They look cool but no way am I gonna pay that much for minis that I can't even use at the store.

>being slave to GW and their archaic laws
>not supporting 3rd party stores

Use the bits on your guys though

Why?
It's not actually cheaper.

This.
Bits like heads are great for adding flavor to IG and the like.

Just ordered some heads from these guys to make IG more diverse.

this one looks awesome.

>Playing at a GW store
>In 2017
I shiggy my diggy

I like their stuff but they need a distributor over here. Even if it's just like The War Store or something.

Because some Warhammer heads look fucking retarded

This is why I used Anvil Industry heads ony me Space Marine Scouts

Can you not just have someone over to your place?

I have no space or terrain here anyway.

Make some out of lego

>building an addition to your apartment out of lego

next-level skills

You can't clear a four by four foot space in your entire flat?

Then meet up elsewhere; go find a local village or church hall, or ask a pub or cafe if they'd mind if you met up there.

I use the Afterlife Unity Council guys for my Guard. Isaias makes a good Ordnance Tyrant

Do you do anything to make them to look more like 40k guardsmen? I'm considering picking up a few of these guys, but I feel like I need to glue some lasgun tips to their guns or something or else it might as well just be a count-as army.

Forgot the pic

>posting in a literal shill thread

I made casts of the legs of the unity council guards and mix them with guard arms and lasguns mixed with recast greatcoat torsos and void helmets. No pictures on me though

If possible, buy weapons from another source. My sources for bits are
>Bits of War
>Anvil Industry
>Puppetswar (going to stop, quality is whack)

some of these are cool

too bad they are resin.

I'm not that guy, but I can't do that, especially now with the airbrush booth

....ooooooooooooor just not buy random ass bits like I already don't do, and bring my army to the GW store with lots of terrain and play there, like everyone already does?

Why would I rearrange my life so that I can buy some speck of plastic?

I've gone in with Victoria for greatcoats before. She also sculpts female versions which can be neat. She doesn't have much in the way of weapons but I think a few of her special weapons are neat like the Plasma Gun.

I like to see those pics if you get a chance.
Wow, Anvil really going above and beyond with their weapon bits. Just get a set of specialist arms and some magnets and you have access to all of the options a guardsmen squad has.

what's wrong with resin?

I like Victoria miniatures stuff but with the value of the pound as it is Anvil Industry is just so much cheaper and they have a lot of poses for their guys.

It's brittle and droops if a sunbeam sneaks through your window.

True. I just liked her greatcoats and wanted to make a mixed-gender team of riflemen.

Still kind of frustrated that I'll have to sculpt them all Plague Doctor masks since nobody makes headswaps for them. You'd think the first person to make bird masquerade and plague doctor mask headswaps would just be minting their own money.

Do you live on the sun?

Mad robot and anvil industry have made a lot of stuff by fan request.

I would write on their forum page/facebook page. I doubt Vic will release that any time soon as they very slowly release new stuff.

The Prussian heads were previewed in 2013.

I'll probably just search up a good Shapeways designer and commission some from them.

Still, would be worth a shot. At least that way others might benefit from my own request.

These models dont look as good as 40k ones.

And its just a fast way of making counts-as armies illegal if you dont do any conversions.

>assuming we only want shit to use in 40k

>Don't look as good as 40k ones.

How?

A lot of parts do look better though. Mainly the heads. Considering how dated the guard plastics are, these are a good resource.

Different user, but where I live can get up to 50 degrees, direct sunlight through a window over a period of time will defiantly droop the resin.

No. His mom won't let people over on schooldays and his dad has custody on weekends.

My painting skills aren't substantial, but here's a squad of Regiments dudes I recently got my hands on. Still really happy with the quality of the models and how well they assemble. A joy to work with after messing about with endless Cadians.

hese guys are really good

Yeah, I'm a real fan of their more recent bits. The stuff they initially had was too much like modern military stuff for my tastes, but chunky void armour and medieval helms? Sold.

My only complaint is that there's no female figures. I'd go to Victoria, but as said the pound is fucked. A 10 strong squad from there costs £38, whereas you can get the same from Anvil for £27.

Still much more expensive than the £18 Cadians, but I've got a swarm of those already.
