new things you add to your army like that, they don't need to be uniform due to the army.
Like skaven, its cool to mix in some brown rats, black, albino, etc.

im sorry. I didn't realize that was a meaningful distinction.

I'm slowly finishing my tzaangors and it's time to prepare a roster for upcomming games.

Fellas at my LGS play at 750pts format with 1 battleline.
With model I own, I can either set up:
Tzaangor Shaman
Gaunt Summoner
10x Tzaangors
3x Skyfires
3x Enlighted
(720/750)

or
Tzaangor Shaman
Gaunt Summoner
10x Tzaangors
10x Tzaangors
3x Skyfires
(740/750)

I can't fit Ogroid ino that list, same goes with Tzaangor Coven batalion. Which would anons pick?

Finally got back into painting my seraphon after years of being out of the hobby

Why wouldnt you just do 1000 pts and play at an officially supported amount that has tournements and shit?

post photo

post photo of bastilladon

Omniscient Oracles Battalion is pretty sweet

...

Well, they picked 750/1500 format for LGS league so newbies could get in faster.

nice
any full army shots? love me some dino riding dinos.

Also when warherds get updated do you think we will get beastmen riding beasts?

>do you think we will get beastmen
not him, but beastmen have been historically one of the least popular and therefore updated armies.
I wouldn't hold my breath.
GW has a bunch of more popular miniature lines to update first.

No bully pls

Looks good!

Would've been smart of me to rotate it too

Thanks, salamanders are one of my favourite models

Not a full army, but at least every unit is here. It's not that great of a photo though.

colors make it look like he is wearing a party hat.
I approve.

Go for the first list. Skyfires and Enlightened are nuts.

>square bases
You have to go back
I like how jungley they look

>round bases

kys AoS babbie

I did the bases this last week, I really like how they look compared to before.
Speaking of warherds/beastmen there's my dads half unpainted army from 10 years ago.

Whats wrong with square bases? I just dont want to go through the effort of re basing a lot of models

Bling Skellys from Chamon idea: Prime black, airbrush or if lazy use the gold spray can, and then decorate with silver armor and other bling.

>Go to my FLGS in Dusseldorf (Germany)
>They tell me AoS and all GW games are banned
>Why I ask?
>Because of Brexit, they will not sell the games of traitors

Fuck >

They sound like utter cunts

>And if it does it will not compare to WHFB lore which is really sad because I would want it to
Fantasy lore was a mix of copy-paste stale themes m8. They had something like 2000 years to make a decent lore and they just made up a le grimdark meme tier setting

>Why play British fantasy/sci-fi tabletop games when you can play industry simulators?

So all this cloud realm bullshit is cool and new?

If you ever played D&D this is all just copy paste bullshit from all the planes of existence.

Tell them Merkel is a bitch and to enjoy HabeebMohammed raping their wives.

I'd love to play against your army.
9/10.

>Things that didn't happen: The Post

Why don't you just say that the old world is literally floating outside of the realms (see sigmars space station) and just set your games on that?

You can do whatever you want in AoS.
